Your gonna choose in the beginning.(sword, shiel, staff)

I'm not sure if there were already a post about this.

I'm getting shield and staff.

Getting the sword, giving up the shield. I always do it in that order. Having a front on defensive is what I do until I get the proper magics to do ranged attacks and defensive spells.

I usually choose to staff and give up the shield when I didn't know the effect they had on gameplay, I like magic and felt strength was more important than defence

Now I know that it effects the gameplay I'd keep the shield and give up the staff.

On second thought I'm getting shield and giving up staff rod

I'm getting the shield for the boost of Defense and the ability to actually survive many hits, especially since I will be playing on Proud. I'll give up the rod, I found strength to be the most useful than magic in KH1 for me.

I tend to just rush things repeatedly, so I choose the shield and give up the staff.

I tend to go sword and give up staff, but I might give up shield for proud.

I practically never give up the staff, since it gives AP. And I always fine that I am short on AP. For normal play I probably would go +staff-shield, or +staff-sword, though for the level 1 challenge I probably would go with +sword-staff.

I think I'll take the sword and give up the shield.

I don't know

but I think I'll use a guide to decide what will be the best decision

when I 1st played KH I took the sword and give up the shield

but in Final Mix the stats and the levels where you learn the abilities have changed..so the decision +sword -shield could be not the best

I started with shield and gave up magic the first time, but since I was seeking a challenge and defense is useless against Sephiroth I now go with the sword and leave the shield.

I mostly picked the staff since it gave you 3 MP at the beginning instead of 2, and I think it gives you more MP by the time you reach level 100 than the sword and shield do.

This is the most cliche order but i choose sword and give up staff
