Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

Allitt entered the academy's meeting room, following her teacher's instructions. She'd been told to convene here with a group of fellow students for an important mission. "What kind of important mission would they be assigning to someone like me, who isn't even a proper Keyblade Master yet...?" Allitt asked herself aloud as she leaned against a nearby wall. Her teacher wasn't there, so she had time to relax before things started. She summoned her Keyblade, and stared at it for a moment. Not like she had anything else to do while she waited.

(By the way, all the heroes got the same instructions as Allitt, if they're from the academy anyway.)

Out of nowhere came a sonic boom, and a cry of anguish. From the heavens descend - No, not Chuck Norris - a young man, flying effortlessly. He summoned...a Keyblade? And fired a beam into the sky, before looking around. He spotted a ship coming in, then glanced around. Spotting the group with the portal, he again hit a sonic boom, skidding to a stop before the portal, Keyblade held loosely, a look of pure outrage on his face.

"Who destroyed the tower?" he demanded. He looked around them all. "And why the hell did a bunch of amateur Keyblade wielders get here from the Academy?" The guy spun his Keyblade once, glancing around.

The beam traveled into space, and hit an orbiting satellite, which sent a specific set of instructions out to space. Why? Well, simple.

Allitt looked at the man who had just arrived, terrified. "I-it wasn't us, I promise! It was some other guy, up by the clock tower... We don't even know him!" She answered, stuttering in fear. "As for your second question... Master Jupiter sent us on a mission, our Mark of Mastery exam..." She answered, hoping this guy wouldn't fry them on the spot.

Joel just gaped in surprise at the man who just appeared. He practically came out of nowhere, and he looked pissed. Joel regained his composure and ran up to where the man and Allitt were.

"L-look, mister..." Joel started. "She's right. We didn't do anything. We're the good guys. Look, we'll make it up to you -- we'll help you fix the tower, or the town, or whatever you want us to do."

Jack pressed on, reaching the designated place.  It wasn't the ice cream shop, it was the middle of the town.  "Those guys are crazy.  I'm not leaving people behind when they need my help," he said, reaching the stores and telling everyone to evacuate to the tunnels.  In hindsight, he should have just told everyone about his master plan, but was too emotionally driven to speak clearly.  Using ice cream as an excuse didn't make it better though.  He began near the forest and made his way back that way.

(ViiAxel, can Allitt react to what Xadros said about you to Tom?)

"I like your heroic thoughts," Xio appeared behind Jack and folded his arms. "You really are a hero that would save the worlds. Just alot more training and you'd be strong," Xio said as he floated in midair like he was lying on a bed. "Kid, I've got a few things to tell you before you go on your rescue mission," Xio spoke to Jack in an important tone.

Jack pressed on, while listening to Xio on his floating bed.  Whether he'd follow him or not wasn't his concern.  "Yeah?  What would that be?" he entertained Xio as he hacked away at lingering heartless.  A building began to crumble above a family and Jack had to react fast.  He launched a reflect spell towards their direction to save them by mere half seconds, his heart stopping during the whole interaction.

Allitt glanced over at Tom. "By the way, Tom... What was that that Xadros said...?" She asked him, trying to make sure she'd heard it right. "Something about... A crush?" She was a little embarrassed by it.

"Allow me to let you in on a little secret. The people of this town are long dead. Heartless and Nobodies took care of them long before you came. So have no pity. Unless, you don't care WHO'S in distress you'd help them?" Xio tested this young boy. He liked him already.

----------------------------------

Jin and Cait hacked and slashed through Nobodies and made their way to the Black Stonehenge. "Looks like it's sealed by a barrier," Jin said as he charged up. "Overdrive: Attack Mode!" Jin said. Cait Sith charged his index finger. "Thundaga!" Cait shouted as they both attacked the barrier at once but to no avail. "There has to be an easier way," Cait said. Jin thought for a moment. He then put his hand on the barrier. He magically slid right in! "Come on Cait!" Jin yelled back. Cait tried doing the same, but the barrier just wouldn't let him in. "Looks like you're on your own for now!" Cait shouted through the barrier. Jin nodded and looked forward to what was now before him.

"Something you want to share with the class?" Rook asked from behind Xio.

He stalked forward, holding his Keyblade, New Dawn, loosely at his side. A Heartless lunged at him, but he moved quickly and sliced the heartless out of the air.

"Like reasons why, and all that."

Behind Rook, Kasai swung her massive Keyblade around. It moved a little slow, but it destroyed three heartless in an arch in front of her. She and Rook had been a little late getting off the ship because they started talking. They came out to find a battle happening. Rook had charged the Heartless without a second thought and Kasai had found herself only a step behind him.

