{Xoctts}

The sound of crashing filled the old Castle in the remains of Radiant Garden. The dim light that remained in the former world was fading as Xoctts pushed through the wreckage at one of entrances to the castle. More damage had been done to the castle since the attack on Destiny Islands by dark forces.

And the Betrayal.

Once again, Xoctts cursed the Witch's actions. Why had he trusted her? If he found the Void Witch again, he would avenge the fallen.

Feeling alone and hopeless, Xoctts leaned against a wall and slowly slid down into a sitting position.

 

{Xion}

Sora pushed himself up to his knees, the pain of his wounds nearly causing him to blackout. He looked around as his friends were being hunted down by a laughing figure.

"I'm not going to make it, am I?" He thought.

He looked down to see his wounds. He felt soo tired. But he had to do more.

"Roxas...Xion." He murmured. "This is your fight now."

Sora summoned his Kingdom Key. He turned it so that the blade was pointed towards himself and, like he had done to free Kairi's heart, he stabbed himself.

The point of view seemed to rise up as Sora slumped. He looked up in time to see a grinning face and red blades slashing for him.

"SORA!" Xion screamed as she shot up into a sitting position.

She pulled her legs to her chest and sobbed as the loneliness and sorrow filled her as she sat in the ruins of Twilight Town's Train Station.

"So..." Said Xavvic "Who do you think he is meeting? Has he done this before?" He knew that sounded like he was suspicious. They probably won't care though...right?

{Mercy}

Both Mercy and Ven listened to Master Thomas's explanation in silence. Mercy wasn't too sure she understood or believed the explanation, but then again, just a few months ago she didn't believe that the worlds could fall into the Dark Realm.

"I don't we can blame someone else for what Xehanort did." Ven said. "I know him. He started the 2nd war."

Ven's brow furrowed as he remembered the last battle with the XIII Darknesses.

"But...he did...act...odd, during the last battle. He...triggered something. Next thing I knew, we were all alone in the Realm of Light."

"So...we have more then one adversary to deal with to bring Light back." Mercy said in a tired tone.

 

{Xion}

Xion watched the capital gummi ship lift off with a bit of shock in her eyes.

"Wow." She said. "That could be useful later."

She gave Zion a shy smile.

"Sorry to spoil your surprise."

She looked at the Light Portal, her eyes reflecting the light.

"I have memories of growing up on the Islands from Sora." She said softly. "But this town is the closest I have to a home. The place I would meet my friends."

She took in a deep breath.

"We're going to save both." She declared before heading through the portal.

Once on the other side, she looked around for the others.

 

{Xemnas}

Xemnas shook his head.

"Finding dark wielders will not be hard with the new environment." He stated. "Darkness is now the norm. More will follow it. Most will accept the new norm and defend it, reveling in their new power. I need people who actually want to fix the worlds."

He eyed both Astra and Kopiu.

"Is that you?"

Suddenly, an evil laugh is heard where Ventus and the others are as Darkshionus appears behind Ventus and the others, smirking evilly at them. "That's what that foolish Thomas here is talking about, always listening to this foolish relic... We used Xehanort to cause our 2nd War, by planting a "Seed" within his Heart, although that "Seed" expired soon after, but it doesn't matter....... But, seeing how a little of the Realm of Light remained, we anticipated that... A Third Keyblade War shall be in order, this time, I shall be fully involved in it, and the rest of my original self's forces shall finally show themselves after waiting in the shadows for twelve years... You see, during the years after Xetrodon and I escaped our imprisonment, I looked for members for our own Thirteen Seekers of Darkness, to use in our plan in case Xehanort's own Thirteen Seekers of Darkness were no longer needed if they failed to keep the X-Blade intact,  while Xetrodon went on a quest to find "Something", to bring about something "Special", by the time that your Heart split, Ventus, we completed our group with our fifteenth member... After that, we manipulated Xehanort's movements, and we stayed hidden in the shadows, watching his movements to hopefully watch our plan in action... Since that most of the Worlds are in the Realm of Darkness as planned, I explored these Worlds to get an insight on the newborn World that was "Born" here, which led to our conflict before I started plans to take over another reality... By sending a Replica of myself to it, and inflict the same events on it, and then, the two realities would've fused, and became a much bigger Realm of Darkness, but my plan got some interference... But that no longer matters... All of the remaining Light shall be wiped out, and allow only Darkness to course through our new Universe..." Said Darkshionus, talking to Ventus' group in Radiant Garden. Master Thomas quickly turns around and summons his Keyblade and points it at him. Tyler, Xterly, and Karen summon their Keyblades and point them at him as well. "You've got some nerve to show your face here, Xatsuno..." Said Master Thomas, talking to Darkshionus. Darkshionus smirks evilly at Master Thomas as he let's out an evil laugh. "Well, well, well, my "Old Friend", it's a shame that you will have to fall one more time... I don't know how you managed to survive our last battle, you were lucky that you were somehow transported to that other reality... But no matter, the plan that our original self left within our Wills, we shall carry it out as planned..." Said Darkshionus, talking to Master Thomas.

