So I am home for Christmas and playing Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PS2 and I'm going to beat the game on proud mode and I realized how badly you need magic in this one to actually beat the game...who would have thought.

Not really,I used magic in KH2 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less than I did in the first game

Exactly .I rarely used magic if at all.

Really? I mean granted I did to when I was younger and just mashed buttons but now after I have trained myself into using an attack magic combo I feel like it makes the game easier but also almost a necessity.

There are three things that you will be safe in boss battles : Reaction Commands,Magics and Growth abilities. So yeah, good luck with that! xD

Honestly the only time I used magic was against Demyx because Fire with Wisdom form makes him an absolute joke

Other than that the only spell that I ever used after this is Curaga and I used the other spells once in the puzzle during the second visit to Agrabah

You just need some level up and you should be good . Proud mode always needs that .

if you learn how to use reflega you become a boss :P but i only usually use curaga and that's it :)

Honestly I should just wait for 2.5 for proud.

I also didn't really like the magic you only use cure or reflect.
