Who else will try perfecting 1.5?

Posted

I'm a HUGE perfectionist when it comes to trophies and achievements, despite only having completed 3 games in total across PS3 and Xbox360, which are all easy games, like Counter Strike:GO, Minecraft, and NBA2k6 (Which only had 5 achievements plus the game being glitched out too), and I'm not gonna play any other game until I perfect Kingdom Hearts 1.5, or so I say. So I was just wondering, who else is gonna attempt to platinum/perfect all of the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 games, which I guess would only be Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories?

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix for sure I want to perfect.

To platinum Re:Chain of Memories will become repetitive since you have to play the game 6 times.

And it will be easy to get trophies on 358/2 days but there will be no platinum.

You have to play Re:CoM 6 times?!?! For what trophies?!?

1.5 comes with three trophy sets, one for each game, but only two, KHFM and Re:CoM, will have platinums, if you didn't already know that :P

I'm gonna try. I'm not as good as some other people at the game, but that's why I'll do some hardcore grinding at destiny islands.

It'll probably be best to have a regular run to get as many "natural" trophies as I like to call them. Then replaying the game to get the more challenging ones like "Don't change your gear at all" (I believe that was a trophy…?). I mean, they really seem easy to get.

They'll probably have it where, like the Last of Us, for example, where when you beat it on, let's say, Standard, you'll unlock the trophy for the easier level of difficulty. So, assuming they do that, you can play it on Proud (if it comes with it) and unlock all of those on one playthrough.

I plan on doing standard mode first ^_^

Ohhh. They'll probably have Proud mode locked like almost all the other games had their hardest mode locked.

Sweet. So if the trophy thing you mentioned is correct, then that means it's 2 for Sora and 2 for Riku (the times we play them if again that trophy thing you mentioned is right).

Ah, a fellow perfectionist. I am that way too, but only with the games I like. I plan to do a bit of a long-term ritual before KH3 comes out: Platinum all of 1.5 (and 2.5 when it come out) and buy all the KH manga when those come out. I am going to refresh my knowledge of the series, get every trophy and dive into Kingdom Hearts itself, so that my body, mind, soul, and heart will be prepared for the installment that we've all been waiting for...

Kingdom Hearts III

I'll admit, when I found out that difficulty trophys don't stack I was having second thoughts... but i'm still determined!

chain of memorie will be a pain though, having to play it 6 times and all.

I swear, when 2.5 comes out... DIFFICULTY TROPHIES. BETTER. STACK. As much as I love the game, I don't want to play it 4 TIMES with Sora, Ventus, Aqua, and Terra. That would be MADNESS!!!

And yet somehow... I would still do it... such is the curse of being a perfectionist... *sigh*

I'm not one to platinum games, but I will no doubt complete each section of KH1.5 on proud mode. The one thing holding me back is finding hidden treasure chests. I always miss at least one, which screws me over. From what I've seen the Dalmatians may serve as an obstruction as well.

Shit, they don't stack??? And I'll probably just re-read all the Wikipedia pages again xD

And I feel you're pain on being a perfectionist

So, apparently what I said is incorrect. We'll have to play through it 6 times :

It feels all worth it in the end Juma. But I agree, sometimes when I'm really determined to platinum, I feel like I'm cursed on getting platinums ^_^

Ah yes, I understand. I will have to fall back on many, many guides for those trophies.

Ehh... I never really liked achievements or trophy unless I'm rewarded with something. Or if some thing is really challenging.

KH FM I'll try to, but re:Com? Aint nobody got time for dat.

If you are a perfectionist then you got time fo dat.

Gonna get platinum for KHFM but 6 plays for platinum in CoM, I don't know.. Maybe I'll do proud mode, my sister standard mode, and then I'll go ahead and endure beginner mode.

Maybe. I'm defiantly gonna try to beat Sephi though. I could never beat him in the first one. Maybe now with the improved reaction commands I can.

Lmfaoo

"endure" beginner mode. That's actually hysterical. In my head I imagine you like "I'll take it upon myself and do the hard work and complete beginner. Someone's gotta do it, right?"

lol "Natural" trophies xD it's weird because i describe them that way too xD

Hahaha it makes sense because you get them through "natural" gameplay!
