It is the second day at Beacon, you are on the cliffs with a bunch of strangers...or friends (decide amongst yourselves) and are about to start your very first trial: falling.  Crazy old Ozpin is telling everyone to have a landing strategy.  It is up to you to take the first step.  Begin!

 

 

Ozpin and Glynda's speech:

 

 

Everyone currently stood on the cliffs, standing on some kind of platform.  For some reason, each platform having the school's insignia.  Ozpin and Ms. Goodwitch were standing before them, it was kind of exciting and nerve racking all at the same time.  What were they going to tell the students.

 

"For years you have trained to become warriors," the gray haired man began, as he addressed all the students.  "Today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest.""Now," Glynda continued, "I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams.  Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion.  Each of you will be given teammates, today.""These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time, here at Beacon.  So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone whom you can work well.  That being said, first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years."

 

There were an abundant of reactions, ranging from both sides of the spectrum.  It would continue for the rest of the authority figures' speech.  Regardless, Ozpin continued."After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest.  You will meet opposition along the way.  Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path or you will die.  You will be monitored and graded for the duration of the initiation, but our instructors will not intervene.  You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics.  Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff.  You will guard that item, as well as your standing, and we will grade you appropriately.  Are there any questions?"

 

 

 

And with those last couple of words, one by one everyone prepared to be tossed into the air.  Whether anyone responded or not, did not matter.  Ozpin already had a set answer.

 

"Good.  Now, take your positions."For some reason, someone always had a question about the landing strategy and so the gray haired man answered accordingly.

 

"No, you will be falling,"

"Oh great, some guy is asking questions," Haru thought.  "What an idiot."

"No, you will be using your own landing strategy."

 

And with that, everyone was tossed into the air.  Haru, felt very natural in the air, holding his backpack as he flipped and twisted a couple times, somehow avoiding mysteriously placed crows. *cough* Monty *cough*  He decided to try and stay in the air for as long as possible, it seemed fun that way.  He spread his arms in the air, picking up a bountiful of air resistance."This is great!" the white haired boy yelled out, diverting some of the other first years' attention.

 

He looked around to see the possible competition, as well as teammates.

 

"Now which one of you are my future teammates?"

Vyona and Nami felt a dark figure glide over them and they both looked up to see that it was a nevermore. Vyona stopped on one of her magic circles and tossed Nami onto another one nearby. She almost slipped off but managed to climb back on. The hard gush of wind hit them like a wave and Nami clung to the platform by her hands while Vyona simply pulled out her staff while withstanding the winds. . With the wind still running rampant throughout the woods, Vyona readied her staff, the core of it starting to glow red. Nami looked down to see that another pair was near by the beast already. "Hey, watch out for t-" "Don't care." Vyona closed one eye and waved her staff downward. A giant fireball was hurling towards the Nevermore and managed to hit it dead center, knocking it backward. Vyona pumped her fist in the air, satisfied. "Yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about." "Great now it's awake." Nami said as she point towards the Nevermore. It seemed to recoil and appeared enraged. Vyona smirked. "So what? It's still less of a challenge for me. Off we go." The magic circles under them skyrocketed them into the air. Vyona was ready with her staff while Nami's body was flailing in the before she could regain her balance and pull out her rifle.

"Davis! This isn't a good idea! That thing could kill us!" Yuki yelled, trying to get out of his arms. "If you want to fight it, at least let me help!" She snapped.

"We're gonna be fine, don't worry!" He yelled, latching onto a rock above them with his weapon, he looked at Yuki. "If you're sure you want to climb, that's fine with me." He said, helping her onto the rocks next to him. "But let's be quick about it- I'm ready for a nice fight!" He yelled, pulling himself up with the chains, he shot the blade off of the other one, hooking it onto the near-top of the cliff. The blustering winds made it harder to climb, but with the blade holding itself in the wall, Davis began climbing up there.

 

 

Being hit with a fireball is not a very good way to get woken up. The Nevermore was nearly knocked off of its perch. Unfortunately for the students, the Nevermore wouldn't go down that easily. Angered at being unceremoniously awakened, it took off. It was too high up to notice Davis and Yuki climbing the cliff, or Nami and Vyona in the treetops, but it began to slowly circle downward. Thankfully, it wasn't fast enough to produce a twister like before, but the usual gusts were troublesome enough. It was only a matter of time until it spotted some prey, and attacked.

 Aria looked up at the Nevermore as it circled above them. She squinted her eyes in order to see the Grimm better. "That's a really realistic Grimm the Beacon is pulling." She laughed as she spotted some students going after the Nevermore. "Is it really worth going after a Grimm that's just peacefully flying there?" It was obvious she doesn't notice the Nevermore about to strike.

Yuki leapt up, getting beside Davis and nodding. "I do..." She said, welding her Nekomata and changing it to its rocket launcher mode. It was rather scary being up this high.

"Good. Fire it, and wait for me to give you a signal to attack again." Davis said, looking at the Nevermore.

