December 24, 201312 yr I think I can sum up the biggest problem with Sonic like this: Sure the games got better with Colors and Generations,but those games doesn't have the same passion and risk taking courage that the series used to have during the 90s up until 2004 Sure I'll get the next Sonic game anyway,but I won't be hyped for it at all or even make it on a top 10 must have games list And I hate how they tossed away every single character and just made Sonic do everything alone....it's Dragonball GT all over again The reason for other characters to be around is to develop Sonic,help him and show more about his characters,if he's gonna be just super hyper Ultimate mega deity Sonic that can walk on water and do everything alone while everyone is useless,why should I care? And since they got rid of the boost,why can't they make other characters playable???Just look at Super Mario 3D World,that's the perfect example on how multiple characters in a platforming games should be.....hell,Sonic 3 & Knuckles did it perfectly just like Mario 3D world : make the characters control similarly but give them their own unique abilities Why can't Sonic Team do that,why are they so afraid to bring back Sonic's friends??Why make this huge cast of characters,only to toss them aside for almost 6 years just to make Sonic look like a perfect being? I want the next Sonic game to have multiple playable characters like Tails,Knuckles and Shadow.....otherwise it's gonna be another Sonic game that barely anyone will care about. C,mon Sonic Team,have the balls to do something courageous and beautiful that bring Sonic back to his former glory

In Dragonball GT.....if your name isn't Goku...DO NOT MATTER like in Sonic,EVERYONE IN GT IS WORTHLESS:VEGETA IS WORTHLESS,GOHAN,PICCOLO,TRUNKS.....EVERYONE THAT ISN'T GOKU IS TOSSED ASIDE GT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE but still the perfect comparison I can make And in recent Sonic games,everyone that isn't Sonic is worthless,Knuckles is doing nothing and totally forgot about the Master Emerald,Tails has been reduced into an exposition device and nothing else,Shadow doesn't exist,Rouge,Omega,the Chaotix,Blaze....EVERYONE IS DOING NOTHING WHILE SONIC IS TRYING TO PRETEND THAT He's the christ Sonic and Goku are killing their franchises in the same way,that's why I made the comparison....if you just played the recent Sonic games from Unleashed up to Generations you'll know what I mean

I thought Pan was pretty important, otherwise Goku would have stayed a Great Ape. If Vegeta was so useless why would Baby take him over? Trunks was pretty useful in space, and I'm sure Goten would have been too. It's hard for characters to be "useful" if they have been taken over by Baby. And against the Evil Dragons, they tried, they might have been too weak to help but they tried.
