It is probable that others have already come up with similar or identical theories, but I thought that this was worth saying.

It is already well-known that there is a link between Sora's name being Japanese for 'sky' and the common quote in the games being that all of the worlds in the KH universe share a sky, meaning that Sora connects all of the worlds together, but what I thought was this: if Sora was to die through his heart being removed from his body and being sent to the Realm of Darkness, or through his heart simply being destroyed, etc., then would all of the Keyblade wielders who are closely connected to him lose the ability to use their Keyblades? Sora has helped to bring so many of the main characters together in some way, so if he disappears, what if there is some sort of catastrophic negative effect like the one that I mentioned?

yeah like above say... could affect just roxas and xion... the other ppl wont be affected

Agree with the above posters.

Also come on, Sora's not THAT much of a Mary-Sue.

I like the explicit interpretation of Sora's name in japanese being the thing that connects all the worlds but I wouldn't read into it anymore then that.

I get the picture, everyone. My theory does not make sense. It does not need any more attention.

Yeah, it didnt make sense considering the events.
