NEW & OLD HEARTS GATHER

 

Kingdom of Keys

 

It has taken a while but Lynn has finally gathered both new & old hearts of light to help her not just battle to protect those important to ones self but to help keep safe the light in every world & heart. All the recruit's have gathered on the new world Lynn call's 'Kingdom of Keys', It was hard for the new recruit's to get here as for some reason this world is almost impossible to not only find but also hard to get too as a strange energy flow is seen around the worlds lanes in between covering the worlds lanes with a strange type of fog & without Lynn's given directions there was almost no way anyone would find it.

 

But since Lynn gave out the directions to everyone she recruited they found the worlds location easily, the sky on 'Kingdom of Keys' is sorta dark with black clouds floating around making it seem very creepy like. Now everyone has made it onto the world 'Kingdom of Keys', it's big castle like doors are wide open for them to enter, inside there is a massive ballroom with many tables that have tasty different foods & drinks set out for everyone to eat & drink. There are also many chairs to sit on with welcoming decorations all around the place to make the recruits feel more at home.

 

At the far end of the ballroom there is a stage with a long table with 4 members of the 'Key Council' (Members of the 'Key Council' wear black coats) sitting side by side at the long table all facing the doors entrance with their hoods covering their faces, it seems they are waiting for Lynn & the last 'Key Council' member to arrive at the meeting. (this is where the recruits should talk to others while enjoying the food & drinks or wonder around the castle & it's many rooms until Lynn appears for the meeting. Hello everyone it's me, the narrator, it's good to pick up this book after reading the first one. I can't tell you just how much fun this will be reading your great adventure, I'll also be helping you out here & there giving you hints, just like last time. Now let's start this story  )

Another recruit had entered the ballroom, it was Ika with the wind from the outside blowing his hair & cape in a cool motion that would have all the girls eyes on him. As Ika walked into the big room he could see that there was a lot of warriors here & Ika's first impression was that most of them look very strange, some even seem a little bit crazy. Ika gave a quick look all around at the recruits "Hmm...there's a lot of people here, I wonder if any of them are stronger than me?" thought Ika as he walked pass a fruit basket on a table grabbed an apple taking a bit out of it. Ika then took a seat near the stage away from all the recruits. Ika then stared at the members of the 'Key Council' & their black coats "Hmm...why do they hide their faces?...whatever, I couldn't care less" said Ika as he took another bit out of his apple, Ika then took another look around at the other recruits. The 4 members of the 'Key Council' stared at all those who where in the ballroom, two of the members looked a one another, one of them giving a little node before staring at Neena & james. (Hmm...wonder what their thinking)

 

Meanwhile while Thomas was hiding in a bedroom with the lights off thinking to himself, voices could be heard coming from down the hall just outside the bedrooms door, the bedrooms door wasn't fully closed as the hall lights beamed a little light into the bedroom. It was Lynn & Kumara walking down the hallway talking to each other, Kumara was saying to Lynn "Lynn...we're entering more than just a battle here and I've told you---" Kumara was interrupted by Lynn saying "STOP KUMARA! I'm already late for the meeting & what I choose is what my heart decides...There's no changing that" Kumara went silent after that as they both continued walking down the hallway passing the room Thomas was in. But soon after that, the last member of the 'Key Council' was walking down the hallway too but had stopped at the room where Thomas was in. The member stared inside the room through the part that was left open before closing the bedrooms door then continued walking down the hallway in the direction that Lynn & Kumara went in. (Did that 'Key Council' member see Thomas or not. this makes me feel uneasy  :unsure: )

James smiled darkly. "Wow! A girl with a lot of backbone. I like you, not many girls would stand up against me. I can tell that there will come a day that you will warm up to me." James told Neena.

Mathias was about to say something to Victoria, but was intrupted by Neena's power display. He looked over at where Neena, Jame and Cole were standing. Nothing further was happening, so he let it slide.

"A pleasure, Victoria." He said, bowing slightly to her. "So, what kind of wonders, if you don't mind me asking?"

