I woke up, picking myself up off of the hard pavement. "Why was I sleeping in the Scramble Crossing...?" I asked, looking around. "Oh, right... The Reapers." I looked around my surroudings, trying to get my thoughts straight. So, I definitely died the other day when that car hit me... I thought that that was where I'd appear, though... Now I have to compete in the Games... And I need a partner... I'd only hold back people, though... Is it even worth trying? I thought to myself. I walked around, trying to possibly find someone, anyone who looked like they were in the game. I didn't want to cause anyone to be erased, but there was probably someone who needed a partner like me...

(Hmm, now that you mention it... Oh well.)

As the two walked to 10-4, Roy answered Arch's question. "Well, it's pretty weird. My fee was my heart -- literally and emotionally." He placed his hand on his chest. "I have no pulse. Although with being dead and all, I guess it doesn't matter too much."

"I also can no longer feel emotions. I guess... emotions are tied to the actual heart? I actually have no idea... This stuff is just as new to me as it is to you."

Then the two reached Scramble Crossing. Deciding to change the subject, Roy asked, "Hey Arch, don't you think it's a bit weird that we haven't come across any other Players? We've seen a Reaper and some Noise, but no Players..."

"Well, we know that they're around here somewhere. They could just blend in to the background, and we've seen them already. Or they could dead already, but what are the chances of that?" Arch looked around a bit, trying to see if anyone looked suspicious enough. "Hmm...can't see anyone right now. Yeah, they probably just blend in. Now, since we've cleared that pessimism out of the way, how do you sell these?" He pulled out the pins with the yen symbols on them. "You think we could exchange them for money, or what?"

" Well... THAT was a thing." Roxas said, as reality shifted around him.

Turning to Cloud when everything had settled, he smirked.

" We definatly need that partnership. "

( See? I responded. I keep my promises sometimes.)

"Probably not..." He said, as a responce to both questions. "Reapers aren't too... Plesent... But if we tell him, a barrier is in the way, he may be in a good enough mood..." Ren muttered. This was the most he's ever spoken, and it was draining him quite quickly.

"Well, maybe he'll be nice... Or he'll murder us both on the spot... Or even torture us before doing so..." I listed off all the possible outcomes of trying to communicate, and it seemed like a worse and worse idea each time. However, I noticed that he was watching the two of us. "Oh... He already sees us, we might not have a choice..." I stood back up and walked over to him. "Um... Do you know what to do about this... wall... thing?" I asked, and braced myself for his attack.

"... Objective met. Wall clear!" He announced, and disappeared. I looked back at where he stood.

"Well, that wasn't nearly as bad as I'd thought it would be... But what did he mean, anyway?" I asked, trying to feel for the wall again. I ended up reaching too far and losing my balance for a second. "It's gone..." I told my partner. "Well, I guess we made it, then... Let's go." I began to walk towards the 10-4 building, hoping that my partner would follow me.

Ren sighed and followed. "Now we have objectives, too. Dang. Oh, well, I guess." He thought, following his partner to the destination at due pace. They should arrive soon.

"Hmmm... dunno. I say we worry about that once the mission's cleared. Hopefully someone has figured it out and would be willing to tell the rest of us."

"Look, we're almost there," Roy commented. He then turned to Arch, gave him the best fake smile he could give, and said, "Wanna race?"

(Slayer, you brought up an important point. Blaxel, how're we gonna exchange pins for cash? Dump 'em in the trash can? With the Phone Menu? Are we even using the Phone Menu? [insert other related questions here])

"...Even though I know you're faking that smile, sure!" He starts running to the big building, towering above all others, which he assumes is 10-4. "Last one there owes the other 100 Yen!"

(I was thinking just crushing them. Literally, crushing them like with your hand or stomping on them.)

(Hmm.... I would imagine that it would be similar to as it is in the game, but you never know. We'll see what Black Star has to say on the matter.)

Roy and Arch raced through the crowds toward 10-4. Maybe it was because he was dead, but Roy felt that he was in pretty good condition. Arch was as well; the two were neck-and-neck. Hmm... If I'm gonna win this race, I need a boost. He remembered the Velocity Attack pin in his pocket. Roy wasn't sure if using it would actually increase his speed, but it was worth a shot. He tried activating it and dashed (while already running xD). Nothing. No aura. No speed boost. Nothing.

Roy stopped for a moment. "My pin isn't working." He pulled out his Thunderbolt pin. He tried to summon a lightning bolt, directing it toward a tree, but again, nothing happened.

"Okay, now neither of my pins are working." Roy turned to his partner. "Arch, are your pins working?"

Arch stopped for a quick second. "Huh? Uh..." He grabs out his bullet pin, and points it out, trying to shoot, but with no success. "Nope. Nuh-uh. Nothin'. Maybe we can only use them against the noise. Makes sense, though. I mean, how would it work, the dead being able to shoot lightning or bullets on the real world. And even if it did work, then that'd cause a lot of chaos, wouldn't it?" This is probably the most logical Arch has ever been since the game started. He is good at thinking in dangerous situations, case in point, the fight of their lives.

