Alright, so this has really interested me recently and I wasn't quite sure on it.

 

We know that people's nobodies look the same as their original selves when they become nobodies. We also know that Roxas looks like Ven because Ven was in Sora's heart.

 

So the question is, why does Namine look different than Kairi?

Cause she's special

She's the specialist nobody there is

 

She's a nobody of pure light

 

Different situation, different circumstances

 

When you think about her being a nobody of pure light her appearance kinda matches, pale blonde hair, pale skin and white clothes are generally coloured associated with Light beings like Angels.  

 

I would have suspected that at the time of her creation, it was really they didn't want to have two characters too similar in appearance so people would get confused.  When you think about it the majority of the nobodies were shown first before we saw their original self (usually games later), so it seems likely with time and evolving the series they decided when designing their original selves after to make them look similar to their nobody so people can make the connection.  

Because Namine is just weird. If I remember right she isn't exactly Kairi's nobody either. I think it had something to so with Sora too...If I remember right. Because A princess of heart isn't supposed to be able to have a heartless and nobody because their hearts are void of light. I don't remember it all exactly though. Because...Well... I don't care much about her.

Namine wasn't just born form Kairi. Princesses of Heart can't produce Nobodies. Otherwise Princess Aurora would have made a Nobody in Birth By Sleep.They also don't turn into Heartless when they lose their hearts.

 

So how was Namine created?Kairi's heart was trapped inside of Sora. When it was released from Sora's body, Kairi's heart created a Nobody: Namine. This is why Namine has so much power over Sora and his memories. She's almost as much Sora's Nobody as she is Kairi's in a way.Perhaps she has her blonde hair because she took a bit of her appearance from Ventus like Roxas did. But of course, it's hard to say for sure.

Sora and Kairi's situations have so many exceptions that they don't make all that much sense.

Namine is special, there isn't really much an other reason.

It's because she's a nobody born from Sora's body. She came to be at the exact same time as Roxas. When Sora released Kairi's heart,(and his own) they were born. He was sort of like a medium. A nobody is born when a person with a stong heart becomes a heartless. The conditions were met because Kairi's heart was inside Sora. And HE became a heartless. So technically His and Kairi's stong heart created nobodies. Kairi own body didn't turn into a nobody because her heart never(impossible) left the realm of light. So she was stuck in a comatose state. She didn't become a heartless but she was technically heartless. Namine looks that way because she is a nobody born from Sora's body.

^This is the most likely explanation. Using Sora's body as a medium and the interference/influence of Ven's heart made Namine blonde. Same reason Roxas looks like Ven instead of Sora.

 

On a side note, I want Namine to come back and kick ass with a Keyblade. If Roxas can use one, she can too.

Naminé is...weird. There's really no explanation for it. At least we're never given one. The whole process of Nobodies and especially what happened to Sora and everyone connected to him when he stabbed himself with the keyblade of people's hearts is a business that was never well explained within the series...probably because the writers kept changing and adding onto it. So I wouldn't think about her too hard until KH3, that is if we get an explanation about her even then. 

 

My guess on what Naminé is, is that she's not a Nobody at all. Realistically she can't be. A Nobody is an empty shell (a body without a heart) that has taken to walking around on its own. But Naminé can't be a body because there isn't one for her to be. Sora's body was used to create Roxas. And it is shown that Kairi's heart enters her body so it wasn't Kairi's body that was used either. Kairi and Naminé obviously have some sort of connection but my guess is that Naminé is a being with no heart and thus was labelled a Nobody. It's more likely she is a physical representation of Kairi's powers, maybe her memories and maybe the connection between Kairi and Sora or possibly the representation of Sora's connection to all of his friends. That would explain her knowledge about everyone who's connected to Sora and her ability to control the memories.

It's simply because Nomura is mentally ill.
