{Xoctts}

The sound of crashing filled the old Castle in the remains of Radiant Garden. The dim light that remained in the former world was fading as Xoctts pushed through the wreckage at one of entrances to the castle. More damage had been done to the castle since the attack on Destiny Islands by dark forces.

And the Betrayal.

Once again, Xoctts cursed the Witch's actions. Why had he trusted her? If he found the Void Witch again, he would avenge the fallen.

Feeling alone and hopeless, Xoctts leaned against a wall and slowly slid down into a sitting position.

 

{Xion}

Sora pushed himself up to his knees, the pain of his wounds nearly causing him to blackout. He looked around as his friends were being hunted down by a laughing figure.

"I'm not going to make it, am I?" He thought.

He looked down to see his wounds. He felt soo tired. But he had to do more.

"Roxas...Xion." He murmured. "This is your fight now."

Sora summoned his Kingdom Key. He turned it so that the blade was pointed towards himself and, like he had done to free Kairi's heart, he stabbed himself.

The point of view seemed to rise up as Sora slumped. He looked up in time to see a grinning face and red blades slashing for him.

"SORA!" Xion screamed as she shot up into a sitting position.

She pulled her legs to her chest and sobbed as the loneliness and sorrow filled her as she sat in the ruins of Twilight Town's Train Station.

{Xion & Xemnas}"And dangerous." Xemnas noted, eyeing Astra again, a calculating look on his face.Xemnas took off and joined Xavvic in the air. He pushed on, clashing his blades with Ken."You might be old, but that doesn't equal strength." The Superior said, pushing Ken's fighting ability.Xion ran and jumped up to the roof, using a few fire and ice spells she had mana for.{Mercy}"Alright." Mercy breathed. "Here we go."She reached out and closed her eyes. Bright light emanated from her hands as a tiny point of Light was formed and started to glow.All around, Heartless appeared, drawn in by the two hearts and the Light. With an unspoken agreement, the Heartless closed in.

Kazuto twirled his keyblade and made a huge barrier of fire around him(like sora in KH2) destroying the heartless around them. He then did a spin attack to destroy the rest of the heartless.

Suddenly, another hooded figure appears in front of Ken, and tries to block all of it's enemies' attacks by sending out a stream of Darkness. "Ken, we are disappointed in you, we told you get get information on our enemy, not take too long... You should be ashamed of yourself... Otherwise our two Masters may punish you badly..." Said the hooded figure, talking to Ken. Ken simply clenches his teeth and let' out a sigh, as he puts his Keyblade away. He is annoyed by the hooded figure's appearance. "Keh, Angelica... Fine... I'll not waste time like this again..." Said Ken, talking to Angelica.

"Hey!" Said Xavvic. "You mus be the masters that he's talking about!" Xavvic was surprised by the figures choice of clothing. "You need to rename him, no one here can take him seriously. And for god sakes man, could you be any more basic with your clothes!? I mean, it's cool for Xemnas and his cronies, but that don't mean it's cool for you." He pointed his Keyblade at Ken " Now move aside, I got some business with that twerp!"

Angelica simply gives out an smile on her face, as she merely puts a hand on her hip. She is finding Xawic's misunderstanding interesting. "Sorry to say, but I'm not one of the two Masters that Ken here was talking about... They're busy with something... I am Angelica, Rank VII of "The Imperial Kings Of Eternal Darkness", Ken here is Rank IV... I hope that you're ready to say your good bye to the Light, because WE shall wipe out what's left of the Realm of Light, and rule over the Realm of Darkness with an iron fist and a malicious rule... This is sure fun for a woman like me... But enough talk... Don't expect us to be the only Imperial Kings, because there are MORE of us... But for now, Ken and I shall return to our two Masters until they sends out again for the next move... Until then, prepare yourselves... Including you, Xemnas, because our two Masters shall wipe you and the other Xehanorts out to simply get competition out of the way... Good bye for now..." Said Angelica, talking to Xawic. Angelica and Ken teleport away to somewhere. Master Thomas, Karen, and Tyler look on at Lacuna with stern looks on their faces.

Xavvic was not happy that his battle was denied. "Arrrgh!" He screamed, and dropped to the floor. The darkness was receding as he was ganing more control over himself.

{Lacuna}

The Void Witch returned the look Thomas, Tyler and Karin were giving her, then made a face at them. She then jumped as if something startled her.

"Oh. The floor show ended." She said. "That's my que."

She gave her opponents a sheepish look.

"Sorry, I'm on the clock. Guess we will have to finish this later."

