Cyberbullying (kinda :/)

Posted

Yeah so i've got a really serious problem and i need to talk it out

Yesterday i was checking my late night notifications on facebook when i saw a status that was funny so i commented. The girl that wrote the status is not a really good friend of me i just know her. So yeah then everyone started commentig and i was filling up wuth notifications. They were posting stupid things and i asked them to stop (my first mistake). Then a boy popped out of nowhere and said something offensive, and i replied backi with something more offensive, something really harsh (my second mistake) and i'm still regreting it. Then another one popped up and told me that he will hit me really hard and the other one continued that he would f*ck me. Regreted of what i just did i deleted my posts but then they started adding me as friend and started commenting on my profile picture. I asked the girl that wrote the status if she knows them and she told me that she know him and he is serious that he will hit me! My parents adviced me to lie and tell him that i have been hacked (third and worst mistake!). But anyway sunce they are my parents i told him but he didn't believe me and he says that he will find me! I'm scared i know i caused this but i really need help guys please?:(

I was saying, that since it is a small town, chances are their are 2 extreme reactions they could have. (they could just not care as well) Firstly they could be mad at you because the people didn't think he (or his group) deserved what ever punishment he would get from the legal system.  Or they could be happy saying finally that hooligan is off the streets. And now some people might like you more.Though I feel the most likely course would just be people being mostly indifferent to it if you need to go to the cops.

Sure thing is that i will not go to the cops. I'm just worried

Oh crud. I'm on Facebook, and i hope that guy doesn't come to me. Luckily, i won't do anything to make him mad at me.

Don't worry. She's bluffing. Just block her on facebook. It's simple. Lol

Sounds like someone should be permanently banned.

Ignore facebook that happens to me too! I usualy just block them if they bother me. Face book has a lot of drama and i try to get away of it as possible.

I might sound like i'm joking but yo should tell somebody you trust to stand next to you. And that "person" comes near you.....

END HIM!

Fool. Try to get him to give you a time and place of when he is going to hit you. That is enough information for either the school or police to step in.

I bet they are just trying to get a rise out of you.  No one "Goes around with their gang and beats people up" without a reason unless they are just truly sadistic pieces of shit.  I think you are over-thinking the situation, though I've only heard your side of the story so I can't say for sure.  If you stopped commenting I guarantee they will forget you even said anything in a matter of days.  I highly doubt they are going to deliberately seek you out with the intent to hurt you because of a facebook comment, that just sounds ridiculous when you really think about it.  Best advice I can give?  Forget about it.

Don't worry...their all idiots...they want to feel surperior than everyone else...their typical adolescents...unlike us who are very different from regular teenagers

Dude, it's the internet calm down.

Just block him. One click and he's out of your life forever.

Be careful, very careful. I suggest reporting him and blocking him immediately, and make your account secure so that not just anyone can talk to you on there.
