POKEMON-New Generation takes place exactly 10 years after the events of the original Pokémon Anime series with both Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu, of which, Ash has now become the new Pokémon Champion of the Pokémon League at the Kanto region's Indigo Plateau and his Pikachu has now evolved into a Raichu, with the Elite Four of the Kanto Region now being composed of Brock, Misty, Lance and Gary alongside the Champion Ash, forcing trainers from around the world to head towards the Kanto region in hopes of beating the world's very best trainers, one especially heading to the Kanto region from the Kalos region is a young man around the age of 16 named "Ace Winchester", hoping to defeat both the Elite Four and the Champion alongside Ace's Personal Pokémon Eevee like Pikachu was for Ash but now, enough talk, let the Sign Ups commence! :].

Yes they are not allowed either and Accepted, as for everyone where they must start off, it has to be somewhere within the Kanto Region near Pewter City.

Somewhere in the Kanto region, in Viridian Forest, Shawn is seen with a Lucario, training by using some sand bags for target practice. Lucario is seen using Aura Sphere on several sand bags at impressive speed. Shawn is seen training himself, beating up a sand bag as well with his fists and feet. Shawn then speaks to his Lucario by saying. "Come on, Lucario! If we are to become the best, then we must train the very hardest!" Shouted Shawn, talking to his Lucario. Lucario nods in acknowledgement, as he uses Close Combat on a big sand bag.

Extremely long obtaining of first Pokemon Origin story that is poorly written at then end, unneeded to read.

 

-Some time in the past-

It was a long trip, coming from Kalos to Kanto, but it was done. "Vermillion City(I figure Digglet Cave technically makes it close to)! What a wonderful place to be today!" Derik stepped off. He was on a bit of a world tour, you see. He lived in Sinnoh primarily, but he traveled a lot because of the fact he was a trying to compile the information about the best team of Pokemon he could gather, the best moves and tactics, and now he felt ready... There was only one issue.... He lacked a Pokemon. He had only a single Pokeball to his name and not much else, save the clothes on his back(Will post a pic later). So, after leaving the ship, Derik went to the near-by tall, grassy areas. Although, as he approached the Pokemon, they would all back away.

 

"Aw. come on..." Derik muttered, returning to town after another failed expedition. He went to a near-by Pokemon Center, and used what small amount of cash he had left to scrape up some food, and then went looking again. Eventually, he found himself roaming Digglet Cave, a dangerous place to be for a Trainer without Pokemon, far more than just the tall grass. He figured that if he could make it to Pewter, maybe the Gym Leader there would help him catch a Pokemon. He was nearly out, when he spotted a ball of blue and black fur off to the side. Derik approached it, going to pick it up, but then a Dugtrio attacked. The Pokemon used Magnitude as soon as it saw Derik, and it shook the tunnel very harshly as the Dugtrio began encircling Derik, as well as the blue and black ball of fur, shaking the ground to a point it seemed the cave may collapse at any moment, Derik fell to the ground as rocks plummeted down, nearly crushing him. Derik did his best to roll out of the way of the falling rocks, but his leg got caught under one.

 

Derik screamed in agony, his foot felt like it were being ripped to shreds under the weight of the rock. He did all he could to move out from under the rock, moving himself in a way that allowed him to get his arms in a position capable of moving the rock. Pushing as hard as he could, Derik managed to remove the rock from his foot, and kept moving, although the ground still shook intensely. He crawled over to the corner that the fur ball was in, and picked it up, but this only made the Dugtrio angrier, as it dug underground once the vibrations nearly ended. But this gave Derik the moment's rest he needed. Standing as best he could, with a crushed leg, he gripped the little Pokemon that was no more than a ball of fur as hard as he could, and ran. The entire way, his leg was absolutely screaming in pain as the Dugtrio chased on and Derik ran as fast as two human feet, although one shattered, could. After he made to the latter, Derik's body was about to give in. Exhaustion and pain radiated out of his entire body, but mostly the broken foot as he screamed for help, his body no longer willing to continue, he passed out.