 

Axuqa's cold gaze was on James, Neena and Cole as Cody came up.

"The Witch boy and one if not two members of the Decolor." She thought. "That's just lovely."

She pulled herself from her private thoughts when Cody greeted her.

"A few years." She answered. "I'm not usually seen much. How have you been, Four?"

 

Cody remained unmoved be Neena's use of power and started chuckling softly when James mentioned warming up. He could just picture Neena lighting the man on fire.

"I would suggest quitting while your ahead." He told James, conversationally. "And believe it or not, this is ahead."

Victoria smiled. "Well, if you are lucky enough, you might just see for yourself. You already seem to have the whole funny and cute thing down." Victoria said with a smile.

 

 

James looked at Cody. "Hey, believe me, in a fight between me and anybody else, I would win. I am related to the great and powerful Maleficent, which I am sure everybody knows who she is." James said with a crooked grin.

"Great and powerful Maleficent huh? Defeated by some weak keyblader?" Neena's scoffed towards James' comment. This guy was clearly under some delusions of grandeur. "I'll tell you what, if you can change into a dragon right here like she supposedly did, then you win this round. But you have to do it now, not later." Neena looked towards James, challenging him with a glance.

James laughed. "A dragon, huh? Well you're in luck then." James said as he laughed. He then transformed into his big purple dragon self. "Is that good enough for ya?" James said in a very low dragon tone.

Taho:  " He wasn't weak!" I shout angrily.  "He had strength that other people dreamed of having!" 

Rahe:  I put my right hand on Taho's left shoulder and tell him:  "Buddy, getting into an unnecessary fight is a bad idea.  It looks like there's already something going in with that one guy who turned into a dragon."

Taho:  " I know, but I can't stand anyone talking about a hero like Sora in that way."

Rahe:  " I understand how you feel, but calm down.  Let's just see some more, okay?"

Taho:  "Alright, let's see."

Lightning frowned at Ghost. "Who is she?" The ageless soldier asked Luna.

 

Zion kissed Luna's cheek, her arms comfortingly around the girl's stomach. Xion kept playing with Luna's hair, smiling sadly. "It will be ok Luna. Zion and I will make sure nothing happens to Cody. Besides..." she also kissed Luna's cheek. "We swore we'd never see you cry again. We meant it. If the Four Horsemen have to kick ass, we'll kick some ass!"

(Love how no one notices the giant dragon in the room)

 

Neena smirked, and clapped slowly and mockingly. "Bravo." She said simply, before muttering some sort of incantation under her breath, and opening her palm toward the dragon. Her hand glowed gold, and chains of light snaked around the dragon, rendering it helpless in its current form. "Now if you don't mind, I'm feeling a bit thirsty." Neena sprung off the wall calmly, and made her way without event to the bar, where she sat down, and ordered a glass of cider. Neena never drank, it would curb her senses, and let down her guard, never a good thing.

James smiled as he watched her sit down. 'That girl, now that is what I call hot. Take down someone like me by ticking me into my dragon form. She has something special to her." James said with a smile.

"Well... Stopga sleep hasn't worn off completely yet, and the memories of the battles are still fresh in my head." Cody replied to Axqua. "A few years? I wonder how the others are doing?" Listening in to the conversation between Neena and James, he raised an eyebrow after spotting Neena using her dark magic out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head and quickly winced; the sharp pain from the wound on his neck was still giving him a hard time thanks to Ghost. "This... this could turn ugly." he remarked to Axqua. Almost on cue, a giant dragon appeared in the ballroom and surprisingly left the disgraced Guardian unfazed. "Well now... Um... I'm gonna go say hi to Ovan and Ziio, if you don't mind."

 

Walking towards Ziio, Ghost took the opportunity to approach Axqua. "From the sounds of it, you two have interacted before." she started, "So... know anything special about that kid?"

