Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, after so many Kingdom Hearts games leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3, I've been thinking a lot about how things will go for Riku and Terra in the end. As we all know, these two individuals fell pawn to Xehanort's ambitions, and while Riku was able to redeem himself for his past sins, Terra remains in Xehanort's clutches. I know that we'd all like to see Sora defeat Xehanort, but that honor belongs to Riku and Terra in particular, since they were used as pawns, and they deserve some payback. It would seem appropriate, but I know that Sora, Roxas and the others have been victims of Xehanort's plotting, so I bet they'll all be pissed. But I strongly believe that Xehanort's defeat at the hands of Riku will complete his path to redemption. It's just a thought though.

Technically since Xehanort ( in whatever incarnation he's in) screws over whoever is in his way, he's got a LOT of people pissed at him . But I would like to see Terra get the final blow tbh. I do think it will end up being a group effort with everyone contributing though.

I'm really not fond of the idea of Riku getting the last shot in. If Riku gets to kill the big bad, then we're right back where we started: Riku is the obvious hero, and Sora is still the sidekick. I really want KH3 to cement the fact that Sora can do things that no one else can. Nobody else seems to be able to get Xehanort, but I want Sora to be the one who does. 

 

As for Terra, I don't think it's fair that he gets to sit out for ten years and then kill-steal at the last second.

I'm really not fond of the idea of Riku getting the last shot in. If Riku gets to kill the big bad, then we're right back where we started: Riku is the obvious hero, and Sora is still the sidekick. I really want KH3 to cement the fact that Sora can do things that no one else can. Nobody else seems to be able to get Xehanort, but I want Sora to be the one who does.

I understand why you think this, but Terra was the one who ended up suffering the most from Xehanort's plans. I wouldn't mind seeing him get the finishing blow.

 

Besides, if Sora really COULD do anything no one else can, i don't think he would've ended up losing so horribly in 3D. But, he is the main protagonist, so you might be right.

But sora did things nobody else did like get a keyblade without it being passed down, having the strength to keep it, and touch people's heart with who he is and not fall off. in 3d end, he only did that because his love for the people he fight for. he's impulsive for his care

Riku got his revenge on Ansem. Ansem is Riku's "arch enemy". I think Xemnas made is personal with Roxas, which is actually Sora, so I suppose Xemnas is Sora's "arch enemy" & then you have the real Xehanort who personally screwed over Aqua, Ven, and especially Terra. I'd say Xehanort is Terra's arch enemy. And Vanitas can be Vens, it is his dark side after all, his inner demon, and I bet he's coming back as a Seeker of Darkness. Aqua is just there to save her friends. Idk where I'm going with this, just rambling....have a nice day.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I think the way this is going to end is like in the opening in 3D, where everyone shoots a beam of light at Xehanort like Sora & Riku did to Xemnas in KH2. It's the only fair way for everyone to get the final blow.

I feel like it should be sora or just a group effort really cause sora was the one who really needed to take the test he had hearts tied to him unlike riku he chose to go to the darkness and don't get me wrong i love riku to im glad he came back and everything and how he decided to be on the side of light and everything i just think sora should do it or the group

So I believe Riku will be the one to finish Ansem SoD off. Terra life was pretty much screwed up by Xehanort, himself. So I believe Terra will get the final blow on him. Also, I think Aqua will be the one to finish Brag/Xigbar, because of what he did in BBS. I think Sora will be the one to finish off Xemnas because of what he did to him and Roxas. Ventus will finish of Vanitas for obvious reasons. And Lea will finish off Isa/Saix, or bring him back to the good side. That is how I think the final battle will go down for each of the characters.

I'm pretty sure Nomura confirmed it will be just Sora and Xehanort in the final battle. I remember reading this in an interview a while back, but it'll be nigh impossible to find...

well I see terra helping in some way but not completely defeating him as for riku I see him defeating him with sora kingdom hearts started with sora being the main heroe and he still is but with the progress of the story the main heroes have become sora and riku they are both the main characters of kingdom hearts(ofcourse sora more) but yea I see sora and riku doing the final blow they are both the main heroes even in bbs is mention in the end of the game wen they are looking at the stars
