That is the question. As we all know commands are those useful moves that you collect (Fire dash, thunder surge, magic hour, fire etc.) Should these be put in KH3 or should they stick with the past numbered titles playstyle? This has honestly been on my mind for awile. Please share yor opinions.

I think it would be great if they could somehow mix the two.

I actually think that the command/melding system is my favorite of all the games, and would love to see them evolve it for consoles.

In the trailer they had a magic meter, although this was just a teaser and nothing is set in stone, I would guess they will have magic in KH3 (No matter how much we want commands)

Keep the Battle System from previous numbered titles. Hopefully a mix of KH/KH2.

Personally, I'd love to see them use the Commands Battle System (like Birth by Sleep, KH3D an Re: Coded).

At least for me, it turns things much more dynamic!

A mix of both battle systems would be great too...

Well its obvious that they're going to use some elements of kh2 in there since Nomura stated  that they were going to use that for some inspiration.

I actually love the command system. And not to mention that i had some kind of crazy theory in my head that the command style was the 'way of the keyblade masters' since it was used in BBS and in DDD since after Yen Sid said to Riku and Sora "Just forget everything you already know" and BLAM...they now use command systems.

Two command menu's. One with the old.

Attack

Magic

Items

Mehehe O.o what command am I?

and press the L trigger or R trigger and BAM!!!

-COMMAND SLOT-

-COMMAND SLOT-

i want:

att bind to x/o

jump bind to o/x

dash and block bind to square

reaction bind to triangle

then the command thing will look like this:

attack

items

summon

drive/limits

and if you press R the tab will change and x/o will activate the command you pick

This. As much as I like the command system, it's too easy and too outrageously overpowered. It was much more of a challenge when most of the damage you caused was solely from the Keyblade iself...Now there's literally no point in using the damn thing.Of course I'd love to see new spells though. I just want the old system back, with some new unique spells added to the list.

the problem with kh/2's system is that it takes ages to get to the magic/item you want and most people want to be able to move sora while they use magic and you can't do it on a dualshock controller(the r3 and l3 are too big)

I definitely would love commands to be in KH3, as well as melding and commands level upping, like in BBS. Also somekind of mix of commands and the KH1 and 2 battle many could be nice, though I dont know how that would be done.

There's truth in that too, though, and it could be best if they made it so that the commands wouldn't be quite that powerfull. And if they didn't put commands in the game I would love to see a lot of new spells at least too.

To use commands in KH3D you have to stop moving. You can totally move while using magic in KH2. In KH2, they made shortcuts so that you wouldn't have to stop to use magic or items. Just press L2 on the controller, the left anolog stick up and use the shortcuts.

i do respect your opinion but i almost never used magic and items in kh2 except for curaga because i had to stop moving for it...in kh3d i just had to press up to change command and it was much closer.

I'll go with the traditional style.