She winked at Kopiu.

With that she was gone, but in her place was a small orb of light that was growing.

 

{Xion & Xemnas}

Xion dropped down from the roof and knelt by Xavvic.

"Are you alright?" She asked him.

Xemnas floated down to the floor and landed gracefully. He looked around the room at the faces and looked conflicted.

"It appears that your only option is-" The Superior started before Lacuna appeared in front of him.

"Hey, Xemy!" She greeted in a merry tone. "Your turn!"

What happened next seemed to go in slow motion. Xemnas flared his Etherial Blades and brought both up. Lacuna swiped them out of the way with one Void blade as her other hand drew back. Her hand closed around what looked to be a hole where a Keyblade should be. She stabbed forward with the blade and stabbed into Xemnas's chest.

"Your just reward." Lacuna said, this time in a tone that sent chills down a Nobody's spine.

Xion reacted instantly by standing up and throwing her Keyblade. It spun through the air and knocked the Void Keyblade out of Lacuna's hand and Xemnas's chest.

"Murderer!" Xion yelled at Lacuna.

Lacuna snapped a hateful look at Xion.

"I'll deal with you later, little sister!" She snapped, then vanished like she had never been there.

Xemnas collapsed to his knees, holding his chest, finding hard to breath.

{Mercy}

More heartless descended on Mercy and Kazuto as Mercy continued to make a Light portal in a place working against her. A few times, the portal shrank from pressure from the Dark Realm, but Mercy kept at it.

"Just...a bit...more." She managed to tell Kazuto as sweat beaded on her face.

{Mercy}

"Just...a bit...more." She managed to tell Kazuto as sweat beaded on her face.

Kazuto decided that with all the heartless coming, he needed to move faster. "Ok then, i'll keep this up for as long as i have to." He pointed his keyblade into the air, and teleported above a few heartless. He did a quick strike, then teleported to another side did another strike, and did this a few times, until finally he stabbed down in the center of the heartless and dispelled all the heartless around them.

"Darn it! I totally forgot about her!" Astra yelled as he ran towards Xemnas. "Don't move, we are going to help you."The boy in the black coat channeled the rest of his mana into manipulating time around the wound."Aina! I need you here!"The black haired girl vanished her Keyblade as she got closer to the black coated men."I'm into it" Ainari placed her hands closer to Xemnas' chest before they began to glow with a faint green light."Is he going to be alright?" Yuri asked, completely concerned about Xemnas."I'm trying my best to revert the wound by manipulating time around it." was Astra's response."And I'm using all of my mana into this healing spell." said Ainari."I wish I was good with healing spells." the white haired girl punched the wall in frustration."The form of that Keyblade...it looked just like...hers..." the silver haired boy thought to himself.

Zion had been fighting the entire time, despite everyone apparently ignoring her Albion Strike. She had dropped in front of Xion when Lacuna stabbed Xemnas, and when the man fell onto his knees, Zion stayed near Xion. She had no love for Organization XIII, so she did was Sione would, and did, agree on.

Stay near the cute girl.

 

With a soft sigh, Zion touched Xion's arm.

"She won't hurt you. I promise."