{Astra}

The silver haired boy listened to the Superior in silence as he spoke.

"You are right. People will flock to the new "Light" and will try anything to defend it."

Astra then pushed himself from the wall he was leaning and nodded at Xemnas'

"Like I said before. I will help you. And if I am correct, both Yuri and Aina will lend us their help without any doubt, they are denizens from the Realm of Darkness after all, I am sure they want to help their how realm."

 

{Yuri and Ainari}

"So...Who do you think he is meeting? Has he done this before?"

"Well, he likes to disappear from time to time" Yuri replied.

"It is normal for him. And I think he is with that man from before, then one who looks like him." The black haired girl said.

"Uh...Xemnas, right?" Yuri asked.

"That is right. But I wonder why Xemnas wanted to meet with Astra? And who is the other person with them, his scent is not familiar to me" 

Ainari said with a confused look on her face. That was until she felt other presences.

"The others have arrived to the island."

"Xemmnas is probably striking a deal with him..." Xavvic said. "But that's to be discussed later. Let's get the others."

Kazuto immediately summoned his keyblade. "So....SO YOUR DARKSHIONUS! YOUR THE ONE WHO PLUNGED THE WORLDS INTO DARKNESS!!!" Kazuto ran towards him and did a quick flurry of blows to catch him off guard.

Kopiu stayed quiet letting the conversation go on around him. He tried to process what was going on. Xemnas wanted him to be part of his new organization? Those of the darkness? Kopiu wasn't sure he wanted that, not at all. When it finally came time for Kopiu to give his answer, he spoke. "No. I refuse to be a dark. Riku gave me a second chance to live and travel my own path, free of any chains. I may not walk the road to dawn, but it sure isn't the road to dusk." Kopiu turned and spawned a new dark corridor, one that would lead him out. "Now, do either of you have any information regarding the whereabouts of the Witch, Lacuna? I'm... looking for her." Kopiu asked about to leave.

 

Lupus smiled when both of the girls accepted her into their group. She leaped through the dawn gate, landing on the other side. She instantly switched to wolf form , and started to sniff around the area, attempting to find any suspicious scents.

{Mercy}

Mercy used Light to form a protective aura around Kazuto as Ven rallied and joined Kazuto's blitz of Darkshionus.

"Come on!" Ven called out. "When can take him down!"

 

{Xemnas}

Xemnas nodded to Astra.

"Good." He said. "I will call you later. Till then, help the Lights. They will need it."

The Superior turned to go, but stopped as Kopiu spoke.

"I was...afraid you would say that." He replied. "Though it was to be expected. If you will not join the Darkness, then join the Light. Isn't that the point of the Road to Dawn? You have a choice."

There was a pause.

"I don't know where Lacuna is, but I doubt she has gone into hiding. She will try to kill me again. She will try to kill Xion. She may even try for you, who knows?"

He turned to look back at Astra and Kopiu.

"So be on your guard."

With that Xemnas formed a dark portal behind him and stepped through, closing it behind him.

 

{Xion}

Xion smiled at Lupus. She reached out to pet the wolf but stopped half way there.

"Um...is that okay?" She asked, unsure.

She looked around and saw Xavvic, Yuri and Ainari together.

"Hey!" She called out and waved at them.

She had a flash back of Sora waving to Riku, Kairi and Tidus before finishing thing his boat to the dock. That's why he liked this place.

