At the end of kingdom hearts 2 before sora and riku head into the "The door to light" Riku hurts his leg and he can't walk. I was wondering... What caused that? Was it xemnas? When he went after sora at the end of the final battle he hit riku instead but after that he stood up to fight the army of dusks. After the dusk army fight Riku fell to his knees. Was it Xemnas or the dusks???

I think its the dusks because he was exhausted after fighting with Xemnas and the dusks and also, next chapter is up

Before giving his keyblade to Sora, Riku is hit by Xemnas on the leg.

reBirth has a point, Riku DID get hit in the leg by Xemnas by his light saber thingy and also, what I dont understand is if he got hurt, how come he still could have the energy to fight off all those dusks

Thats wut I'm confused about. I know he got hit on the leg by Xemnas but after that he got right back up and fought the dusks! But it still probably was Xemnas but idk for sure...

Oh!! And great i'll be sure to check out the story :D

Well...I think I can clear up your confustion...Simply this:

Because He was chosen by Terra/Xemnes who, has a smalll part of Terra in him, were he doesn't fully "hurt" him. also becauses he's simply Riku. Nuff said.

hope that wworked for yeha =D

Riku was injured by Xemnas' Ethereal Blades, and weakened even more by unleashing that huge attack on the Dusks. I don't believe it's his leg specifically, but the overall strain on his body.

ya but couldn't he just heal himself with the magic thing and im pretty sure xemnas hit him on the back?

When your fighting something, you don't realize you are hurt until the danger has passed. Fact of life.

Wait, when did Riku actually fight the dusks? When I played it, they were there and *poof!* they were gone!

Are you certain that Sora and Riku fought those dusks, how do you know they didn't just dissapear because the leader of the Nobodies was defeated.

It's implied that Riku defeated them all, since he was fine (to an extent) when they showed up, then when they were gone, he had collapsed. And besides, since when does the defeat of one Nobody cause the overall destruction of the others?

Don't you remember, when Vanitas was defeated and all the Unbirths dissapeared

That conveniently slipped my mind, but anyways, it's not like all Nobodies spawned from Xemnas like the Unversed did with Vanitas. The existence of Nobodies are dependant on the strong hearted people who've become Heartless.

Riku was in the heat of the battle, he got hurt, yeah. But his mind took little notice, then the dusks appeared, Riku killed them all, which lowered his energy and caused his body to calm and take a slow fall to a resting state, causing his injuries to fufill their pain. That is why. He wouldn't or couldn't heal himself becuase its just a dramatic part of the storyline, plus he's Riku so....yeah.

maybe he is all exhausted cause he put his being into fighting thingy like axel said and said when all the dusk appeard andhe killed them maybe?

Riku didn't really seem to injure his leg (more or less) than injure himself internally. The fact that they aren't allowed to bleed makes everything rather confusing for me if someone gets hurt internally or externally.....

Meh, Riku is Kingdom Hearts' Uryu, he ALWAYS is the one to get injured (hint hint at how his arm was damaged in Days and was STILL damaged in KH2) *and he's also alittle dramatic wouldn't you say?*
