Posted August 3, 201312 yr im not asking for the technology but how the pokemon is cought. one of these. 1. pokemon is weakened so that the pokemon does not have the power to reject the pokeball and is forced to join. 2. a pokemon decides that the trainer has earned its respect and is ok with being with it therefor letting the pokeball do its work.
August 3, 201312 yr Either one, or both. It depends on the situation? Rampaging Pokemon are by force, while situations like Zekrom/Reshiram want to earn your respect, so it lets you catch it. (Why it has a high catch rate) Ooh I can't believe I started theorymoaning...
August 3, 201312 yr I thought this was on how the pokeball emits a beam of light that breaks down the cellular components of the pokemon, storing it into the ball, the upon being thrown the beam will reconstruct the pokemon before returning back to the user, using DNA tracking. August 3, 201312 yr Wild Pokémon fights with the trainer to see if he is worthy enough for him/her, and if he/she is beaten then they will get captured and solely train with the trainer to get better. All those Pokémon aren't apparently attacking you because they are wild animals, they just want to be part of your team but they want a strong trainer. Its a theory though. Another way is that after you capture the Pokémon, you have to warm up to them. This is where the "Friendship" mechanic comes in and the moves "Frustration" and "Return". So they don't like you completely at the beginning, but will love you later on the more time you spend with them and the way you treat them. Third way is respect, which happens a lot within the Anime. Edited August 3, 201312 yr by Shana09
August 3, 201312 yr Probably both, the Pokemon is weakened so that it can be captured without escape and over time the Pokemon is just okay with whatever happens and starts to like the trainer.
August 3, 201312 yr I'm not really into pokemon but i guess maybe the pokemon has trust to his trainer therfore he is okay? Ithink the second one is better because if the pokeball weaknd them then they would need some time to gain thier power back? lol i dunno
August 3, 201312 yr the third option i came up with is a bit wierd, slightly sick, but imma go with both of them
