( This is my personal opinion: please don't get you whatnots in a bunch because of anything I say )

 

 

In the Catching Fire novel, heroine Katniss faces off in the terrible Quarter Quell against past Hunger Games winners: 

in the movie, Jennifer Lawrece plays with a bow, and wears make up. FAIL num 1. 

 

Katniss is supposedly plain, so FAIL num. 2: Peta loses a leg, and I was told he gets a slight lipm in the film, but keeps his limbs. ( I can't confirm this, os sorry if it's wrong.)

 

Not to piss on movie goers, but I've been increasingly unhappy with movie adaptions lately: first that nightmare that is the Percy Jackson films, no this nonsense. 

 

I shudder to think about Max Ride and Rot and Ruin's screen adaptions. 

 

Ok, rant over: thank you for your time. 

 

( I repeat: This is MY personal, none~demanding, opinion: I'm not asking you to agree or disagree, I'm simply stating my own beliefs based on what I think about the movie trailers. Any movie~lovers, carry on: I'm not here to piss on anyone's fanning. )

Just coming here means you'll get spoiled anyway if you haven't read the book and/or watched the movie. What else would a rant be about?

Have you, uh, have you seen the movie?

Things get left out of moive all the time. I haven't read the books yet. But the movies are great. That's all I care. As long as they are enjoyable, who cares what is left out of them?

I have read the book, but haven't seen the movie. My mom said we can go see it on Friday. So, yeah...

Peeta loses his leg in the hunger games, it wouldn't make sense if he suddenly had a fake leg after seeing him in shipshape after the hunger games.

I'm still a little upset they left out the part with the two refugees from district 8 moving to district 13. But I have to say, this book to movie adaptation was pretty spot on. There was little or no changes to important scenes, and what they cut out (which I can understand, since the movie would be really long) wasn't completely vital to the story.

Overall I thought the movie was pretty spot on with the book sure there were things that they left out from the book but overall I think that they did a pretty good job. every book to movie is going to have stuff taken out that aren't important to the series or aren't really going to effect the story at all.

I'm just a bookworm, and I always read the books first: Sorry if I get pissy over this, but's it's HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE all over again.

( FYI, movie version left out first eight chapters of the book. )

LOL I know right like the Harry Potter movies 4, 5, 6, are just so terrible I can't even watch them. 7 is was pretty good wish they would of done what they did with 7 for the 4 5 6 movies
