The most for an individual item was a little over $100, added all up its probably $200-250

I don't buy myself gifts that often for Christmas, I'm stingy

Typical range for something I would say is $20-50

I never actually bought myself a christmas present because the little money I got from EMA was going on family presents during that month.

But now, I'll honestly just buy what I want depending on whether or not I'm doing anything expensive that week (I have £40 a week after spending a chunk of my loan until January when the next installment comes in where I'll have like £120 something a week).  I bought myself Resonance of Fate(£12?), Make Up Brushes (£12), some clothes (£30), think I'll treat myself to a Link between Worlds (KH games are usually the ones ones I buy when they come out) and will be getting a new tv in January.

I don't really see them as christmas presents since I don't wrap them, I just happen to  be buying stuff around Christmas time for myself.

I usually have about a $25 range, but I also only buy for immediate family on Christmas because I'm a stingy bastard like that.

I only care that the present has meaning:

My aunt got me socks one year, because mine were all worn out.

Cost about 11 bucks, but the price was meaningless compared to the thought and love behind it.

I do that on my own shopping: I bought my mom a snowglobe of her fav cartoon character: 7 bucks, pure joy.

This year, who knows, but I'm thinking of a 20 buck range to get that shirt she wants.

My cousin's getting nuthin. >->

Wow...

Thanks. :S

No idea. I don't really buy gifts for myself, though.

I love recieving any gift (Handmade ones are amazing!)

This year I'd love a new computer specifically, since I'm getting into animation and video editing. And my own has deteriorated completely.

It's a very expensive purchase, so I'm not raising my hopes up. :P

Well, I have two responses for this. One is how much I'd pay for someone else. I barely get any money, so I usually just scavenge around to see if there's anything I don't want anymore that my friends might want. The other is how much my parents would get for me. Right now, they're still stuck deciding if they want to get me a Wii U, so...yeah...not too high at the moment.

The gifts I get for my friends are usually $30-40, and I'll usually get myself something nice, maybe $200 on up. I typically don't spend much on myself anyway, so for Christmas and my birthday, I tend to go all out.
