I figured I might as well make this thread so I can stop wondering why nobody replies to my wrestling threads. I know that only 3-4 people besides me are actually interested it in anyway.

 

So in short, anything about pro wrestling goes here, folks. Whether it be WWE, TNA, Ring Of Honor, New Japan, PWG, or even the independent circuit.

I always thought Wrestling was stupid... But after mah dad bought me WWE 13 instead of AC3 it looks pretty fun

Well, how special you are. The rest of us however don't have physic powers, friend. We actually take in the fact that either side could win in a match. Except if it's a squash match, but still.

I like wrestling. It's basically like any other show, only written differently. No real difference from any action-oriented movie or TV show.

I honestly gave wrestling a little tiny chance once.

The dialogue was so obviously and cheesily scripted that I couldn't watch more than 30 seconds of it.

Maybe I just watched the wrong pro. wrestling channel?

Hey, besides the comedy relief, the overall product focuses on the main core that is wrestling. It's proof enough that they got guys like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and the Shield in the spotlight right now.

TNA's seemingly about to go up for sale soon... hopefully to someone who can redeem it...

I hope the WWE (I know, cliche answer) can at least pick up a few guys from TNA at this point. They're are alot of wrestles who I think can either get a new run in the company (former WWE guys/gals) or have their first run in the WWE (TNA orginals),

The Ruthless Aggression Era was awesome as well. But the PG Era has essentially buried both the midcard and the Divas (ESPECIALLY the Divas).

Can't deny that. Still, they're both getting better with new talent and more screen time. Plus, the IC title is getting more to the high place it used to be with Big E Langston. And I hear rumors that they're going to unify the IC and US titles soon. The Divas haven't really improved except with having girls like AJ Lee as champion and having girls like Natalya and Tamina on the roster. I pray that this will improve once they move the NXT girls like Paige or Emma to the man TV roster.

Wrestling may be "fake" but the pain certainly isn't real. It would probably break the laws of physics if a 200 pound man dropped 10 feet to drive a metal chair into somebody's gut while avoiding hurting the guy. 

 

I don't really watch wrestling and I certainly don't follow it. I saw it on TV once and I have to admit, it was a lot of fun, but I feel like I would get tired of it after a while. 

 

I feel like the sport/show should be renamed, because it certainly isn't actual wrestling. But nonetheless, it's still exciting and probably takes as much skill to master as actual wrestling does.

The Hardy Boyz used to be my fav when I was a kid. Don't really follow wrestling like I used to before after entering high school. Nice to know it's still around though.

 

If you guys are still into wrestling games, the VGCW is a great place to be where funny characters go against each other like Game Grumps (JonTron Era) VS The Mario Bros.!
