The Truth Behind “Got it Memorized?” [A PSH Fanfiction] (Cancelled)

Posted

I’m going to write a 3-5 chapter story on why Lea/Axel always says “Got It Memorized?”  Prepare for it, because you have no idea what’s in store for you (neither do I xP)!

I came up with the idea when I was taking a shower the other day, I know, weird right?  But the bathroom is actually a very good place to brainstorm, because your mind is free from external forces, and helps you concentrate on a single thought.  Anyways, I asked myself this exact question, “Why does Lea/Axel say ‘Got It Memorized?’”  Well this is the backstory that’ll elaborate upon it.  I’ll try to make it canon to the whole Kingdom Hearts lore, although, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nomura explains it later on.

One more thing, I’m planning to add a girl to the story and I’d like it if someone could give me a name for the girl!  Something really KH-y and has a nice ring to it!  I tried asking earlier, but I want to verify a really good name. Just feel free to vote on the poll! (:

That discussion is here: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/58238-this-is-random-but/

I'll post chapter 1 in a bit.

I'll let you guys keep voting. Chapter 1 doesn't introduce the girl's name so yea...

Something to add real quick. I tried really making a good backstory, so Lea doesn’t act like the normal Lea when he’s seven years old, but that’ll be explained later.

Anyways, here’s a small part, I’m calling chapter 1. They’ll get lengthier later on, but here it is anyways. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Something New

First Theme:

Now we all know the beloved character Lea and his Nobody counterpart, Axel, who both, often say the phrase, “Got It Memorized?” But why, does he actually say that?

...Well it all started when Lea was only a little lad, about seven years old. He was very smart, but often didn’t let those he knew or anyone for that matter, privy to this information. He always felt that letting people know about his brain, would make them feel bad, and he couldn’t have that. So instead of letting his talent shine, he would always pretend to be the idiot of any group he was in, the one that lacked something all the time.

At first, Lea was okay with this and so he went about his day, the same as always. The redhead would go to school and immerse himself in pointless conversations with his friends, for friendship was the most important thing to him, that was, until he met someone who would contradict his whole being. The social nit that he had worked so hard to create would be destroyed by the arrival of none other than Isa.

Isa was the same as Lea, very strong and talented, his knowledge was unparalleled to anyone he had ever met, save Lea himself, but there was one difference, personality. It was in fact a huge one, the largest anyone would probably notice about any random two people.

It wasn’t as if Isa and Lea didn’t know each other, it was that they actively pursued the idea of ignorance between the two. They did not want any confrontation with each other and it was fine the way it was. And what led to their destined union was the unexpected, something that the two could agree on as being a very invalid nuisance to their everyday lives.

End Theme. Second Theme:

“Hey Lea!” one of his friends said, calling him to the group.

They appeared to be surrounding something from the distance, just at the ridge of the alleyway near the courtyard. Lea walked casually through the grass and jumped up the two foot ledge, arriving at the entrance of the back alley to see his casual group of friends having another just as casual day. He grabbed two of his friends shoulders, jumping to see what they were so interested by. To his surprise, was a girl on the floor.

“Haha, Lea. She was lecturing us about ditching class, so we-”

Lea stopped his friend from going on, his eyes burning brightly, almost as red as his very hair. He grabbed his friend by the front of his collar and pulled back his right arm, planning to teach his friend some manners.
“L-Lea, what are you doing?” his friend asked him, a bit intimidated. “You aren’t serious, right?”
Lea launched his right fist forward saying, “Unbelievable! I can’t do this anymore! You guys ar-” Lea’s arm suddenly stopped, the girl on the floor moments ago, was now holding it with her tiny hands. She was smaller than the boy, but it didn’t hinder her from stopping him.
“Don’t!” she said, advising the boy. “You can’t...you’ll get expelled!” said her, yelling at the boy, while closing her eyes.

“B-but, you...” He looked at her, eyes filled with sympathy. “You were hurt because of them, weren’t you?” he asked. He began to become angry again, grasping the the collar tighter.
“Y-yes...”
“Errrr!” he said, planning to continue his right hook.
“No!” she yelled, piercing his ears and the boys around him.

Lea dropped the boy, blinking for only a second at most, but before his very eyes, his former friends were on the floor, passed out. It was a very big shock and indeed her pitch was piercing, but how could have they been knocked unconscious?

“Come on!” she yelled, grabbing his hand.

She ran as fast as she could with her just as tiny legs, dragging the boy with her to her own house. She opened the door and let him in or more as, threw him in. Lea fell onto the floor, dazed, and very confused. He slowly stood up as he saw a pair of feet standing before him. The boy that he would come to know soon as his best friend stood before him, as rude as can be.

“What are you doing here?” the blue haired boy asked Lea.
“Huh?” Lea finished his pan up, seeing a blue sweater, realizing it was none other than... “Isa!”
“I said... What are you doing here?” he repeated.
“Lighten up, Isa!” the girl replied, closing the door behind her. “His name’s Lea and he’s going to be my new boyfriend! Got it memorized?”