Meanwhile, in a huge castle within the Realm of Darkness, somewhere in an mysterious and unknown location, looking like a demonic palace, bearing a Crimson-colored Emblem looking like an evil upside down looking version of the Keyblade Master Symbol on it's main tower, Ken and Angelica are seen sitting on thrones in what appears to be a throne room. There are ten more hooded figures sitting on their thrones, looking upon a screen on a wall, showing the events of Twilight Town and Radiant Garden. However, the only people not wearing a coat, which is supposed to look like a silver-colored coat with part of an upside down version of the Keyblade Master Symbol but colored purple on the chest part of the coat and have jet black colored pointy shoulder pauldrons embedded with small red Rubies, are Darkshionus, Xetrodon, and a man who appears to be nothing but Darkness, sitting on three higher jet black-colored thrones, each engraved with a more stylized golden-colored upside down version of the Keyblade Master Symbol on top of the thrones above the head rests on the three thrones. Darkshionus looks around upon his comrades with an evil smirk on his face. "Good day, everyone... Some of you may have completed the missions that we gave you, Ken told me of a boy with an uncontrollable Darkness, which intrigues my interest... And we shall make our next move soon... And when we do... It shall be quite a bloodbath... I still need more Energy, so I can resume my original form, and Xetrodon and I need to take Tyler and Xterly's new Keyblades, the Passageway To Light and the Passageway To Twilight, and use them alongside my Passageway To Darkness Keyblade together, these three Keyblades are Legendary, and were the other Legendary Weapons at the time of 300 years ago that existed alongside Kingdom Hearts besides the X-Blade... They may not be as powerful as the X-Blade, but they have special powers, of which we shall use... To bring about the return of our original self, of whom is manifested as only a mere manifestation of Darkness right here before you... He is currently to using his powers to keep himself stable..." Said Darkshionus, talking to his comrades. Angelica smirks evilly at this as she folds her arms. "So, in other words, we need to steal some Keyblades just to prepare for the return of the "Grand Master", and the Empire's true leader? My lords?" Asked Angelica, asking Darkshionus a question. Darkshionus looks right at Angelica with an evil smirk on his face and nods at her. Karen, Tyler, and Master Thomas look on at where Lacuna was, as the put away their Keyblades, clenching their teeth. "Indeed, but for now, we shall work on destroying the remaining Keyblade Wielders Of Light.." Said Darkshionus, talking to Angelica. Hex smirks evilly as he leans on his throne. "My lords, the experiment I've done to the Keyblade Wielders that we've captured had been successful... They're under our control now... Hehehe..." Said Hex, talking to Darkshionus and Xetrodon. Xetrodon looks on at Hex with an evil smirk on his face as he stares on at Hex with his violet-colored eyes. "Very good, Hex, we shall send out our "Puppets" soon... And "Plant Seeds" in our enemies' path... Once we possess the X-Blade, we shall possess the power of Kingdom Hearts... By utilizing it's Darkness..." Said Xetrodon, talking to Hex. Darkshionus looks around at his comrades with an evil smirk on his face as he leans on his throne. "Even if we lose our "Puppets", we have a "Special Surprise" to replace them... "They" shall appear later to take their place..." Said Darkshionus, talking to his comrades.

-Kopiu-

Kopiu wiped his mouth with his sleeve, trying to get the taste of Lacuna's lips out. It wasn't a bad taste... Just an evil one. Kopiu picked up Soul Devourer from where he had dropped it, and turned to Master Tyler, Karen, and Thomas. "Well, I suppose we'll meet again, but hopefully under better circumstances. I will attempt to track Lacuna. You three... Go do something good." Kopiu said to them. He opened a dark corridor in front of him, and walked through. He could hear Riku's voice.

'Nice job Kopiu. You practically took a side.' This would happen on occasion. Riku's voice would talk to him, often scolding him for his inaction. 'That wasn't a side. I was attempting to bring justice.' Kopiu thought back.

'Whatever you call it, I'm glad.' Riku said back to him. Kopiu smiled ever so slightly, before the grin disappeared again.

 

-Lupus-

Lupus stood back up from where Ken had been able to throw her, now in human form. She winced at the pain of being thrown back. Lupus turned, and saw all of them gathered near one of their comrades. She ran over, and knelt down next to Xemnas, before realizing there wasn't really anything a wolf could do to help this man. The wolf girl backed off, standing a few feet away.

{Mercy}

Kazuto's attacks were working well to defeat the Heartless, though more were coming. Mercy pushed harder and opened a Light Portal to Radiant Garden.

"Come on!" She called to Kazuto. "It won't last too long."

She stuck a hand through to help it stay open longer. She positioned herself so that Kazuto going through the portal would push her through as well. The other end of the portal appeared in front of Thomas, Tyler and Karin.

Off in the distance, Heartless parted for a figure in a mixture of robes and armor.

"There you are." It said, sounding like finger nails on a chalkboard.

 

{Xion}

"She already has." Xion replied to Zion softly.

Xemnas appeared to be recovering with help from Astra and Ainari, but started to grow agitated.

"Get away from me!" He roared, pushing them away.

He stumbled forward, clutching his chest.

"How did...she?" He muttered.

He cried out and disappeared in a swirl of darkness.

Xion looked around at everyone there, a hopeless look in her eyes. She felt so alone. Her eyes finished her circuit at Zion.

"Why is she trying to assure me?" The replica thought.

Images of Roxas and Axel ran through her mind.

"Friends?" She thought.

"'My friends are my power!'" She remembered a certain brown haired boy say.

As she looked at Zion, Xion's eyes filled with resolve. She gave Zion a nod and whispered "thank you" before walking out into the middle of the broken down train station.

"It looks like our problem is a lot more complicated then we thought." She said, addressing everyone there. "And like it or not, we are stuck in it. But together, we can survive. I don't know most of you well."

She looked back to Zion.

"But some I'm already learning to trust."

She switched her gaze to Lupus, who she gave a thankful nod.

