Camp Half-blood is in danger!Although the movie was more faithful to the source material than the first film, critics game it a lower score. Although fans liked it better than the first, at this point it has only made half the profit of the First. As it is out of theaters it must now rely on international numbers just to match the profit of the first. Unlike the Potter movies, they are looking at the numbers of each movie individually before moving on. Narnia did this and stopped at the third movie. That means, if Titans Curse does not exceed expectations, it could be the end of Camp Half-Blood in movie format. I love these movies, if it weren't for them, I would have never heard about the books. I would like to see the movies continue even beyond the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and into the Heroes of Olympus sequel series. They want the movie in theaters by October 2015. If you're a fan go see it!As for me, I think I'm gonna buy the Blu-rays when Sea of Monsters comes out.
