So, lately, more than usual, I've been seeing a lot of "fans" (not on this site) saying stuff like "Is it KH 3? No? Then I don't care. Every other game is dead to me." That's actually almost word for word. And I see stuff like this almost on a daily basis. Shit like this really pisses me off. I'm beyond glad that they won't have a CLUE what they're playing once it comes out. They get what they deserve.

 

Brace yourselves. The "what's going on?!!? " complaints are coming.

The only game that is close to being unimportant is Re: Coded. The rest are just as important as the numbered titles.

While I have tried my best to understand the story in the year that I have been interested in the series, I will not give myself the title of 'fan' until I have fully learned the story of the series. I have paid attention to all of the titles, but I still always have questions that need to be asked.

You are one of the most hardcore fans of KH by what you just stated. I give you gratz.

It matters to understand the story as a whole, which is basically the entire point of the game...The entire point of the series at that.

I'll admit I have only played the numbered titles on the PS2 but I have watched the cutscenes of the handhelds. Though personally, those "fans" can say whatever they want because in the end they're the lost ones. Hehe

Dude I know the whole story frontwards, backwards and side to side. If you need anything cleared up, I'd be a good person to ask.

WAY too many...I'd say a good 10-20% of the whole fanbase, it seems. I see people complaining about the "spinoffs" all the time as well. I even met someone IRL like that. We both knew eachother liked KH, and right before BBS came out, I was like, "dude, KHBBS is almost out. It looks awesome!" Him: "Oh I just can't wait til KH3."

Fool. We're talking about Kingdom Hearts Fans in general. To some fans, the story isn't the most important thing. There  are many aspects of this game that make it good and many aspects about it that people like.

I own them all. "Spin offs" are just as important to the story. I love BBS, CoM, and 3D. Days is pretty good & Coded is fun, but they're all amazing. I hate when people say these games are not important just because they aren't numbered titles...sad, they're missing out.

i agree like with kh2 they did the little scenes of com all though i didnt play com i caught the gist of what was going on

Yep, pretty much. And when you think about it, even Coded is a bit important because it sets the stage for the "sleeping memories" and adds a bit more to how Sora's heart is linked to all those characters... That moment when you notice that MasterXemnas only knows one insult...