(K this is what's happening.  One team will get the Deathstalker, another the Nevermore, and lastly Four King Taijitu, yup four.  The future leaders are supposed to be Davis, Vyona and Haru.  Sooo to defeat the Grimm, your WHOLE team has to work together to defeat it, around the same vicinity and the leaders have to show some trait that will earn them that kind of leadership.)

As everyone had arrived and finally finished picking their respective pieces, it was finally time to go to the cliffs.  Everyone had to end up there.  The problem was, there was a large Nevermore in their way.  It's gusts rattled the forests and caused many of the smaller Grimm to disappear into the shadows completely, but being pelted by a large fireball was the worst thing that anyone could have done.  At that moment, it shrieked, and guess what?  It was a call.  The biggest of the big would show up.

 

The Deathstalker in the cave had heard it and came out to play, as well as three more King Taijitu and the one half dead had woken up.  This was going to be a huge battle.

 

"Shit," Haru said, a little out of it.  "Those are three Tai-" he paused, looking to the left of the forest.  

 

Something was rustling through it, disturbing the peace.  Out popped a Deathstalker.

 

"Guys, we have to go!  Right now, we're gonna get cornered!" he yelled, trying to command the group of people.  "We'll have to deal with them at a better spot!"

 

He jumped up, off his seat on the steps began to run.  Heeding everyone else to do so also.

Ozpin and Glynda continued to watch their futuristic tablet type of technology, looking at their predicament.

 

"Should we help?" Glynda asked.  "These are the most kinds of dangerous Grimm ever appearing."Ozpin, the headmaster just stayed silent, eyeing the screen.

"Not in particular..." Syfe didn't finish before he spotted some commotion. "A Nevermore..." He spoke in a hushed tone. Then Haru jumped up, and began calling out orders.

Syfe looked around him, at the King Taijitu, the Deathstalker, and the Nevermore. "We should probably run Heian. Unless socializing is still your first priority..." Syfe said to his partner, beginning to run towards some ruins. Syfe, for once, wasn't so sure of himself. In his studies, he knew that all of the Grimm he was facing at the moment were extremely powerful, much more so than any normal ones. He pulled out his pistols, and laid down some covering fire at the Deathstalker. He grimaced, realizing that teamwork would really be the only way.

 

(Maybe you should clarify which team gets which beast?)

(You guys can call your Grimm, we'll do the three Taijitu + half damaged since we already touched it before.)

Heian flicked his weapon, its shape taking on that of a bow.

"Nah, I'd rather live than talk to a few people. How the heck do you know the names of these things? I just call them big snake, werewolf, angry bear...eh, you get the idea." Heian said, drawing his bow. Several arrows appeared along the notch, Heian firing off every single one of them. They became lances of light the arced for the various monsters of Grimm, none of them missing their mark.

(K, so Team DASY = Nevermore.  Team VNSH = Deathstalker.  Team HAVC = 4 King Taijitu.)

 

"1 on the right.  2 to the left," Haru uttered to himself, devising a strategy.  "Another getting up and the scorpion running towards the bridge also."Haru kept running, he had a plan, but he didn't know everyone's powers.  He had to guess by what weapons they had.  It was a make it or break it situation.  He was going to decide for everyone once they retreated to a much more suitable area for kicking ass.

chase pulled out his sword and looked at the king taijitu. " welp let's go veronica who ever else had the knight come on" chase said. he knew he wouldn't get leadership but he wasn't going to sit and wait for orders for five minutes either. he eyes one of the white ones and smiled slightly. " well who ever wanst to step up to the plate of leadership out of us four step up now" he said watchin gthe sly movements of the 4 beasts. he cracked his neck slightly and looked at the other two people who grabbed a knight. " also could we real quick get powers out of the way to see how well they go together' chase asked tail swaying like crazy mathcing the snakes movements.

Vyona and Nami were plummeting towards the ground. Under them were some people from the temple they saw not too long ago. Not only that but another large Grimm was there as well. "Is that...a deathstalker?" ​Vyona snickered. "Ugh, why is this one bigger than the ursa i saw earlier." "What? Getting nervous now? What happened to little miss tough Blondie a second ago?" Nami picked up her speed towards the ground and landing on her feet safely due to her semblance. (Crap. What the hell am I suppose to do. I can't possibly work with them down there can I? No that just goes against my morals.....but...) Vyona frowned and picked up her speed downward towards the Deathstalker and landed hard on its back, avoiding the stinger. She pointed her staff towards the other three in the area. "Alright maggots!" Vyona shouted "If you're going to even make it out of this battle in one piece then I suggest you follow under my command for the time being." She jumped up high off of the Grimm and into the air. Ice spikes formed around her at the wave of her staff and the rocketed towards the deathstalker. "CHARGE!" Nami looked up at Vyona and sighed. (Gah, you idiot. You call that getting along with them? Close enough then.) Nami split her rapier into two guns. She looked over towards the other two. "Well you heard her, attack that thing." Nami proceed to pound her fingers against the triggers, firing as if they were machine guns.

