Do you think video games have made the world a better or a worse place to live?

I don't see how they could make this world worse. The money they make is good for the economy, they've created thousands of new jobs and inspired artists everywhere, allowed people to expand their social circle and are in some ways interactive art. I'd say video games definitely made the world better. If you want to go shoot something up irl because you played CoD or whatever then the problem's with you and your mental health not te videogamw

I can't say for sure. Video games have made a good impact in terms of entertainment and technology.

But I don't think enough to make the world a better/worse place.

With the exception of kingdom hearts (a game which turns wild murderers into fluffy rabbits) I do think that gaming in general produces a more lethargic population.

It really depends on what subject you are talking about, but if it is general then yes it has made it a better place. It is an art and a hobby that is very enjoyable and releases stress so to a individual it can make an impact, but not really an impact on the entire world besides the fact you can connect and play with others within our planet and all that.

I could go into detail through each decade, but long story short, more good than bad.

 

We don't know what the world would be without them. Hard to say.

 

I assume 'we' is refering to people born after video games were made, right?
