Am I the only one who got just a little upset with her whole hood up hood down thing?

Yeah I know that when she has her hood up everyone sees her as a faceless puppet and hood down they see her as ventus or sora or someone, I get the point in that.

But that hood thing annoyed the hell out of me for some time

am I the only one?

Actually that hood thing really made me curious? Because I just kept thinking why in almost every scene her hood is on or off from different characters point of view? That's another reason why I was so interesting in Xion because she was so mysterious to me back in 2009.

...I was just thinking she did that to 'hide' from some people o.O;

This makes a lot more sense.

I didn't think she put it up herself.  I think depending on the member she was talking to/in front of they either saw her as a hooded faceless puppet or else Ven or whatever.

This. Maybe Xion has the ability to not show her face to those she doesn't trust.

I'm sure it's the way others see her.  But I never really noticed that while playing the game.

Saix saw her as a faceless puppet.

Xigbar saw her as Ventus.

and Axel saw her as Xion after awhile.

The hood depends on who looks at her. It is the point of view of someone that influences how we the gamer see her for that moment. Her true face was shown to us because Roxas and Axel saw her as Xion. Not an empy puppet.