Alvis ran beside Haru. "One Taijitu isn't too much of a problem, but four? You have got to be kidding me..." At least one is injured... but still.

Veronica looked at all the commotion. She pulled out her hammer. "C'mon Chase! It's time to fight!" She made her way out of the temple, coincidentally in the same direction that Haru and Alvis went.

Haru, contemplating, did the best he could at a moment of stress.  "What is that guy doing?  We aren't at a safe spot yet?" he yelled, in response to Chase's actions.  "Damn it!"Noticing, Vyona and Nami come back was a sigh of relief and even more when Vyona started to command everyone else. 

 

"Good! You take care of them.  Alvis!  We're going to aid those two."

 

Haru began to run backwards to the direction of the four snakes as well as the scorpion who seemed to travel at a faster pace.  First obstacle was dodging and leading the scorpion to the others, who can take care of it.(There are still two people, I think Aria and Sora who are not here right now, but they are part of Team DASY so I'm sure it's not much of a bother for us to move on.  We can just assume they followed the pack and whatnot.  If anything, I'll take blame and they can always retcon.)

Heian kept firing off his arrows, watching as each and every one landed with perfect accuracy. He winced, feeling a warm wetness covers his fingers. Heian took his hand back and stared at it. Covering his right hand was blood, which didn't seem to come from any particular wound.

"Pushing myself too hard.." He mumbled, clutching his fist as the blood dripped onto the grass, "Need to switch." He mumbled, letting the weapon become a sword as he began to rasp. His vision was becoming cloudy. Perhaps he had lost more blood than he had thought.

chase nodded and took his hat off before charging one."  this is new the white taijitu have no feeling whiel the black ones are swelling over with pride" chase said quickly dodging small attacks. " veronica come on we'll handle the black ones you two get the white ones " chase said pressing the button on the dagger draging the blade lightly againest the ground when it was full sword. " welp good luck guys don't die" chase said cheerfully charging the closes black taijitu.

 

 

(Quick Recap: Davis and Yuki are dealing with the Nevermore currently in the air doing god knows what.Vyona and Nami have come back and are taking charge of the rest of the group.Chase and Veronica decided to stay behind to deal with the Taijitus.Haru, noticing this, decides to aid their effort and also commanding Alvis to come with him.Sora and Aira are assumed to have joined the group in their retreat.This leaves....Team HAVC going to deal with the Taijitus.Sora and Aira have yet meet up with the rest of their team, team DASY.Team VNSH seems to be all together +2. The 4 Taijitus as well as the Death Stalker are behind everyone, currently heading towards the bridge.  The Death Stalker is slightly faster, so it will eventually pass Team HAVC after some kind of event.  The 4 snakes will eventually catch up to the same team and they will have to deal with them.  The last, Nevermore will probably come back and play a bigger role when Sora and Aira's RPers are available.)

 Staring up silently as two students fought Nevermore, she knew the other students were working extremely hard defeating the other Grimms. "Mmm, do I have to be involved in this. I can't fly." Aria mumbled as she was right above the Nevermore. The gusts of wind the flying Grimm was giving out caused her to move a bit. 'If the wind gets any harder, I'll probably fall down the bridge.' She shuttered at the thought.

Vyona landed hard on the ground. She was going to sharply reply back to the boy's statement but she ther was no time for that. She needed to take his suggestion into consideration. Nami stopped shooting to reload and looked over to Vyona who was just squatted down on the ground, thinking. She frowned. (Dammit, this is no time to taking a break.) She noticed the Deathwalker making its way quickly to the bridge and went after it, with her rapier ready. (With the skills that I have to utilize right now....what can we do...) Something hit Vyona and she sprung up from the ground. "That's it!" (Nami can hold the grimm in the air with her semblance and the boy with the arrows can shoot at it through the center. The other boy can charge the arrow with his semblance while i can also charge it with my staff.)  She looked over to see the deathstalker making it's way quickly towards the bridge. She sighed, a bit frustrated and called over to the other two guys. "You two, get over here. I 've got something." She turned in the direction Nami was running off to and cupped her hands around her mouth. "Catch up to the grimm so you can use your semblance on it to hold it in the air." Nami heard Vyona and frowned. "Easier said than done.." she muttered and picked up the speed to catch up to it

(Btw, all Taijitu have white and black sides) "It's better if we isolate them one by one.  4v4 sounds great at first, but that means we'll be fighting 7 heads at once!' Haru yelled, catching up to the two.

 

His arm was still hurting, but the situation definitely numbed the feeling.  It was kind of exciting and at the same time it was terrifying.  One moment, you could look cool and the next you were dead.  It was both sides of the extreme.  He extended his hand outwards and created 4 mirrors in front of the seven heads, reflecting each one of their faces.

 

"We play by my rules and we stay alive.  Number one priority is staying alive!"
