The other thread was full of arguing, and the title was sorta unclear, so-- discuss everything relating to Birth by Sleep's English release date here. Please do not make additional threads on this topic.

 

Currently, I believe some websites are reporting July 27, while others are reporting September 30. July 27 seems accurate because of the previous statement of "between June and August", where September 30 seems accurate because it falls on a Tuesday, which is typically when games are released in USA (the same happened for 358/2 Days the previous year).

 

However, neither of these two dates are official yet, and could just be speculation from gaming websites such as IGN. Please wait for an official statement by Square Enix.

Actually i found a site saying it comes out on June 1st, im not 100% accuret since the cutscenes rnt english yet and NO1 knows the voice of Aqua but that was the date i heard

A friend of mine placed a bet with me that Square Enix would announce some news regarding the release date of BBS this month and that Square Enix will narrow it down to which month it's going to be released in rather than the 3 months of summer estimation. Do you guys think we'll be receiving news of the release date this month or will it be that common belief that all new information of BBS will be released at the E3 Expo in June? Just a side note, my friend and I made this bet to adjust to the struggle of having to wait so long for this game. If I win, he has to buy my copy of the game and vice versa. Only 3 more weeks till the month of May is over and anything can happen. Should I be worried? lol

I think that Square will update the English BBS website with new pics this month. That's it. We all know that their showing it at E3, cause the game needs to be publicized.

man I'm so anxious. What's worse is that I'll be on vacation in Colorado until the 15th so I'm going to miss half of E3. I'm going to feel so crammed with news when I get back lol. I really hope they let us all know soon. My mom already lost a bet with me so she has to buy it for my brother and me

I really do hope that this game will come out soon it will be my favorite game of the year and since i don't know the story it will be even more exciting Does anyone have a specific date for its release yet? I do wonder who will voice Terra and Aqua though...

Kingdom Hearts fans take note! Today, our friends at Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep will be available in North American on September 7. A prequel to the mega-hit series, this pivotal installment takes you back to the beginning of the Kingdom Hearts saga, where you will explore iconic Disney worlds through the perspectives of three different main characters: Terra, Ventus and Aqua.

I would definitely get the bundle. It comes with a memory stick, the game, and it also says a movie. Plus, it looks way cooler than the other PSPs. And all you pay for is the PSP and the game. Dang, I wouldn't mind sharing it with my brother.

I'm really happy that the release date is finally confirmed but I'm not happy at all that it's coming out on September 7. I'll be back in college by then and my brother and I won't get to play it together this summer like we planned I guess now I can get the game as a 5 day late birthday present...Don't get me wrong I'm totally excited! It's just that KH has always been one of the things that my brother and I share and it's already hard being away for college without having the game split us up further I guess :-/

I bet the movie thats going to be in the bundle is Prince of Persia, since its a Disney movie and its not related to Kingdom Hearts or Square.

I know Transformers 2 came out in June, then it came out on DVD in October. Prince of Persia is coming out in May, so it would come out in September. It only takes 4 months for a movie to come out on DVD.

I'm curious; has a DVD movie been included in bundles before? I keep thinking it'll be a UMD movie, and we all know how popular those are :|
