How "His World" applies to Kingdom Hearts

Posted

Because my similar thread failed to impress, I am going to try to make this slightly more interesting for any readers.

The Sonic 06 song "His World" (Crush 40 version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnKb6GZcnLg contains some parts that reference events that occurred in the game, but I am going to try to use some of the song's lyrics and make them apply to the Kingdom Hearts series.

Here they are:

"Beware of the time as it moves along"-Threats becoming more dangerous as time passes in the series.

"He's the fire, flame, conflicting pain"-Axel/Lea

"Untouched, uncrushed, and will remain"-Sora and Riku braving the threats that have faced them without giving in.

"The one, the two, the three, the four"-Sora being "one"; Ventus, Roxas and Xion being the other three; they would not have been alive currently without Sora.

"Headed straight for an open door"-Sora going to the Disney worlds in the first game to lock the doors to the hearts of the worlds.

"Never fear the fall"-Riku no longer being afraid of the darkness.

"Beware of your mind as it proves you wrong"-Sora and Riku thinking that Ansem SoD and Xemnas could not have returned in DDD, yet they did.

"He's the tower, power, admits no shame"-Master Xehanort

That is all I can deduce.

Ok....

"Contains parts that reference the game[...]" I highly doubt that they were trying to reference KH with this song, especially the events which hadn't even occurred at the time... This is just overlooking for similarities. :/ It's all a coincidence.

Coincide? I THINK SO!

Where's the dislike button? Please don't associate that shitty song with Kingdom Hearts

And Crush 40 should be ashamed for covering that awful song

Why are you trying to compare that song to Kingdom Hearts? Did I miss something?

I meant Sonic 2006. Why would I think that the song was trying to reference Kingdom Hearts?

They were a lot better than Zebrahead. If you are going to state your opinion, then please do not be so hostile about it.

You never specifically stated it was referencing that, you left it kinda vague...

Why did you jump to the conclusion that I thought that the song was referencing Kingdom Hearts? That makes no sense.

Because you're saying it applies to KH, and you never said what it was referencing. It seemed safe to assume you meant KH since you're trying to compare it to that.

That makes no sense. Why would I think that a song in an unrelated game series was referencing Kingdom Hearts? I was comparing the game's lyrics to Kingdom Hearts because they (coincidentally) can be applied to the series.

Coincide? I THINK SO!

That was the point.

I did not come here to be insulted.

It might not make sense to you, but if you don't really make it specific and state it vaguely, it made no sense to me. I can get most things that aren't explicitly stated, so it isn't that. You left it too general while talking about two different things. You don't need to keep giving me the same "That makes no sense." thing, it could make sense to someone else easily.

I wasnt trying to insult you. Why would I do that? I was truly asking you and curious as why you were comparing the song to Kingdom Hearts and wondering if I missed something, like if you said you were doing it for a project or if you just thought it was something fun to do. Im sorry if you took offense to my comment, i wasnt trying to offend you, just making an inquiry.

What I said was "The Sonic 06 song "His World" (Crush 40 version) contains some parts that reference events that occurred in the game, but I am going to try to use some of the song's lyrics and make them apply to the Kingdom Hearts series". That clearly implies that I said that the song contained references to what occurred in the game that it was in.

I am sorry. I am in a terrible mood.

I made the comparison both because I was running out of ideas for new threads and because I was inspired to make it by the Sonic News Network.

I only like Crush 40's version. I do not think that the others are very good.

It's still a bad song...and why did they have to cover Seven Rings in Hand and Break Free...awful songs

Their own stuff is much better though they haven't done much new songs in a long time(cuz Sega are not using them for Sonic anymore i guess)

I prefer Johnny Gioeli's Hardline/Brunette(early band he had in the 80s) stuff much better tho
