Because the hearts of Roxas and Xion are currently inside Sora's heart, what I think is that there could be a way for their hearts to be extracted from Sora's, and then Lea will be able to give Roxas a physical form, due to the fact that he grew a strong connection to him and has the most memories of being with Roxas (I assume). As for Xion, I am guessing that either Roxas, Lea or Riku could return her to her physical form with their memories of her; if there was some way for their memories of her to return first.

This theory makes some sense, because Sora and Riku growing bonds with the TWEWY cast returned them to a full existence (if I remember correctly), which is similar to this. Another occurrence in the series that goes in accordance to this is the fact that Roxas was able to see Kairi in the way that he remembered her; which was as Namine.

I would appreciate any opinions or corrections on the subject.

 

Edit: I just realised that all of this is based on what will almost certainly happen in KHIII, so it is probably best to call this an explanation rather than a theory.

Ya know, I love hearing peoples thoughts, even if its said more than once, because people always mix it up just a bit, and it makes me think about how touching and emotional the KH3 story will be, and I love it.

Well, no. That is why I mentioned Namine and Roxas; they will be seen the way others remember them, and so their appearance will not change when they return.

Well, that would sort of defeat the purpose of what KHIII will partially be about. Xion and Roxas are their own people, and so they will both return and look exactly how they did when they still had visible forms. Ventus and Roxas are two different people. Even if Roxas and Ventus will be identical if they exist at the same time, this will not be particularly important.

If other people used there memories of them to return them to there physical forms they would probably be put into a coma like state. At the same time, Roxas and Xion are apart of Sora. Returning them to there former selves would most likely cost Sora dearly, effectively putting him back into a coma like state. Also, Xion didn't have a heart. When someone dies there heart is released. When Xion died no heart was released. Another reason it is unlikely is because there can only be seven guardians of light. They have already been listed. They are Sora, Riku, Mickey, Kiari, Lea, Aqua, and Ventus. My opinions on this matter are based on my personal theories and my knowledge of Kingdom Hearts.

You are not entirely correct. Xion did have a heart; it was practically confirmed in DDD. Also, the seven guardians of light have not been confirmed yet, and I do not see how people using their memories to return Roxas and Xion to their original forms would put them in a coma. Xion and Roxas were their own people; separate from Sora, and so if they are returned, this will not negatively effect Sora.

I have a theory too. I think the data Ansem put into Sora and gave to Riku (in 3D) is how to extract hearts and create artificial bodies for these hearts (as Roxas' body is Sora's so he can't take that one meaning he'll need a body as host).

Here's something to think about. Does Roxas remember Xion? Cause in DDD, he shed a tear when he saw Xion and i have my doubts it was cause Sora himself was upset....Food for thought.
