Depends what's on offer at the time really, I've spent the last few months just trying to find a job available (I too am trying to save up for a PS4 xD) If I were you I'd start of looking for simple part-time jobs in any local shops as a shop assistant. Its nearly christmas so if your lucky there might be some temporary jobs around at the moment.

Good luck with your job hunting!

Most schools have JED installed on their pcs to use in careers classes so it would be free to take the tests from a school location.  You input your information, likes, skills, qualities etc and get an ordered list of jobs you are most suited for.

Mine went:1. Architecture

2. Art museum coordinator

3. Animator

4. Editor

5. Web Designer

6. Graphic Designer

...Maths/History/ICT teacher.

These are really life long jobs though...

At your age though any that would accept you is pretty much acceptable.  If you find another after that has a higher pay check try for that instead.  Menial labor is menial labor.

Working at your local grocery store or cafe is good for people your age, or maybe stores like Target. If you don't have much time for it i suggest working casually.

Most of my friends are either cashiers or waiters.  Which are both relatively easy jobs, depending on where you work.

Work in places you feel comfortable at. If you are a tech savvy, work in places that promotes tech, such as Best Buy, hgregg (I think it's only where I live, but I could be wrong), electronic sections in stores like walmart, or target.

If you want something simple like cashier, stock boy/girl (try to go for that job, I hear it pays well), then work in any store like walmart, target, department stores (such as JcPenney, or Sears).

Work in the environments you would like to work in. Do research in certain stores to see if the place has a friendly atmosphere.
