The walls that divide the worlds...?

Posted

Leon mentioned to Sora near the end that they would return to divide the worlds once he seals the final Key Hole and restores most of the worlds again, yet that never happened, and to my knowledge (please correct me if I'm forgetting something), was never explained why not.

Why were tons of heartless left to keep the walls down? Was it the organization's doing?

And with Sora killing Xehanort in KH3, do you think these walls will return, separating the worlds once more?

Though on second thought, since the series has to continue, it'll probably happen in the final game of the series and that's how they'll have an excuse to not make any more games.

But I totally forgot about these walls because they were never mentioned after KH1. It made me think...

The walls were mentioned in kh2 at Yen Sid's tower. It is explained that the worlds set up certain doors so that they may pass through now that walls divided the worlds. This was also what the gummi ship missions were based on in kh2.

Oh wow. Yeah it's been a few years since I played KH2.

I guess Leon and Aerith were wrong, then.

Fool. They were right. All the connections were sealed up. That's why Sora and co.  had to retravel through gates and open them up.

That is what you get if you start on proud.. You need to train a little while.

I'm thinking to start this with evening or midday.

Nomura (I believe) has stated that KH3 will be the end of what he refers to as the Xehanort Saga.  He said that there will be future installments after KH3, so no, Kingdom Hearts shouldn't be ending after KH3.

Irrelevant comment is irrelevant.

What are you even talking about?

I meant wrong in the sense that they wouldn't be able to travel through them at all once they were back. They said that once the walls were up it would be impossible.

lol np.

The walls were put up again after Sora beat Xehanort's heartless and sealed the door to Kingdom Hearts. That's why in KH2 you have to reunlock the doors to worlds that you've already been to like Olympus Coliseum, Hollow Bastion, and Atlantica. So it did happened just not immediately after he sealed the keyhole

At first glance it does kind of seem like you are saying KH3 is the end of the series lol.

Yeah I guess I should have worded it a little differently.
