Honestly, this is why sometimes I'm ashamed that we have the Internet in this day and age, because some people just don't know how to make a PROPER ARGUMENT!

 

Now I haven't been paying any attention to One Direction, so I don't really have much of an opinion on them. I don't know if they're good or bad or either like so many people are saying, and I didn't even know boy bands were sill around (as soon as NSYNC and Backstreet Boyz faded away, I lost interest). But I do know one thing, and it's that I don't care. Comparing Doctor Who to One Direction is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. They have literally NOTHING in common, aside from the fact that they just so happen to share a date for their own things: 1D's big concert and DW's 50th anniversary.

 

If this guy was a fan of both, then it would at least be a little understandable. But no, he's clearly biased towards One Direction, and not even in an admirable way. It doesn't even sound like he's ever heard of Doctor Who until now, and he has no way of gathering actual evidence or research for either Doctor Who OR One Direction. He's just spouting out FALLACIES!!!

 

It's people like this that give fans of One Direction a bad name. Hell, it's guys like this that give fans of ANYTHING a bad name!

 

I feel like I just lost 10% of my brain cells just reading his horrendous statements, if you could even call them "statements".

*sigh*...well, this isn't exactly my "hanging out with friends time" right now, but I have to admit, reading this argument HAS wasted a lot of my time I could have spent on more important things. I know who my friends are, and thanks for reminding me.  ^_^

You say boybands come and go? Then tell me, what happened to the Beatles? They came. But they did not go. Not for a long time. 1D is basically the modern version of the Beatles. Surely, they will have the same legacy, if not better.