"Huh? Well, alright!" He runs up ahead a little bit, in front of the 10-4 building. "And now you owe me 100 Yen! And a mission complete!" Then, the timer on their hands disappeared, after the mission complete(EBA reference, anyone?). "Well, pressure gone and done and all...until tomorrow! And I don't think I see anyone else around here...HEY, IF ANYONE ELSE IS A PLAYER, COULD YA YELL LIKE I AM?"

(And, for the record, we were the first ones to get done, when we were some of the last few to join the RP. Irony FTW!)

"You were serious about the 100 Yen thing? ...Fine. Here's your prize." Roy fished out a 100 Yen pin from his pocket and tossed it to Arch.

"And now we wait...."

(About the questions for the Yen, I like the idea of crushing them since we don't really have a virtual trash can to dump them into. xD)

We arrived at 10-4, with plenty of time left to spare. The timer on my hand suddenly disappeared, making me sigh in relief. "Looks like that's over with... I guess I managed to get lucky enough to survive day one." I sat against the wall of the building, happy to have made it through the first day alive.

"HEY, IF ANYONE ELSE IS A PLAYER, COULD YA YELL LIKE I AM?" I heard a shout over the busy noise of Shibuya's streets.

"Uh... Do we let them know, or not...? It could be a Reaper trying to trick us... Or someone trying to eliminate their competition..." I asked Ren, nervous about the situation.

"Not luck... Skill..." Ren muttered, this time only audiable to himself. He then heard yelling. "Keep quiet. People aren't trustworthy, even in death..." He said, exhaustion from social interaction draining him too much.

"Okay..." I muttered in response to Ren, knowing he was probably correct. Of course, he also made me wonder... Does he even think I'm not trustworthy...? I thought to myself, avoiding asking him out loud. I didn't want to risk angering him or making the situation any worse.

Roxas sighed; " Is every damn battle gonna be like that?"

He said to Cloud, the faint hot breeze rushing through the trees whipping his overlong blonde hair into his eyes, as he waited for a response.

Cloud arrived at the mall at 10-4 with Roxas. He heard someone yell, "HEY, IF ANYONE ELSE IS A PLAYER, COULD YA YELL LIKE I AM?" Cloud responded as loud as he could. "I'M A PLAYER HERE TOO, WHERE ARE YOU?"

Lyon-

I looked at the girl, what we just faced off in just a moment was something that I´d never thought as possible. She was tired of running... but the strange creatures were still there. I pulled out one of the pins they gave us that day, if we were to survive we needed to defend ourselves.

"Alright then... think you can handle this? " I said to the girl as then I tried to focus on the Noise. However just when I realize it, the creatures vanished as if something called off them. Then I checked my hand, the timer that was there before was not anymore....

"What the??"

Keith-

Mmmm so they completed their mission already? Interesting...... Well what should I do now?... attack them or ..." Keith was saying as walking to the crew on 104... but then he noticed something .... [Mmmmm... must be that new guy..... Hageshi I think it was.... looks like he´s getting into his job already....] he thought as he was close to the dou he saw before, that girl in beige clothes as well that guy.....[Time to play...]

I sighed. "Was that the kid from earlier...? I guess he made it, too... Hopefully he doesn't fall into any traps or anything..." I muttered, hoping the people who I'd met before would be safe.

Roy's ears perked up when he heard someone shouting back. "A response already? Looks like everyone's starting to trickle in... C'mon Arch, let's go meet some of our fellow Players." With that, Roy headed into the direction of the voice.

Arch started to follow Roy, and eventually the two ran into the two players, Cloud and Roxas. "So, uh...are you two the ones responding to my call? If so, OH MY GOD THAT'S A RELIEF! If not, then DIE REAPERS! But your probably players nonetheless, hmm?" He started speaking in a weird sort of way. He gets like this under certain situations, but it usually doesn't last long.

"What the??"

After taking a few moments to settle her cough, Midori happened to catch a glace at the palm of her hand. Her eyes furrowed at the sight - the timer that was there not ten minutes ago disappeared. She checked her other hand to make sure she wasn't mistaken. Nope. The timer was just straight up gone.

"That text...," she mouthed to herself.

Midori straightened herself and pulled out her cell phone, flipping through the menus until she came to the last text she received. "Go to 10-4... 60 minutes... blah blah blah erasure" After she had it the first time, the timer appeared on her palm. But, why was it gone now? They weren't even in the vicinity of the 10-4 building...unless...

She smirked and put her phone away. "I hope you're not an overachiever or something; I think someone beat us to the mission."

Reika was just exiting 10-4, with no shopping bags in hand. "This day is just uninteresting as always... I really hope we have players who know how to survive this game..." she says with a sigh. "Hm?" she looks up and sees a boy who has light brown skin, and a girl who looks somewhat emo. "Well ain't these two strange together," she says with a blank expression. 'Hmmmm...maybe I'll see what the other reapers do and see if any of them do anything reckless' she thought to herself as she crosses her arms and leans onto a wall looking at the players.

After walking for what seem like days, Hageshi finally seemed to come upon something of interest. Looking up, cigarette in mouth, he saw a big building with the letters "10-4" on it.

"Hmm... seems like some kind of mall," he said to himself, observing the building further. He quickly disposed on his cigarette and mushed it into he ground with his shoe. "Might as well see what's up with this place..."

The young thug said no more and eased his way towards the mall and inside its doors...
