I woke up, picking myself up off of the hard pavement. "Why was I sleeping in the Scramble Crossing...?" I asked, looking around. "Oh, right... The Reapers." I looked around my surroudings, trying to get my thoughts straight. So, I definitely died the other day when that car hit me... I thought that that was where I'd appear, though... Now I have to compete in the Games... And I need a partner... I'd only hold back people, though... Is it even worth trying? I thought to myself. I walked around, trying to possibly find someone, anyone who looked like they were in the game. I didn't want to cause anyone to be erased, but there was probably someone who needed a partner like me...

"Huh? Uh...yeah! I got some pins! Kinda weird, using pins for combat...though nothing makes sense anyways!"  Arch pulled out a couple of pins from his pocket. The first one had a slashing symbol on it, almost like a sword. The second one was an energy bullet of sorts. "Then of course, this one!" He then pulled out the Player Pin, the skull-marked one. "Pretty creative, I'll give it to the Reaper's. Pins...combat...all cool and good! As long as we survive, don't get killed by the Noise, and we both make it through the Game, we'll be alright! So, do you know your way around Shibuya well? I come from Udagawa, and usually only come to Shibuya for work!"

"Hmm... Using pins to fight? Now that's interesting." Roy stared at the pins in his hand. One had a bunch of lightning bolts, and the other had... well, he wasn't sure what it was, but he hoped it was good. The third one was a Player Pin, the same as Arch's. He pocketed the pins and turned back to Arch. "Sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with this area either. But I can at least get us to 10-4." I hope. "Anyway, let's get moving," he said, heading off in the direction of Scramble Crossing.

Cloud looked at his pins. "We use these to fight, ok then, lemme try." He grabbed the pryokenesis pin and pointed it at one of the noise, causing it to combust and disentigrate. "WOAH! That is some powerful stuff. But HOW THE HELL DOES THIS WORK? Its like magic or something." He looked around and noticed some of the other players were gone. "Hey, WHERE DID THOSE GUYS GO?"

I managed to keep up with Ren, despite his fast walking. "We're almost there..." I said, hoping to get this over with quickly. "Wh-what are those!?" I exclaimed, noticing a group of weird techno-frogs approaching us. I looked over to where Ren was, noticing he wasn't there. I still felt his presence though, as though he was invisible... "Ren, are you there?" I asked aloud, hoping he would hear. I noticed that there were a couple pins in my pocket... "These are those Psychs, right...?" I asked myself. One had a fire symbol on it, and the other had what looked similar to a sword. I pointed towards one of the creatures, and imagined it igniting in flames. Sure enough, flames burst where it was, damaging it and Erasing it. "So that's how you fight here..." (COMBAT IN THE UG: When encountered by Noise, the Players are sent into two separate realms, both of which are occupied by the same Noise. These realms are close enough for communication to occur between partners, and thoughts can be shared. Noise share health between realms, and so do Players. Power is also shared between realms. Eliminate Noise in one realm to destroy it in the next! Once all Noise have been erased, the battle will end!)

Ren could hear, but not see Harkua, she seemed to desert him once the monsters appeared, but he could still feel her presence. "What do I say? Well... Maybe if I can try saying something..." Ren sputtered out a weak "present" before contenuing with the task at hand. He pulled out the Slash Pin, almost as if by need, and charged at the mechanical frogs. Slashing at them best he could, he tried channeling the power of the pin into his swipes at the creature, but to no avail. "How do you use these things? Ren wondered, but he said what he was thinking by accident.

"One, two,...., five....." Keith began to count the fallen souls catched by the Noise summoned by him. "Well if numbers are right i´ll reach my quota in no ti... huh?"

He said as saw two getting into combat, exactly one of the two pair he saw before.... "Hehehhe... things will become more interesting this week.... Mmmm I wonder how Phi and Reika Will be doing.... If I don´t hurry up i´ll lose this week bet." He said while seeing the action on the crossing.

" Awww crap, dude: Where'd ya go?'

Convieantly, the techno colour frogs appeared then, hopping towards him in a very menacing manor.

(You´re fighting, so as you are facing Noises your partner will vanish into a parallel dimension to fight the same noise. If both of you defeat the Noise in both planes, the noise is erased, then both of you return to the normal plane. At least that´s how it works. In a nutshell: You fight alone, your partner fight alone, but in fact you are working as a team to defeat one noise. )

"Gaah!" Was all Ren could say, just then realising he had said that aloud. "T-thanks..." Ren muttered, he then focused all his mental power and slashed at the frog-like thing, this time, actually successfully cutting through it in a single swipe.

"No problem, did you get it?" I asked him, igniting another two, slowly whittling down their vitality so that Ren could finish off the last of them.

Cloud continued making the noise combust, when he got him by 2 of them. "GAH!!" He kneeled down. "Man those hurt alot! Maybe i should try this other pin and see what it does, it could help me." Cloud used the healing pin and a green light enveloped him, restoring him to full health. "Wow, that works WONDERS!"

Roy placed a hand on his chest, where his heart would be. "This," he said. "was my entry fee. I guess with being dead and all, you don't need a heart to pump blood through your body. But as for the emotional part... It's weird... I don't feel anything. It's just.. empty..."

As Roy spoke, he noticed shadows dancing out of the corner of his eye. He stopped walking. "What was that?" he asked. Suddenly, a wolf-like creature lunged at him out of nowhere. Roy barely managed to duck to avoid the attack. No one else paid any attention to what was going on. But that was to be expected.

People in the RG couldn't see Noise.

A Reaper stood near the statue of Hachiko, watching the two Players battle a wolf-like Noise. "I have to go test out everyone who comes here... No one ever comes by the statue... I was about to leave and get a burger, but these two showed up, and now I've gotta wait for them to finish... Man, I'm hungry." He muttered, inaudible to the two Players nearby.

(Enemies can drop money pins, and some attack pins on occassion. However, the attack pins must fit in to a character's psychs, since most people can't use all Psychs.)

The frogs died, melting into squishy blobs of muck that ran away inot the gutter.

Several pins dropped, glinting faintly.

Roxas picked them up: the spoils of war, money.

Midori was running out of time.

 

Damn it, she wasted so much time wandering aimlessly around the Scramble Crossing, and by now everyone formed a Pact with someone else so they could keep playing this game. The stragglers were already getting erased, and if she didn't hurry, she was going to be down and out before she even got started.

 

And she was just too damn important to lose on the first day. No, that wouldn't happen. That couldn't happen to the Terrific Tachibana; it was impossible.

 

Somehow Midori found herself running into Hachiko Square, managing to evade the onslaught of Noise targeting everyone else. If she didn't hurry...

 

She huffed and puffed, taking a moment to scan the crowd gathered in the park for anyone who she could strong-arm into making a Pact with her.

 

There had to be someone left.

Lyon began to run across the mass of people on the Scramble Crossing, he was running away of the Game enemies; the Noise, without a partner to form a pact he will be nothing but dust. 

" How did I get stuck into this!!?" "Someone!" Anyone!" He yelled as he looked for someone still alone, a player. 

Then the miracle happened. He heard a female voice shouting as she was running too. That was the change...

 

"You Hurry up here!!! Lyon shouted at the girl, as he was trying to avoid the hits of the creatures.

(Sorry for not posting, got sidetracked)Ren gave a small, almost musical hum as a responce as he slashed through the body's of the Noise, killing them.

Cloud took care of the last noise, and they dropped money pins. He picked them up. "Huh, it has a dollar symbol on it. Weird."
