Just wanted to say that I'm well into the series and it's definitely worth it's acclaim. It's not the second coming of Christ (I like DragonBall and Naruto better) but it sure is good.  

No NA release? Craap. You think that they would make a US release, given the huge One Piece fanbase out here...

Something tells me there's already one... I'm honestly kinda iffy when it comes to petitions, since I don't like having to give out all my contact information. I still support a lot of movements that petitions are made for, though. It kinda sucks to only be able to watch from the sidelines. ;_;

I'm not sure, I'm way behind. I finished Arlong Park in the manga, and I decided to just follow along with Toonami's showing of the anime. I think that OP is somewhere between 500-600 episodes now though, so it's come a long way!

604 episodes in the anime, and 714 chapters in the manga so far. The anime is still in the second arc in the Pirate Alliance Saga (first Saga of the timeskip), the Punk Hazard Arc, meanwhile the manga has moved onto the next arc in the saga, the Dressrosa Arc. So yeah. LONG way.

Is it like the ViZbig re-release of Dragon Ball? I know that originally in their solo edition books they were uncensored, but things were censored in the Vizbig/ (Possibly whole pages cut out? idk)

They've got 3-in-1 volumes for One Piece now, too? I might need to check those out, they're usually really good deals... I kinda doubt anything would be censored though, since OP is really tame compared to other T rated series. At least from what I've seen, anyway.

Eeh I usually hate omnibus books (My Cardcaptor Sakura and Tokyo Mew Mew look like they want to fall apart, but they probably just have really shitty binding)

But I felt One Piece and the book seems pretty durable. I don't think it'll fall apart

I got one of the Naruto 3-in-1 volumes, it seems fine to me. I'll need to take a look at one of the One Piece omnibuses when/if I find one

Fun fact for those of you who care:

 

The character Sanji was originally going to be named "Naruto", but of course you can guess why it was changed to Sanji, due to Mashashi Kishimoto's manga one shot called, what else, "Naruto" coming out around the time One Piece was going to debut, which of course would lead it to become a full fledged series.

Glad to see the anime is almost out of the Long ring long land arc on Toonami. It was cool, I just wish the anime hadn't dragged it out so much.

One Piece is actually my favorite anime/manga. And I've been reading it for 6-7 years by now, and I don't think it's gone downhill, well, not much.

You became a huge One Piece fan quickly. ._. I remember you showed this one to a few of us on Tinychat once, it's really great. I've seen some other works by friends of the guy that wrote this one (And he had a preview for an SAO fandub which was awesome, too). It's dedicated fans like these people that make it worth being in a fanbase!

 

Also, this is kinda off topic, but the combination of "Little Tortilla Boy" and the picture you chose for Ace always makes me laugh for whatever reason.

Yes. Yes I did. lol I'm just now getting into the Skypeia Arc with the English Dub. After that, I'll be watching the rest on Toonami, until they hit the filler arcs, in which I'll watch the canon episodes after that, then continue on until I hit the last of the English Dub and then start watching the rest in Japanese. Then once I'm caught up with the anime into the newest episodes, I'll start reading the manga... from where the anime leaves off. I'm sorry, but it's 700+ chapters, aint nobody got time for that. lol I just want to get updated, I'll read the rest when I can. lol
