I woke up, picking myself up off of the hard pavement. "Why was I sleeping in the Scramble Crossing...?" I asked, looking around. "Oh, right... The Reapers." I looked around my surroudings, trying to get my thoughts straight. So, I definitely died the other day when that car hit me... I thought that that was where I'd appear, though... Now I have to compete in the Games... And I need a partner... I'd only hold back people, though... Is it even worth trying? I thought to myself. I walked around, trying to possibly find someone, anyone who looked like they were in the game. I didn't want to cause anyone to be erased, but there was probably someone who needed a partner like me...

"Why... WHY!!!?" 

"Why i´m stuck here!? Someone! can someone see me??!! "

Lyon began to run across the mass of people on the Scramble Crossing, he was running away of the Game enemies; the Noise, without a partner to form a pact he will be nothing but dust. 

" How did I get stuck into this!!?" "Someone!" Anyone!" He yelled as he looked for someone still alone, a player. 

Then the miracle happened. He heard a female voice shouting as she was running too. That was the change...

 

"You Hurry up here!!! Lyon shouted at the girl, as he was trying to avoid the hits of the creatures.

 

And just like that, Midori's prayers were answered.

 

She turned around to the person shouting at her. It was a boy about her age; maybe a bit older, but it couldn't be by that much. He didn't look like someone who could for sure hold his own weight, but he was in the same boat as her and that was good enough.

 

And now wasn't the time to bite the hand that fed her; some of those demon frogs spawned right behind her. Without a second to lose, Midori raced towards the boy and screamed, "I WANT TO MAKE A PACT WITH YOU!"

 

She could only focus on the adrenaline coursing through her veins and the deafening drum of her heartbeat.

"Hear ya loud and clear!" Roy called out to his unseen partner. He pulled out a pin; it was the one with the strange design.

"Well, let's see what this baby does," he said to himself. Roy channeled his energy into the pin, and in turn, he felt a new energy envelop him. Now what do I do?

Just then the Noise lunged, and Roy dashed out of harm's way. As he did this, he noticed that he was surrounded by an... aura, of sorts, during the dash. Hm, so that's what it does. Roy dashed again, this time toward his foe. He crashed into the Noise and sent it flying into the air. As in fell, he dashed into it again. He then pulled out his lighting-adorned pin, and imagining lightning, summoned a lightning bolt that struck down his opponent.

"Now! Finish it off, Arch!" Roy shouted.

"Right away, sir!" He took out his slashing pin of sorts, ran up to the Noise, imagining wielding a sword. Just like that, the wolf cut clear in two. "Alright! Win win!" He put his pins away as he noticed the pins on the ground, and picked them up. They had Yen symbols on them. "Oh, hey, sweet! Money!" Shortly after, he put the pins into his pocket, and got teleported back from the, as he didn't know what else to call it, the 'Fight Realm', shortly after Roy. "Hey, Roy, ya feeling alright? Ya hurt?"

"Right away, sir!" He took out his slashing pin of sorts, ran up to the Noise, imagining wielding a sword. Just like that, the wolf cut clear in two. "Alright! Win win!" Roy returned to the UG at the same time Arch did. "Was the 'sir' really necessary? We're partners, which means we're equal."

When Arch asked if he was hurt, Roy replied, "Nah, I'm fine. Looks like you're alright as well. We did pretty well for our first battle."

He then turned to the direction of the 10-4 building. Pointing it out, he said, "Look! There's our destination. Come on!"

"Right away, sir!" He took out his slashing pin of sorts, ran up to the Noise, imagining wielding a sword. Just like that, the wolf cut clear in two. "Alright! Win win!" He put his pins away as he noticed the pins on the ground, and picked them up. They had Yen symbols on them. "Oh, hey, sweet! Money!" (Sorry for not posting, got sidetracked)Ren gave a small, almost musical hum as a responce as he slashed through the body's of the Noise, killing them.

"Alright!" I shouted, something really unusual for me. Of course, everything about the game was unusual... I noticed a few pins with Yen signs on them drop from the enemies. "I guess this is what we can use for currency..." I muttered. Suddenly, I turned to see Ren next to me. "Whoa, when did you get there?" I asked him, then realized that it was likely because we'd defeated the Noise in the area.

(Everyone's made their official pacts except both of your groups [They technically shouldn't be able to fight until they do that, but I'll let that slide this once since I forgot to explain that], and all the groups who were attacked by Noise just finished their battles. Upon defeating the Noise, invisible walls dividing areas in Shibuya opened up, now allowing access to 10-4.)

Suddenly Arch saw a suspicious figure and ran off. Well then. Roy followed.

The man said that they could pass and left.

"...Who was that guy? A Reaper?" Roy quickly pushed the thought away. He turned to Arch and said, "Good job picking him out in the crowd. Now we can continue to 10-4, hopefully without any hindrances."

And just like that, Midori's prayers were answered.

"Hey! you alright?" He asked while trying to recover his breath.

"Looks like they made up... Geez... " Keith said as he looked the dow crossing the barrier over 104. "Good bye to my lunch, I suposse.... I will have to make them pay for it." He said while walking to the same direction as them.

Walking from the wall, Hageshi decided to see what kinds of things he could do for fun in this big new world he was thrust into. He threw his now finished cigarette on the ground and crushed it under its shoe.

 

"If I came to this place, then others must have too. I wonder if they'll make good punching bags..." he snickered to himself, walking casually down the street with his hands in his pockets.

(Also, it's just now that I learn that our timezones are greatly differing. Though it doesn't seem to be that much of a hindrance. Ah well, thought I should bring it up.)

"I also can no longer feel emotions. I guess... emotions are tied to the actual heart? I actually have no idea... This stuff is just as new to me as it is to you." 

Then the two reached Scramble Crossing. Deciding to change the subject, Roy asked, "Hey Arch, don't you think it's a bit weird that we haven't come across any other Players? We've seen a Reaper and some Noise, but no Players..."

I suggested, heading towards the building in the distance. However, before we could make it, an invisible wall seemed to bounce me back. "Ow! What was that...?" I asked, looking around the area. "We can't get through... We're doomed... I should've known I'd go down like this." I muttered, collapsing to the ground in defeat.
