Ok I was browsing through the KH Wiki, and I noticed the "Souls" article. It made me wonder, where do people's souls go when they turn into a Heartless and a Nobody. If the soul is still left somewhere, could Xehanort's soul be the "final" form of him that Sora has to fight?

could be it would be cool if it did happen mabye Soras soul created something like that aswell

The soul is a part of a Nobody!

A Nobody is whats left of a person whos heart has been consumed by darkness.

And what is left? The body and the soul...

Heartless = Somebody's heart

Nobody = Somebody's body and soul

Hearts and Souls are the same thing in Kingdom Hearts. Since its partially owned by Disney, they thought it would be "inappropriate" to use souls as what the Heartless take ans what the Nobodies want.

If it's apart of the next KH game, it'd be the perfect time to toss a couple of Soul Eater characters in in Hollow Bastion or something, considering it's a SE property.

Xehanort's nobody wasn't a regular nobody..

 

We don't know exactly WHO'S heart Xemnas was created out of.

 

So it is safe to say that Xehanorts still has some kind of part of his body left, which I believe is MX's soul.

Yes, yes we do. Ansem SoD was created from Xehanort the Apprentice's heart, which was Terra's, Eraqus', and Xehanort's hearts all merged together.

Its not an Absent Silhouette like the org. members, could it be Vanitas's soul. For a soul - in my research - is simply the memories of a person, and some other things.

and about the final battle with xehanort will be with "xeahonort somebody", how i know, beacause in the secret report (nomura's interview) says that when someona hasn't a nobody when you kill a hearless the heart returns to he body, but if you have a nobody the heart goes to KH or becomes another heartless, if the body (nobody) is destroyed and some time pases when you kill the heartless, the heart disapear, but if the "death" of the heartless and the nobdody is near the somebody return. and remember xehanort's heartless "died" just before xenmas (when riku joins to your party in the world that never was) so the possibilities that xehanort returns are actually prety big (and acordin to my theorie that the final boss from kh1 (cant remember the name) are the fusion of the darkness from all ansem aprentices, xigbar could return too)

Dude that question might have answered mine. Maybe the Vanitas sentiment is some form of the new KH enemy, because technically Vanitas WAS a person with a heart full of darkness, so he also had a soul, but no Nobody. It would make perfect sense that his soul was the Sentiment.

If you meant Heaven, there isn't. Nomura has even stated no one truly dies in Kingdom Hearts, their hearts can live on. If your heartless and your nobody are destroyed, your original self will come back to the world of the living.

No problem I just had this feeling I read it somewhere and decided to hunt it down. Vanitas is iffy with me, since

 

 

he's the dark half of Ven's heart

 

 

I'm gonna go check some stuff to see if that incident with Xehanort and Ven pre-BBS is ever elaborated on.
