Do they slip the fortune into the completed cookie from one of the open ends, or do they build the cookie around the fortune? o.o

 

These are the things I wonder about while procrastinating @.@

Obviously they enchant the cookie part, and inside is the fortune of whomever was given the cookie. For really. 

 

Because magic really exists. 

The cookies are baked as flat circles. After they are removed from the oven, slips of paper are folded inside while the cookies are still warm and flexible. As the fortune cookies cool, they harden into shape.
