Hey everyone, how's it going?  Okay, before you point fingers at me and say that I may be too late to realize this, but it's just a curious observation that I had in my sights, and it's something I thought I should share just in case there are people that don't understand.  So anyways, when I was playing Days yesterday and when Roxas fell into a deep sleep, Xemnas asked to Saix if they had found the chamber, and Saix said progress is slow, if they had even made any.  When I heard this, I immediately thought of Ven.  The members that were sent to Castle Oblivion were tasked with trying to bring Sora to their side, but their side mission must have been to try to find the chamber where Ven is sleeping, because they know that Ven would be a vital tool in their plans.  But, seeing as how Aqua's the only one who can find him, they failed miserably.  Anyways, that's just something that I noticed. 

What really bugs me is why would they want Ven. Nomura porbably didn't have it sorted out what would be in the Chamber, but he must have come up with a reason by now. Something about Vanitas maybe? Or just because he's a potential vessel as well?

Hmmm, you make a good point there.  Both of your assessments make sense, because this could be related to Vanitas, since he is the darkness of Ven's heart, but the fact that Ven was so vulnerable to darkness may have immediately sparked the Organization's interest in making Ven a vessel.

If you notice Xemnas, Saix, and Xigbar also talk about gaining control of a vessel in the game. Nomura referenced KH3D in a game 5 years before it... or perhaps Days referenced 3D? Either way its just something neat that gave me a mini fangasm

Maybe xemnas wants ven because he is part terra and can partly remember him.

if you guys haven't played kh2 fm, you see a cutscene that shows xemnas entering a chamber of sleep? i dunno what the chamber is called. but he sits down before Aqua's armor and talks to it as if its a friend. in fact, he calls her 'a friend'. this is probably because there might be a piece of terra inside him i guess. some of terra's memories. just go sift through your knowledge of BBS to understand what the heck i'm talking about.

 

so the reason he wants to find ven is probably for the same purpose he obtained Aqua's armor and called her 'a friend'. maybe he just wants to see him. and most likely has some evil plan regarding as well. but the goal of finding Ven was probably not a priority. so i guess they tossed the project.

I always thought he was being sarcastic. Xemnas is Terra in part, but I don't think he ever suceeded being in control of his own body. 

He went to this Chamber, that comes as complement to the Chamber Ven is in, to see the memmories of his life as Xehanort, and had dreams about his plans, like the X-Blade, the reason The Organisation is obsessed with the X. I read that somewhere

I'm playing this game through and I noticed and thought the same thing. I'm 99% sure that is what they are referring to. I mean it's called the "Chamber of Waking" for crying out loud!

Well he clearly said it. " Did you find the chamber?". Saix even did a speech about the Chamber of Waking and the Other one. The Chamber is the chamber where Ventus rests.
