August 25, 201312 yr Well if it was satanic, you should care but I don't like it so....I could care less.
August 25, 201312 yr It isnt satanic, but it does carry some very positive messages. Some people will compare anything to satan or such things related to create a bit of drama. Its a pain in the ass, you really cant create anything meaningful without being chastised by people like that who bend the truth to any extent. I'm worried what kind of messages people are going to make up about my comic, it having murderous angels and such in it, even though its all just a big message
August 25, 201312 yr It's understandable when it's the people who are very religious and take their scripture literally, witchcraft is seen as asking for help from anyone other than God, and it's believed anyone apart from their God in their religion is the Devil. "There shall not be found among you....a witch... or a wizard. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD" Over time non-religious people have accepted the idea of White Witches and then Black Witches but a lot of traditionalists will say there is no such thing as a white witch and that they all worship the devil. So in this concept of Harry Potter, where technically the majority of those we see most are using magic for the greater good, the use of magic regardless of the intention (good or bad) is considered an abomination. Which is fair, if that's what they want to believe (personally don't believe in witchcraft at all and personally like fantasy themed movies and dramas), I'll continue being satanic and watching Charmed.

Yeah but you see real world 'witches' and 'wizards' call upon the "spirits" and shit to do what they think they do. The magic in Harry Potter is absolutely nothing like that. The only similarities are the words 'Witch and Wizard" and that's pretty much it.
