So...I investigated Mr.Playstation 3 and gave him an operation  It was a pretty stupid idea to do this without supervision. Everything went fine until the reassembling part. I forced Playstation's hat (cover) back on, not realizing that the thing that was blocking was the power button metal device. I had just finished reassemblig Mr.3 when I realized the power button wasn't working :O ! I disassembled again and saw the deformed metal device and when I tried placing it...IT BROKE :s I FELT SO BAD! THE POWER BUTTON WAS BROKEN! Worst part is...I don't where the metal part fell! WHAT IF IT FELL INSIDE PS3 AND IT CAUSES A SHORT CIRCUIT KILLING MR. PLAYSTATION 3 FOREVER : :'( : What am I supposed to do? Mr. Playstation's organs are working just fine but what if the metal part gives him a heart attack : :'( ::(

Calm down doctor!

There maybe a way to fix him, or get him a power switch donor!

I will check the internet now.

The playstation works just fine. The only thing broken is the power button. Actually there's a part of the power button missing. That's all. It can't be fixed unless I replace the power eject board. And I might not be a professional but I have a bit of computer knowledge.

Thanks...like I hadn't realized that already <_< :):D

You will need to dissasemble it completely just in case the piece fell near a circuit. If you find the piece, you can paste it with super glue mixed with bicarbonate of soda.

Next time, give it to an expert

Why does this thread sound like a horror story to me?  I remember modding my PS2 and just opening it scared me senseless.  I don't get how you people can do this stuff >.<

Yeah well it  was a good idea not to open it. I will never do it again  So happy my baby survived...next time I'll let my dad handle the disassembling/reassembling thingies. I still need to check if the piece of metal is there and I need to replace my blu-ray drive <_<
