Do you guys think I've...

Posted

...become a bit serious or less funny lately? A few family friends of mine said I haven't been cracking as many jokes as I used to before. I too have noticed that I have barely made many jokes since I moved to this city(though don't get me wrong I like this city much better than the last one).Part of it is because I've noticed my behaviour leads people to often conclude that I'm some happy-go-lucky immature twat who's got life easy and that greatly annoys me.  But well I'm supposed to start college in a while and I don't know how I'll properly fit in if I'm not being as funny as I once was.(And I admit, I've been having a couple of anger and depression issues lately)So do you guys think I've been behaving more seriously lately?

Who cares how you've been behaving, just be yourself. And haha what's so bad about being thought of as a happy-go-lucky person? Just be yourself. And we don't talk that much so I can't really say if I've noticed any changes but from what I've seen I don't think so :3

go with the flow, if you act true to yourself and just think about who you are now as opposed to who you used to be you will sail through life on smoother seas.

Be yourself and be comfortable. If you don't feel the need to crack jokes as much, then ok. So be it. Do what makes you feel happy and is best for you. There's nothing wrong with happy-go-lucky either, you just have a different outlook on things ^^

yeah dude be you, as long as your happy as who you are don't care about anyone else and their opinions :)

I haven't noticed anything. And there's nothing wrong with being serious either, if you're comfortable with yourself who cares

So I'll tell you something about myself.  When I'm around my friends I often joke around and one day my friends and I got into a fight and they told me that I never take anything seriously, although I often take most things seriously, it's just I rather be having a fun time rather than a sad moment.  Why do I bring this up?  Joking around doesn't make you a happy-go-lucky immature twat, it makes you an enjoyable person.  People are serious in different ways, sometimes you just don't want to be part of a situation filled with tension, it doesn't mean you aren't serious.

Now about you personally.  I think you have been not as funny as recently, but not because you're "serious", although I do take you seriously, it's because you haven't been posting as much.  You aren't actively pursuing the funny route and that's fine if you want it that way.

There's a time and place to be serious, but there's also those too serious moments that you just have to laugh it out or you feel bad.  My solution to this is don't care about what people perceive you to be, because if you're confident enough in yourself, you'll project that feeling onto others.  To the people that automatically assume you're something, just write them off because them writing you off shouldn't matter.

Hope this helped! (:

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Personalities change while you age, its just a part of life. It could possibly be because of your mood during a certain time. Don't worry about what others have been saying about you or will think of you, people change and will change. My mother also are really confused why I'm not the happy-go-lucky-super-offensive-yet-honest-and-super-talkative kid anymore. It's just the way of life.

Honestly I agree with Sky, you haven't been posting lately so we can't come with a final conclusion about your humour.