 

Luna was watching out of the corner of her eyes, making sure she wasn't approaching Cody. She hugged Zion a little tighter, hoping that it would provide some extra comfort but still felt on edge. "She's an Enforcer" Luna started, "Specializing in one thing and one thing only: getting rid of people like me or Cody if we break our oath. All I know is that there are three of them, Cody broke the oath and is at her mercy right now, and... I don't know what's gonna happen to him." She buried her face into Zion's chest. "I don't want him to disappear."

"Save it for the enemy!" Axuqa yelled across the room to James. "Got a problem with someone? Keep it to yourself, boy."

Angry eyes took in Ghost's face for a moment before returning to a natural look.

"Good soldier." She answered. "Wished he had stuck around after the War. I could have used a man like him."

 

Mathias glanced behind himself to see James's transformation. He winced slightly as Axuqa yelled out. It never paid to make her angry. Annoyed, sometimes. Angry, no. He turned back and smiled apologetically to Victoria.

"Some party, eh?" He said with a shrug. "And I must say, I'm usually less adept in these situations then I'm doing now. I'm more at home in a workshop."

 

Cole watched Neena walk off. At least she hadn't killed anyone yet. He reached down and picked up his sheathed sword, nodded to James nonchalantly and walked towards Axuqa and Ghost.

"As powerful a voice as ever, Axqua." Ziio remarked. "Good to see you as powerful as ever."

Victoria smiled. "You have a workshop? Thats awesome. My father used to let me work in his workshop when I was young. I would usually end up making a lot of magical weapons and potions. I am more of a magic user when it comes down to it. And believe me, I am normally not the type of girl to talk, but you seem to be different than other people." Victoria said with a smile.

"Just less tolerant to grandstanding." Axuqa replied to Ziio.

She looked at the girl. She had watched her after the War, after Ray asked that Ziio have friends. Axuqa had generally been too busy for social calls, she had still tried to help Ziio, even in indirect ways.

"I am glad you made it, Ziio."

 

"My father and I share a workshop below his castle." Mathias explained. "There, I mainly try to push the bounds of what science and magic can do together. I've even found ways to harness magical energies with mechanical devices."

He stopped and looked a little embarrassed.

"I must apologize again. I do not wish to bore you with a lecture on my work. So, where are you from?"

"Just less tolerant to grandstanding." Axuqa replied to Ziio.She looked at the girl. She had watched her after the War, after Ray asked that Ziio have friends. Axuqa had generally been too busy for social calls, she had still tried to help Ziio, even in indirect ways. "I am glad you made it, Ziio.""My father and I share a workshop below his castle." Mathias explained. "There, I mainly try to push the bounds of what science and magic can do together. "Glad to be here, carrying on Ray's legacy. Besides, I promissed myself to stop any threats to the worlds that I know of. It's been a bit, has it not?" Ziio said, presenting her hand to the old commander.

Victoria smiled. "Hey, I am not bored. I find it interesting. And I am from a world that isn't there any longer. So, I really don't like to talk about it, because it is just too sad." Victoria said.

Taho scratched his head and said to Rahe:  "Let's get back to master Ovan.  We can talk with people after the divisions are announced."  Rahe sighed and said:  "Alright."  and walks back to his seat with Taho.

Kumara had entered the ballroom through the door that leads to the bedrooms hall & took a good look at all the recruits that have come here to lend there powers for the greater good. Kumara stared at Lightning before starting to walk towards her but along the way she accidentally bumping into Taho "S..sorry Taho" said Kumara as she stood in silence looking at him for a moment blushing a bit. Ika had seen Neena & James little display while eating his apple "Hmm...just there are some strong people here after all" said Ika before taking another bite out of his apple. The last & youngest member of the 'Key Council' had appeared in the ballroom coming in from behind a red curtain that was just behind the Council's table where they were sitting. The 5th & last member then whispered into another members ear before sitting down at the council's table "FINALLY!" yelled Lynn as she entered the ballroom walking along on the stage towards the center where a microphone stand was with a little tall desk too.