"And I want to learn to do that with all of you. Together, we can do it."

She closed her eyes and laid a hand over her heart.

"Friends can do anything together."

 

{Xemnas}

Xemnas appeared in a secret lab he had set up. He stumbled to a cabnet and ripped it open. Inside were ethers, potions and elixirs. He reached in, knocking a bottle out, which tumbled to the ground and shattered. His hands grasped an elixir and pulled it out. He wrenched the top off and down its contense. He gasped a breath and dropped a bottle and collapsed against a counter, his head resting on his arms.

As he lay there, his coat changed from black to the black and white pattern of his final form.

Xavvic woke up. "Ughhh.." He rubbed his head. "I believe I overdid it..."

Ainari was take by surprise by Xemnas' sudden actions that she fell back only to watch him disappear."What's wrong with him?" she asked slightly confused."Let him be" Astra said while helping the black haired girl to get up. "I am sure he have his reasons.""Well, he was a jerk" Yuri stated. "At least he could have said thank you""Let us forget about that Yuri, it doesn't matter.""It looks like our problem is a lot more complicated then we thought. And like it or not, we are stuck in it. But together, we can survive. I don't know most of you well. But some I'm already learning to trust. And I want to learn to do that with all of you. Together, we can do it. Friends can do anything together."" Xion said to everyone."Now, that was cheesy" the white haired girl said in a carefree tone. "But...I guess you're right"Ainari nodded at Xion with a smile on her face."Yeah. If we work together, I am sure we can overcome this challenge""Let us walk this road together" the silver haired boy said. "Side by side"

Kazuto grabbed Mercy's arm. "Ok, on 3. ONE, TWO, THREE!" Kazuto dashed through the portal, taking mercy along with him, and crashed into Thomas, Tyler and Karin, knocking them to the floor. The heartless were trying to pry through the portal. "CLOSE IT MERCY, THEY'RE COMING THROUGH!"

"Ok then," said Xavvic "what's the plan, now that we are all together." He also liked around "sorry if I went overboard. I shouldn't have removed the limiter."

-Don't don't don't - dammit.-

Zion had flown the Xion and wrapped her in a warm embrace. Her wings faded away.

"Friends always can succeed..." she lowered her voice. "And friends can heal the deepest wounds. You just have to open your heart."

Pulling back and winking, Zion stepped back and backflipped into the air, her wings re-appearing. She did a loop de loop for fun, then hovered clear of everyone's view of Xion.

"So. We need a ride to worlds and stuff, right?"

Master Thomas, Tyler, and Karen look a little surprised to see a Light Portal appear in front of them, but ar  more surprised that people have come through it. Master Thomas looks on at Kazuto and Mercy with a stern look on his face. Tyler and Karen look on in wonder at the newly arrived people, wondering who made it. Suddenly, Xterly appeared behind Master Thomas, Tyler, and Karen, clutching his head. "Hey, guys... It's about time you've returned..." Said Xterly, talking to his comrades. Tyler looks on at Xterly with a stern look on his face. "Oh, hey, Xterly... Are you okay? You sound a little... Weird..." Said Tyler, talking to Xterly. Xterly stares at Tyler with a stern look on his face. "Yeah, for some reason... I feel like I went somewhere... Yet, I feel... That I haven't..." Said Xterly, talking to Tyler.

{Xion}

Xion looked a little dazed by Zion's embrace.

"Open my heart?" She thought.

She took a deep breath and regained some composure.

"Thank you." She said, looking at Astra, Ainari and Yuri.

Her gaze went up to the hovering Zion.

"We can save the worlds, but we need a place to call home first. Destiny Islands still has a little light. That should give us a safe haven to fall back to."

Xion started to walk around taking stock of who was there. She stopped by Xavvic.

"You did good." She reassured him. "Are you going to be okay?"

She realized there was a name she didn't know and turned to Lupus.

"Thank you for your help." She said to Lupus. "I'm Xion."

 

{Mercy}

Mercy fell through the portal with Kazuto, not even taking notice of Thomas, Tyler and Karin yet. She nodded to Kazuto's shouted command and started to close the portal. As it closed, a long black arm stuck through with bits of tattered cloth and armor on it. It grabbed Mercy's leg and dragged her back towards the portal.

"No!" Mercy screamed and smacked her glowing hands together.

The portal closed violently, causing a small shockwave to go out. Mercy recovered and started to get up, then yelped when she found a severed arm still grabbing on to her. She kicked it off, but it twitched and tried to grab her again. Mercy gritted her teeth and summoned her Keyblade and proceeded to stab the armor in rapid succession.