"You're crazy!" Jack yelled at Xio.  How could he believe such a thing, but then it all became clear.  None of the people were panicking, it was like a normal day for the citizens.  It was against his every being to leave helpless people, but people who won't help themselves are worse.  "Prove it to me then," he turned back, thinking of the idea as more believable than before.

"I cannot prove what your eyes see already. It's hard to take in, but being a hero is never fine and dandy. Learn that well Keyblade Wielder," Xio told Jack. "Yen Sid has gone missing. Your friend is currently ahead trying to follow his tracks. Make sure ya tell the team," Xio told Jack.

Rook narrowed his eyes. What was that about Master Yen Sid?

"How we doing?" Kasai called to Rook.

"Fine." He called back, determined to hear what more Xio had to say.

Jack stood there confused.  "If so, why tell me?" he said, looking at the stranger before him.  "What angle are you playing at?  What do you have to benefit from this?"  Jack jumped up and used another reflect spell to reach a a second floor platform for him to match heights with Xio.  "I have some time, so exp-" before he could finish his sentence, he saw more buildings crumble before people and with natural instinct, he sent another reflect spell their direction.  The people did not flinch from their seemingly disastrous fate.  Were they really illusions?  "I have time, so tell me."

(Question.  Basic spells right?  Someone used thundaga earlier though...)

(Sorry, that was Cait Sith of my party. Since he was a master wizard I thought he was able to do so. But he won't be in my party for long.)

Xio laughed. "That's the only thing I'll tell you now! Why would I make it easy for the heroes!" Xio shouted as he ascended into the sky. "Get stronger like your friend's doing now for the upcoming battle. Or else, you will die. All of you," Xio's last words were heard as he disappeared into the sky with his dark angel wings.

Tom quickly looks away from Allitt and blushes a deep red color on his face. He didn't expect Allitt to ask about the crush. He is very embarrassed by what she asked. He then speaks to her by saying. "Uh, uh, uh.." Said Tom, trying to hide his crush of someone.

Rook ran for the newest building that began to crumble. He'd have to wait to get more answers from Xio later. He began to fear that he wouldn't make it in time, but Jack's Reflect Spell kicked in. Rook stopped at the edge of the building, yelling at the people inside to get out.

Kasai killed a few more Heartless as Rook moved in to help the people in the broken building. She wanted to go help, but something told her she had better be outside, keeping the way clear.

"Heh, tactics." She mused to herself as she hefted her Keyblade to her shoulder.

She looked up and finally noticed the man flying above the city. He looked mad and was carrying a Keyblade.

"Hey, over here!" She called out to the guy.

"Might as well calm him down." She thought, as she brought her Keyblade down for another bout of Heartless.

Okay... I have no idea what I just read... So I'm just gonna break the 4th wall and have my OC disappear for a wile, till you guys get done with the world cause I'm so lost.

"Oh... Brb restarting my comp." Jazz said, to no one in particular, then she disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Tch," was the only utterance Jack could manage to let out as he watched the mysterious person rise up.  He quickly left the ledge where he sat before and also ascended, using his own parlor tricks to reach a good third story level and panned out the view.  Someone else was helping the townspeople  Who was he?  This is interesting.  Jack sees more building crumble before people, three simultaneously.  He sees one near Rook and assumes he can be trusted, using two spells in succession for the other two.  Rushing his casts, he misses the first group of people and the structure crumbles before them.  To his surprise,  the people fade out a bit, as if they were holograms and form the natural colors of what he expected to be real human beings once more.  "He was right..."

Kenji awoke on the gummi ship, looking around. (Sorry guys, what I miss?)

Kenji awoke on the gummi ship, looking around. (Sorry guys, what I miss?)

(We reach Twilight Town, fight Kuja, then Indy and Jack join the team, Xio destroys the clock tower (which destroys part of the town), Indy leaves through a portal, a few people are helping the townsfolk, and Seren flew in -- literally. *inhales deeply* And now Idk what the rest of us are doing. I think we're either gonna leave or help out with the situation in the town.)

Allitt gave Tom a confused look. "Uh... right..." She decided to change the topic before the situation got any worse. "Uh, should we follow Jack, or go on? And what do we do about the Highwind, anyway? There are too many issues..." She asked the others, trying to get input.

"We should go and help Jack," Joel said. "The guys who did this --" Joel gestured at the ruined town "-- were most likely here because of us, so we kinda have to clean up after them. Besides, there are people that need helping. We can't leave them to die." And with that, Joel ran into the town, looking for Jack, and he quickly disappeared from the view of the others.