 

~A week or so later~

 

Derik finally awoke, his body still screaming in pain, but less so, he found that he was now in a hospital room. He looked down at his arms: Still holding the Pokemon he had found in the tunnel tightly. His arms were stiff as he tried to move them off of the creature and onto a Call button when it awoke. It peaked it's head around, looking at it's surroundings, it only noticed one thing: the boy holding him in his arms was awake. Derik smiled at the little creature, but it did something far more on the disliked side. The Pokemon used Thunder Shock on Derik, as he thought to himself: "Why do Pokemon not like me...?". After he was sufficiently cooked, the Pokemon leaped off of his chest, onto the window seal, yawned, then jumped out of the open window. Moments later, a doctor came in to find Derik shocked and burned to an incredible level. The doctor got him into ICU as Derik mutters in a way that even if you could hear it, understanding the words coming from his mouth would be hard, but he muttered "Who's that Pokemon...?" multiple times before passing out.

 

A day later

 

Derik wakes up to find his activity and vitals being recorded by a nurse. She makes sure that he is functioning like a normal human, and Derik asks what had happened, to which the nurse responded that he had gone near a Pokemon named Sninx in Digglet's cave, and was attacked by a Dugtrio that is looking after it, and after you escaped with it, when you woke up, the Shinx had shocked him half to death. Determined to make friends with the Shinx and Dugtrio so he could pass though, he goes through therapy and recovers quickly, although he saved whatever extras of food he could on the last days there to share with the Pokemon.

 

A few weeks later

Derik walks out of the hospital, his body fully recovered, he's ready to try again. He is approached by many Pokemon on the way to, but Derik ignores them and continues on. As he neared the location again, the Dugtrio came back as well, but this time, Derik left the bag of scraps he had on the floor, then turned around and left.

 

The weeks fly by, Derik works in the near-by Pokemart to earn some cash, and every Friday at 8:00 on the dot, he would arrive with the scraps of food and sometimes some fresh berry's or things of that nature. Eventually, the Pokemon in the tunnel got use to Derik being there, save for the Sninx, who often stayed away from Derik. Weeks past, though, and Derik was finally able to travel through the tunnel fully. As he neared the end, he did his daily delivery, sat down, hung out as he did sometimes, and prepared to leave when a Pokemon Hunter had sent out a Sizor to attack and knock out the Dugtrio, which it dose effectively.

 

Upon this, Derik confronted the Hunter-who apparently is supposedly the owner of the Shinx-, who sent his Sizor after the Sninx, but Derik held it up, until it used Iron Claw to knock Derik away, but the Sninx got away, but the man stayed then tied Derik up, as well as the Dugtrio, knowing the Shinx would likely come back, which it did, he captured the Shinx as well, and revealed he was going to sell it to Team Rocket for experimentation, as it can learn moves naturally that normal Shinx don't. Derik, though, was able to cut through his binding on a rock, freed himself, and managed to free the Shinx and the Dugtrio. As they try to make their escape, the Hunter realizes that they escaped, and sends his Sizor after them. 

 

After being cornered and Dugtrio being knocked out again, it's down to Derik and Shinx, Shinx trying to do it on it's own, is unsuccessful, Derik takes a few bad blows for Shinx as they start to work together, they managed to defeat the Sizor and then the Hunter and bring them in, getting a reward for capturing the criminals, and then stayed another night in Vermillion before.

 

Day of the start of the RP

 

 

"Okay, Zyliph, you ready to go?" Derik asked the Shinx, which replied with a head-nod and a "Shi Shi!". Derik touched the button of the ball on the Shinx's head, and it absorbed Zyliph. After the sound of a sucessfull capture was made, Derik walked down into Digglet's Cave, and into the other end by Pewter, where he noticed a large tree blocking the path. "Oh, darn..." Derik mumbled, deciding to send out Zyliph. "Hey, could you try using Thunder Shock on the tree here so we can cross?" Derik asked, and Zyliph gave a slight nod. He struck the tree with Thundershock, and it burned down, smoldering a little as it did so. "Good work, Zyliph. watch your step, you don't wanna get a burn from the tree." Derik said as they walked out onto the path right before Pewter.
