SEGA of Japan has just purchased a new domain. What does that mean? Nothing in itself, but when taking a look at the URL...

It leads to a blank page, of course... for now.
We discovered this through some paperwork that is under the name of SEGA of Japan that has been floating around, which I guess is some sort of sheet they had to fill out in order to buy the domain.. The paper work says nothing about the game, except the paperwork also mentions, in detail, how game programmers, game software, and disks along with cartridges and digital device usage are all included as part of this trademark.

What do you think? Is this paper work real, or fake? Is the next sonic title JUST around the corner?

I don't see how having poor taste equates to being "stupid" i've seen plenty of intelligent people who have some horrible taste(like listening to Justin Bieber or Disney Tweens...or being a Twilight Fan *shudders*)...I never said that...you jumped to that conclusion yourself

 

What's great about it? Sure the first time they're fun but as you begin to replay them you see that most of the stages are designed very cheaply and the stages become boring to play...that never happened with the classic games cuz they had amazing intricate level design which never got boring

On the other hand I can only take so much of City Escape before I try to glitch through walls or something out of frustration of the level being so goddamn restrictive and linear

And I don't even wanna mention the awful alternate gameplay styles...Mech Shooting? Amy running away from a Robot? Treasure Hunting? ICE FISHING???????????? SERIOUSLY? What were they THINKING?

 

I never did...judging tastes doesn't mean I'm telling you to hate/love this or that game

Just because Big;s gameplay is ass doesn't mean the entire game suck.

 

And again,my opinion,I don't have to explain to you why I think Adventure 1 & 2 are great.That's my preference.End of story

As much as I loved Sonic Adventure, I can agree that Big's stages were no good. I didn't mind Amy's stages as much, but she was seriously slow. E-102's levels were fun. Treasure hunting stages... well, there isn't really anything bad about them, but they aren't my favorites. Sonic's and Tails' levels were perfect though, albeit Sonic's has a few glitches.@Damn, I know, I'm saying I like the Sonic 3 half better than the Sonic & Knuckles half.He was in the DS version of Sonic Colors too, and that's a main game.IDK, Shadow is more than just a recolor... he's different from Sonic. I can see where you're coming from though, since he had pretty much the same moveset as Sonic in most games. That's why I loved Sonic Battle though, he had a ton of new moves in that. (Mighty was just a palette swap of Sonic though, so he's kinda just a recolor too, just without spines)I dunno, Knuckles just never appealed to me. His voice is cool though.Eesh, sounds scary. Sorry to hear that.

Tails levels were good but I didn't like the racing aspect...I want to explore the stages with Tails Flying that would have been cool...the rest are just surplus

 

I'm not referring only to Shadow...Silver too and then there's those Riders Characters which look like Re-colors of each other...and then there's Tikal who looks like a Female Knuckles...it's stupid

 

His voice is actually...eh...depending on the voice actor.Dan Green made him sound stupid,the Adventure VAs made him sound constipated...I haven't heard his new voice yet

His Japanese voice is good tho

I don't really like his Modern Incarnation that much as his Classic one...I mean seeing Knuckles laugh at you every stage in S3 while activating a trapdoor was awesome...and remember Knuckles is the only one to knock Sonic out of his Super Form with a Punch and steal his Chaos Emeralds...that is freaking badass

Yeah becuz I only mentioned Big's Gameplay...Mech Shooter levels and Treasure Hunting Levels and Amy running from a Robot sucked too

And most of Sonic's stages weren't that amazingly designed to make you play them over and over and over again...and that's a shame cuz if there's one thing the SA series did good was Sonic's Controls...Sonic has never controlled as good in 3D as in Adventure 1...Never

 

I wish Sonic X-Treme could have been released...then Adventure might have never happened and we would of had a better game...but Sega had to firetruck up

Well, since Shadow and Silver are both hedgehogs, it'd be normal for them to look similar. And the Babylon Rogues are all birds, but they aren't really recolors considering they all have different shapes, colors and sizes.The thing about the Classics that bug me a bit is because, due to the lack of dialogue, I couldn't really connect with any of the characters. Their personalities were just too simple to me. I mean sure, Knux's laughing was awesome, but it just seemed like there wasn't a lot going on with the characters. A lot of retro games had that effect on me, like Zelda.

A Sega representative has confirmed that the immensely colourful Sonic Lost World has been delayed till October 29th. The game was originally scheduled to be released on October 22nd, but the company has told Polygon that the release date has slipped by a week.

But it's strange...this is one of the very few Sonic games that got leaked....I don't think even Generations got it's Street Date broken...sure some spoilers leaked from review copies but other people didn't get it until release

IGN actually said Sonic 4, Colours and Generations were great and but that this wasn't. I tend to agree with them. I don't like the look of it one bit. LittleKuriboh doesn't either. He's said this since E3.

Reviews for Sonic games were always average no matter what game it is.

 

And no...Sonic 4 both episodes were bad....really bad...they're in no way better than Lost World.

 

And besides....neither me or you have played the Wii U version yet so I'm gonna reserve my full judgement for a while

I've played it before, I didn't have any problems with it. 80% of the people on Miiverse love it. I don't get the low scores, really...

There are a couple of scores that are 8 or 7

 

As for the low scores...IGN makes nooooo sense in terms of the problem they've stated...I've just opened Miiverse on my Wii U and most people loved it

 

I won't believe the people who gives every single Call of Duty a 910 blindly but then becomes bias against Sonic

 

The game is good...in fact it's better than NSMB U and imo better than Rayman Legends(my opinion only)

 

It's just that Sonic can never catch a break from the unpleasable fanbase to the dumb critics who automatically low score it because Sonic 06 makes every game after it bad or they're basically Genesis Wunners who think nothing for Sonic after the Genesis was any good.

 

Get the game guys,try it for yourself,don't listen to the critics

I've been used to mix reviews when it comes to a Sonic game......even Colors got some similar reception during it's first week debut.

 

Also,I love how some sites declare the Sonic 4 episodes as success when both episodes were complete failure...but oh it's 2D Sonic so it's good anyway derp.

the footage in the video right here proves every single point IGN made wrong.

 

I swear this IGN review has been done by a guy who never played a Sonic game before

 

Also,they're saying the same bullshit about Wonderful 101 which turned out to be a great game from what I've played

 

I'm gonna buy this game regardless of what they say

 

I hope to god those reviews won't cause the game's sales to drop