Darkshionus let's out an evil laugh as he sees the attacks coming at him, as he summons the Passageway To Darkness Keyblade into his hand, and uses it to try to block Kazuto and Ventus' attacks. "Oh, I forgot to mention something... You know about Tyler, Xterly's and MY new Weapons? They didn't come from the feelings within the Keyblades, they were "Chosen" by "Something", they are Legendary Weapons that existed alongside Kingdom Hearts besides the X-Blade... They may be weaker than the X-Blade itself, but they have "Special Powers", which was why Xetrodon went to track them down... Do you want to know why we want to use them for? Well, too bad... Because the time isn't right to tell any of YOU!!! So, I'll be taking tho two Keyblades that your "Friends" that Tyler and Xterly are using now!!!" Shouted Darkshionus, talking to Ventus. Darkshionus emits an Aura of Pure Darkness, which causes the ground to slightly shake, and Darkshionus goes ahead and tries to pushes Kazuto and Ventus away from him using his Keyblade, and creates a cloud of Darkness, which he slashes at, and a barrage of silver-colored Firaga spells, Tempo Firaga, emerges from a ball of Darkness that formed after the cloud of Darkness was destroyed, and the spells go flying at Kazuto and Ventus. Tyler casts Barrierga, and summons a blue-colored Barrier around Kazuto and Ventus to try to protect him from Darkshionus' attacks. Tyler then jumps at Darkshionus and starts to lock Keyblades with him. "You won't get away with your plan!!" Shouted Tyler, talking to Darkshionus. Darkshionus smirks evilly as he locks Keyblades with Tyler. "In your dreams, boy!!!" Shouted Darkshionus, talking to Tyler.

Zion had flown behind Xion, and hugged her tightly from behind.

"It's ok. I'm stealing a hug as compensation."

Letting Xion go, she stayed beside slightly, her wings fading to a soft gold, looking more real.

She just looked around, slightly interested.

{Astra}The Silver haired boy looked at Kopiu and nodded."The Road to Light, The Road to Darkness, The Road to Dawn or The Road to Dusk. Whatever you choose, make sure it is your own path, not someone else"Astra bowed at Kopiu and turned to leave."And I apologize, but I have no information about the Void Witch"With that Astra left the secret cave and want back to the shore.{Yuri and Ainari}Both girls nodded and followed Xavvic back. Once in the shore they saw Xion waving at them."Hello!" Ainari said while waving back."Why are you doing that?" Yuri asked."She looks like she is having fun. so why not?"The white haired girl stared at Xion and couldn't resist the urge to wave at her for some reason."See?" Ainari said while smiling."Shut up" Yuri huffed and turned her head. She then noticed Astra was walking towards them. "You took your time!"Astra just raised his hand to apologize.

The spells hit the barrier, and destroyed it, taking the spells with it. Kazuto ran to Darkshionus and jumped into the air, did a reversal around him, and quickly did 2 side strikes, a vertical spin, and finished with putting his keyblade behind his back, and did a powerful strike through him. "ZANTETSKUKEN!" He went through him, and looked back at Darkshionus.

"It is okay."said Xavvic to Astra. "We were not doing that much"

{Mercy}

"Don't think darkness can save you." Mercy growled as she started to glow. "Light will burn you to-"

From her shadow, something stood up behind her and struck the back of her head. Mercy's eyes rolled into her head and fell forward to be caught by a tentacle snaked around her waist. As her glow died down, a dark mass formed a figure in dark robes and armor, though one arm was now a long tentacle.

"Hurm." Vanfore hissed as he watched the battle with Darkshionus.

Ven, feeling weak from his long travels and the fight, pushed himself onto his feet. He looked back to see Vanfore holding Mercy.

"Hey!" He yelled, readying his Keyblade.

The dark hood turned and multifaceted eyes looked out from the black then in a swirl of Darkness, both Mercy and Vanfore was gone.

 

{Xion}

Xion laughed a little at Zion's hug.

"I'm okay with that." She said.

She walked towards Xavvic, Astra, Yuri and Ainari.

"We should be safer here. Now we can start making plans on what to do."

Master Thomas looks surprised at what Vanfore did. He clenches a fist tightly as he helplessly watches him take Mercy away. Tyler let's out a gasp, but he get's thrown away by Darkshionus, of who, at the same time was hit by Kazuto's attack, and also sent to a wall. Darkshionus let's out an evil laugh as wisp of Darkness enter his body, as the Aura of Darkness envelopes him. "Hehehehe..... Hahahahaha!!! Yes!!! I have enough Energy!!! Time for me... To assume... MY ORIGINAL FORM!!!" Shouted Darkshionus, talking to himself out loud. Suddenly, bolts of Pure Darkness strike down at Darkshionus and a flash of purple-colored Light would blind the area, and when the Light clears up, Darkshionus isn't seen, in his place, Xatsuno looks on at Kazuto and the others evilly. He looks like the Xatsuno Replica that was seen in Kingdom Hearts: Vanguard, but without the Mask-like helmet, and an evil upside down-like version of the Keyblade Master Symbol is seen embedded on his chest on the center of his Armor, his violet-colored eyes gaze on Kazuto and Tyler as he let's out an evil laugh, as his long silver-colored hair waves around in the Wind. "Ah, it feels good to be back in my true form... The name is Xatsuno!!! The name "Darkshionus" has now been tossed aside!!!" Said Xatsuno, talking to his enemies. Tyler tries to run at Xatsuno, and tries to slash at him, but Xatsuno creates multiple pillars of Pure Darkness, and sends them flying at Tyler and Kazuto using telekinesis. "Don't be so reckless... Our true battle shall come at another time... I shall depart back to the lair... Good bye, for now... And Tyler, and Xterly, be aware that those two Keyblades that you posses shall be mine, and you shall all be on your knees..." Said Xatsuno, talking to Tyler and the others. Xatsuno teleports away in an electrical beam of Darkness, as Tyler puts away his Keyblade and clenches his fist tightly.  "Darn it... He got away... AGAIN... He won't... Get away with this..." Thought Tyler, mentally thinking to himself in his head.