 

Lynn stared at the dragon that was in the room with a questionable face but went along with it. Lynn had some papers in her hand and soon put them down on the tall desk, Lynn looked at all within the ballroom thinking to herself "There are so many new faces here, I can also see some of my dear friends from the first war have made it here too. I'd love to catch up with them all...but I should get this meeting underway first" Lynn was approached from behind by one of the 'Key Council' members before Lynn could say anything into the microphone the member whispered into her ear. Lynn gave a little nod as the member then sat back down at their long table, Lynn's face looked a bit concerned but shook it off before speaking into the microphone saying "OK EVERYONE! LISTEN UP! This meeting is now underway. For those of you who don't know me my name is Lynn & I'm the one who called for you all to come here today. I will now be telling you all whats been happening with certain worlds out there as well as sharing some very important & strange info we have gathered. I also have the papers here for the divisions you'll all be in too, So let us not waist anymore time"

Ghost was factoring in Axqua's remark on Cody, coming ever more closer to making her final decision if the Guardian should still be around. "A soldier, huh?" she echoed, "Odd... now why would the Master send a defender on the offensive?" Using your keyblade skills for attacking, rather than defending... You're in way over your head, Nocturne.

"Ziio" Cody addressed, "Nice to see you again. How have you been since the war?" Ghost was factoring in Axqua's remark on Cody, coming ever more closer to making her final decision if the Guardian should still be around. "Rather well. I loosened up a little, got a bit of an education, saved the world's a few times... The usual busy work. You look rather healthy, but things seem off. I know its far beyond my reasonable asking, and pry's into your personal life, but I must ask, what's with the stiff giving you the eye?" Ziio's head gestures to Ghost. "Something about him bothers me." Her voice stayed constant in tone, although she was casting another spell, using her fingers to create the signs needed as she talked. The moment she stopped talking, and her hands dropped, the spell was cast. It as a simple dark illusion spell, she used it for her pranks, when she wanted to mess around. Ghost could hear an eerie whisper in his ear and a cold chill ran through his body, his shadow started to slightly grow as well, but then Lynn began to talk, she payed more attention to that if anything.(now torture the poor Ghost with Ghosties, Javelin. You know the things he fears, let it terrorise him!/shot)

Ovan was finishing up when he heard the announcement.  He thought:  So the addressing is starting.  He looked behind and saw his students coming to their seats.  When the just got in their seats, he said:  "Good.  You two made it just in time.  Lynn is going to announce the division members."  Taho:  "Really?!  Oh, sweet!  Uh, I mean, excellent."  Rahe:  "Nice cover up bud."  Taho:  "Ignoring that."

Kumara saw that Taho didn't take to much notice of her after she had accidentally bumped into him, because Taho had walked back over to his table with Ovan & Rahe. Kumara could hear Lynn about to give the recruit's the big news, but Kumara wanted a quick drink, so Kumara quickly walked over to the bar where Neena was, Kumara sat on a chair next to Neena and gave a blank star as Neena's drink was placed in front of her by the bartender. Kumara then stared at the drink Neena had ordered before saying to the bartender "I'll have a glass of warm milk, please" The bartender nodded his head before getting her drink ready "Neena...right?, I hope your truly ready. For what you'll see, is what you'll become" said Kumara as her drink of warm milk was placed in front of her. Kumara began to drink her warm milk slowly as it was a bit hotter than she thought.  

Zion rubbed Luna's back.

"Nothing will happen to him. I promise. You will never lose him again. I promised him I'd kill him myselfif he made you cry, and I meant it. So smile for me Lu. Please?" Zion nuzzled Luna's hair. Xion scooted her chair closer so her shoulder was touching Luna, still playing with the Guardian's hair.

"It's ok Luna. She tries anything, she gets five Keyblades firing every offensive spell imaginable at her. Lets not even mention the extra one or two Zion has access to in her times of need."

Thomas was still laying down on the bed. He couldn't hear what was going on in the ballroom. He just laid on the bed thinking to himself about how everything will be.
