It seems like those super-amazing people who revealed the Legendary Trio of X and Y are Wonder Trading hacked Pokemon, which is causing innocent peoples games to be corrupted. I might stop using this feature until the Pokemon Bank comes online and I can save my precious, precious Pokemon from the bad egg plague.

EDIT: my bad, the glitch has existed since the game released, and, apparently, only about 4 cases have been confirmed. If this happens to you, remove all Pokemon from the box that has the infected egg (which you care about) and stop using that Pokemon box. Don't check the condition of the egg, and avoid it all costs from then on.http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/47737/20131102/pokemon-x-and-y-glitch.htm

Apparently its near a 0% chance this can happen and its been happening since Day 1. Its more of a glitch too.

I guess it mustn't be too bad/widespread, or else more media would be reporting on it. Screw it, I'll start Wonder Trading again, it's too much fun xD

Just do not save as soon as you get a Pokémon from Wondertrade and check your PC if you happen to get it.

Do not hatch it.

Do not look at it.

Do not do anything with it.

Take out your Pokémon in the PC.

Still has an extremely small chance of happening.

Yeah, I read some other articles from more reputable sources and it seems like only 3-4 cases have been reported, so it's unlikely to happen. Still an issue that X and Y players should know about.

This is very upsetting, wonder trade is supposed to be a fun way of getting random pokemon, but thanks to those factoring hackers who found those three legendary pokemon as well as (for those who don't wanna know about the other pokemon found in the hacked archives, don't click the spoiler)

Mew, and Latios, and Latias in their respective Mega forms

some people harnessed that hacking power to trade hacked pokemon and get mystery eggs, and get our favorite classic glitch pokemon, BAD Egg.

I hope Nintendo will find a way to stop this.

Eh no. Now one of them admits it's more likely a bug encountered in the Wonder Trades. (And when I mean one of them, not the hacker but one of the victims)

The hacker just started this week and that bad egg has been way before he started. He also said he wasn't going to trade hacks. Why would he when he'd possiblty get in trouble for spreading hacks that turn out as bad eggs that screw other people's games?

Well, this is pretty much assured me to only trade with my friends here only

Well,as long as no one would discover himher

They can trade them

But in that case, why would they???Why would they ruin the other players experience by trading hacks??? he wouldn't gain anything from it unless he's blackmailing GameFreak

By they, you mean the victims? Because like I said, the bad eggs was way before the hacker hacked the 3 hidden legends to appear+the Lati twin's mega evolutions.

The hacker hasn't even been able to modify the Pokemon's data so much that they would turn out corrupted, at least to my knowledge. So far it's been replacing encounter slots to make them appear, which is very little tampering with the Pokemon. It would only be a wrong area, etc but the game isn't going to turn them to bad egg for that as it doesn't know what's right and wrong (as in the location, OT, etc), especially from event Pokemon that could come from anywhere such as GS, Toysrus, wi-fi, etc.

Now if he can make a Pokemon from scratch, now there's the chance it could screw things over if he messes up the coding. (Similar to Pokegen, but without the program holding on to his hand; one code at time)

There is the possibility that the victim recieved a Pokemon with illegal moves and stats....which as far as I remember...caused the Bad Egg glitch to appear in RubySapphire

I know this is for Gen 3 but it may also apply here as you have no way to know that the Pokemon you recieved has illegal moves and stats until you got it

True.Of course since RSE is a GBA game, a lot of mechanics are different. (I don't think missingno exist anymore after gen 3 or 4 for example.) Which shocks me and find ironic that the bad egg still exists. lol I think GF added that like a red flag; anything illegal generates it to that. (because why would it be always called "bad egg?")I'll still try out WT as usual. (for shits and giggles that is) Although I will stop after Pokebank is released. Oh the horror...

Thank you. It isn't some Hack-Attack on the Wondertrade, it is a very small bug that is barely widespread. Nintendo will fix this, especially if they are notified of it soon.

Mew? Where did you see that?

I saw on serebii that Latios and Latias got a Mega Evolution, but I didn't see anything about Mew having one o.o

Well,I heard on Serebii.net's forum that the occurance chance of BAD Egg is very very very rare unless you get a hacked Pokemon which increases the occurance of the glitch

There is always the possibility that someone created a Pokemon with illegal stats and moves which, like in Gen 3,will cause BAD Egg to occur

Jesus Christ, I thought mynintendonews was going nuts, but that site as well.Site has false info, it's called replacing encounter slots. No shit Mew is in the files. Can't wait till websites go bananas over all previous uncatchable Pokemon available. -_-In other words, everything is in the game. It doesn't take rocket science to know that. (to those sites overhyping the obvious)