 

{Xemnas}

Behind the slumped Xemnas, a Dark Portal opened. Old Master Xehanort stepped out.

"What has happened?" The old man demanded. "Were you attacked as well?"

Xemnas straightened up and pulled his hood over his head, but left the lower half of his face visible.

"Yes, but it i was able to get away." He answered before turning around to face the old Keyblade Master.

Xehanort put his hands behind his back and started pacing.

"Several of our number have been attacked." He said. "The Heartless is still missing and Saix is in critical condition."

The Superior thought about his Heartless counterpart would had taken the name "Ansem." Lacuna had started there, but before or after her attack on the Heroes?

"Don't worry about our Ansem." Xemnas replied. "He has ways of surviving."

Master Xehanort halted his pacing directly in front of Xemnas.

"Who is a our attacker?" He demanded.

"A girl of unknown origin and power level. I intend to discover more about her."

The old man grunted his understanding and approval. He stepped away and opened a fresh portal.

"You will need to find new recruits for the XIII Darknesses if we are to continue with the plan." He said, turning back to the Nobody.

Xemnas thought about some of the people he had met back at Twilight Town.

"I might have a few prospects." He said, smiling slightly.

"I'll be fine." Said Xavvic to Xion. "I'm Xavvic." He said to Lupus

Darkshionus looks at Hex with a stern look on his face. Hex also looks on at him with a stern look on his face. "Even though our foresight isn't working as it used to, it won't matter, we still have our sheer power... We shall proceed with our plan... With our BARE hands..." Said Darkshionus, talking to Hex. Hex nods as he looks on at Darkshionus. "Very well, my lord, should we send one of our "Puppets" to begin phase two of our plan, hmmm?" Asked Hex, asking Darkshionus a question. Darkshionus smirks evilly as he looks on at Hex. "Yes, I think we should... I think we should send "Her", her skills shall prove to be useful to us... Send her to keep watch over those fools in Radiant Garden, and eventually kill them..." Said Darkshionus, talking to Hex. Hex smirks evilly as he looks on at Darkshionus. "Very well, my lord, I shall send "Her" out right away..." Said Hex, talking to Darkshionus. Tyler, Xterly, Karen, and Master Thomas look on surprised at the figure pulling at Mercy.

Zion looked....depressed.

"This is my home...I always would eat ice cream with my friends on the tower after school. We'd run around and skateboard. I used to fly between buildings after I recieved my Keyblades." She reached out for the nonexistant doors. "Will I ever see another sunset?"

Landing and letting her wings droop, Sione walked to the edge of the plaza. -What are we facing? An enemy that isn't with Xehanort?- Sione looked skyward. -What has happened.-

"...Destiny Islands..." Astra thought. "...Back home...""Hey! snap out of it" Yuri said while poking the back of Astra's head. "You can daydream all you want once we leave""Sorry, I was just thinking about something." the black coated boy said, he then looked at Lupus. "Thanks for the help, My name is Astra.""Yuri!" the white haired girl yelled."Ainari" the girl in black said before giving a small bow. "Nice to meet you""For those who can't teleport, we have a manner of transportation to Destiny Islands. We also can supply more help. Mercy gritted her teeth and summoned her Keyblade and proceeded to stab the armor in rapid succession. 

Kazuto saw the arm still grabbing onto Mercy. "Man, these heartless are relentless!" He cast Fire on the Arm, setting it ablaze and it let go of mercy, crawling away.

{Xion}

Xion gave Xavvic a pat on the arm.

"If you need anything, just say." She told him.

She walked toward Zion, but paused when she heard Astra's suggestion. She didn't like the idea of splitting up, but she couldn't deny that it would make them smaller targets. She just hopped it didn't make them too small.

"Alright, anyone who can't make it under there own power, say so. I think I can still make Dark Corridors, if needed."

Xion continued her walk to Zion. Once there, she laid a hand on the girl's arm.

"We will save this world." She tried to reassure. "I don't know what all we are fighting, but we are going to beat them."

 

{Mercy}

Mercy stabbed the arm a few more times, then stopped, heaving breaths. The arm smoldered for a moment, then started to fade.

"If it had been any closer..." She whispered.

She turned and now noticed Tyler, Thomas, Karin and Xterly. She tensed up for battle, then recognized a face.

"Your...Master Thomas, aren't you?" She asked in a slightly shaking voice.

Her forehead wrinkled as she examined her memory.

"But...you died."

She looked at Kazuto, not sure what to do.
