I'm not calling you anything for that.

Yes, but a very active stereotype. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist in society.

They don't like it. They worship it and treat everything else like crap. Haven't you been paying attention??

xD Can do.

I only get annoyed when weaboos claim they are part Japanese when they are not because they watch anime and read manga only. You can like Japan, but you cannot become Japanese.

Actually, that's otakus. Otakus are the ones obsessed with the Japanese language, manga and anime. Just those things. Weaboos, on the other hand, are obsessed with everything that is Japanese. But in the end, both groups are still obnoxious.

I don't care what language I watch (tho i don't watch much anime, anyways...=P), but, I tend to prefer the Japanese so I can watch it muted with subtitles.....cuz sometimes I'd rather have a bit of quiet. :)

I take the middle road. AKA, the road to dawn. ;)

......... o3o Does "Wanting to learn japanese because it interests you" and "Reading only Naruto manga, watching Naruto anime, and other anime" count as a otaku? I consider myself just a anime fan.

Oh thanks for the clarification, they still can get annoying.

Ehhhh, it's hard to know where the line is. Most otakus watch/read a variety of manga/anime and they're usually pretty condescending with their "way of life" and do what they can to insult people who aren't like them. Their lives are consumed, one way or another, by what they're obsessed with. If you aren't really like that, and it's just something you like doing, then I don't think you are. But like I said, it's hard to know where the line is between 'learning Japanese because I like it and because it's fun' or 'I am obsessed with Japanese language, it is better than any other language.'
