Endless theories have predicted Aqua being the first to be saved, in order to save Ven, actually. But, why?

 

It would make sense to have Aqua and Ansem the Wise awaiting Sora in the Realm of Darkness, as shown in Zero Points.

Especially considering Terra is not necessary for Xehanort, as he did say that Terra was just one of many roads he could take.

 

Roxas, Xion, Namine, and Terra could all very well be saved beforehand. Ventus, however, I'm unsure of. As Eraqus may be, to an extent, saved (as he seems to have entered Terra), then theoretically, Eraqus could revert Castle Oblivion to it's previous state, and Sora could awaken Ven.That would leave Aqua.

I think Ven will be last- with the Keyblade to Unlock Hearts or whatever Sora's looking for, Roxas and Xion can come back from his heart, Aqua will be rescued, and then before she goes to get Ven she'll save Terra and THEN go to Castle Oblivion and wake Ven up, because she tells Ven when initially leaving him there: "Terra and I will be back to wake you up before you know it." If what she said is true, Ven will be last- unless Sora finds his thing after that, then Roxas and Xion would be last I suppose- but also depends if Eraqus is unlocked from Terra's heart, then he may be last too, or Namine from Kairi's...

Um, no. Aqua has to come before Ven, she's the only one who can navigate Castle Oblivion. Eraques wouldn't be able to navigate the place, let alone change it back to the Land of Departure. Whatever order those who have to be saved comes in, the one rule is that before Ven can be saved, Aqua has to be saved, and Terra can most likely be saved either before or after Aqua. Also, though I'm not sure if it is at all relevant, I also believe Ven will be saved last, it just makes sense. Unless Namine doesn't have to be saved first, so I suppose she could also be the last one saved, but I still think it's going to be Ven last.

If Aqua isn't saved before Ven, Ven is never saved.  She is the only one who knows how CO works (it's rooms change and shift) and people have already tried to find him with no success.  She needs to be saved in order to just find him, let alone save him.  Terra could be first or last (I personally think last they'll go to Keyblade Graveyard for the final showdown and find his lingering will)

Why would Aqua be the last one to be saved? That makes no sense. She is the only one who knows where Ven is in CO.

If the Organization wasn't able to find Ven, then who would think that Aqua would be the last to be saved? She's the only one that can unravel the secrets of Castle Oblivion, so yeah, Ven will probably be the last to be saved.
