I have not bought a 3DS/2DS yet and I was wondering what would be best one to get for DDD, the 2DS , 3DS or 3DS XL?

3DS XL, for sure. You have two large screens, and it still closes to fit in your pocket and to protect those two screens, and you at least still have the option of 3D, and if you don't want the 3D you can turn it off entirely.

2DS' are marketed more for clumsy children who would break the hinge of an actual 3DS and whose eyes are too sensitive for the 3D.

3DS XL. 2DS is intended as the cheap one.

If you're looking for any 3D at all, you could dish out $200 for a 3DS XL.  It's the major marketing for a 3DS system after all, but....not many fans care to use it.

If you're looking to just play the game or any game with no worry/care for 3D, $132 for a 2DS would be your best choice.

I've played it on both a 3DS and 3DSXL, and although the 3DSXL simple has enlarged pixels, a bigger screen is better in this case. Go for one of the two instead of a 2DS.

Go for a 3DS or a 3DSXL.

If you want a cheap one, then go for the regular 3DS. If you want big screens, then go for the 3DSXL.