Kazuto looked towards Mercy getting grabbed by a dark mass. "HEY, LET GO OF HER!" He ran towards her, and as the darkness swirled, and Mercy was being kidnapped, Kazuto held his hand out towards her. "NO, MERCY!!!!" He lunged towards the portal, but Mercy and Vanfore were gone. He punched the ground, cursing himself for not being able to help her. He then turned back to Darkshionus to see him changing into a new form.

Kazuto stood helplessly as Xatsuno had dissapeared. He quickly tried to throw his keyblade at him, but he dissapeared and his keyblade hit nothing, cluttering to the floor. He fell on his knees, as his keyblade de-materialized as he de-summoned it. "Mercy........DAMN IT!" He punched the ground again. "I.....I couldn't save her, it all happened so fast......" He clenched his fists and stood back up. I swear, i will find you Mercy, i'll save you. He walked over to Tyler. "Ok......So what do we do now?" He said, his voice a bit shaky, "We've lost Mercy, and Xatsuno is gone, we have no leads on where they are.....What are we going to do now?" He looked down, in defeat.

Zion smiled softly.

"You're fun to hug." She told Xion quietly.

She then looked around at the others. "So...we gotta stop the end of all worlds. I say we start at the place that needs the most help."

"No." Xavvic said. "We go to the least first. Make that our 2nd base. Then go to the hardest."

Astra nodded at Xion and crossed his arms.

"Whatever you decide, I will help you"

Yuri raised her hand and nodded.

"Me too."

Ainari smiled and pointed at Astra and Yuri

"I was thinking the same thing as them."

Kopiu nodded to Xemnas, and then to Astra. "Thanks." The replica said, before stepping fully into the dark corridor. It closed behind him.

 

Lupus morphed back to human form to take place in the conversation. "How 'bout a compromise? We split up, go to a place that doesn't need help, set up camp, and also send a strike team to a place that needs help." Lupus suggested. She was still getting used to the human way of doing things. For one, talking was really necessary, but it came naturally to her. There also didn't seem to be an alpha male in her current pack.

Xavvic had a shocked expression all over his face. "You weren't an illusion...?" He reached out his hand.

Lupus stepped back a little from Xavvic. "Ummmm, no?" Lupus said, timidly. This human was strange.... very strange. Her hand went to her knife instinctively. "Why exactly would you think that in the first place?" Lupus questioned Xavvic.

"Sometimes... My darkness plays tricks on me" Xavvic said " I just thought you were one" he retracted his hand

{Ventus}

Ven dropped to his knees, looking exhausted. He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them, determination in his eyes.

"We find Mercy and rescue her." He said firmly.

He got up on his feet, twirling his Keyblade to keep himself pumped up. He couldn't stop being on the move, or his fatigue would overwhelm him.

"We don't leave our friends in danger."

 

{Xion}

Xion thought a moment on the suggestions her new friends were throwing around.

"We would only be clearing out Heartless and the like for more to come in." She said, shaking her head. "We need to find a way to keep them out."

A thought sparked in her head.

"Like Light. If we can use light to push darkness out, we can keep heartless at bay."

Another idea surfaced in her mind.

"The Princesses." She said, starting to sound excited. "We can get the Princesses of Heart to help supply Light. They should have the easiest time summoning light in the Realm of Darkness."

She blinked, looked confused for a moment, then looked around at the group.

"Splitting up is dangerous, but it will help us cover more ground. And maybe more allies."

She looked at Xavvic.

"Our next easiest place should be Radiant Garden. Some of the self defense systems still work."

Her eyes widened as she considered something.

"Any of Xoctts's agents that weren't there when Lacuna ambushed might be there." She said, sounding a little hopeful.

She turned to Zion, though she seemed to not really be looking as she was concentrating on something else.

"The deepest dark here is the Keyblade Graveyard." She said slowly, remembering through Sora's eyes the last battle before the Fall. "It fell first."
