Keimei looked around at the crowd in the center plaza of the Starting Town. "Why was I just taken here...?" She asked aloud. She'd only been playing for a couple hours, and had decided to get into the combat system before finding anyone to team up with. She looked around the crowd, noticing a lot of other people were also teleporting there. Suddenly, the sky above her turned blood red. A cloaked figure appeared over the square, and hovered there.

 

"Hello everyone, and welcome to SAO." A voice boomed over the crowd. "You're likely wondering who I am... My true identity will remain secret. However, I will tell you this; I have hacked into SAO. Some of you may have noticed that there isn't a log-out button... That's because I've removed the option to log out. I've trapped you all in the game..." He paused, as the crowd was dead silent. He eventually continued. "Why have I done this? Simple. I've wanted a world of my liking. In this world, I've surpassed even the game's creator, Kayaba Akihiko. Here, I control you all... Unless, of course, you can clear all 100 floors. However, that's impossible..." He cackled. "Also, to warn you... If you die in the world of SAO, the NerveGear will fry your brain in the real world, killing you in both. If anyone attempts to remove your NerveGear, you will also die. Now then, before I leave, I have a gift for you..." Suddenly, a mirror appeared in Keimei's inventory. She used it, out of curiosity. There was a sudden flash of light, and she shut her eyes...

 

When she opened her eyes, she felt different. She looked into the mirror... That's... my real face in the mirror... She looked in horror. Aside from her hair color, which was the same shade of red that she'd made it in-game, she looked exactly like she did in real life.

 

"Now then... With this, I must leave. Good luck in Aincrad... You'll need it." A maniacal laughter echoed along the buildings, as the figure disappeared.

 

After the echoes, there was silence. After what felt like ages, people began rioting. "We're doomed!" "I can't be trapped in the game, I've got a meeting in an hour!" "That had to all be some sick joke!" Keimei looked around in confusion. She didn't know what to do. She looked around frantically.

 

I have to get out... The only way to do that is to fight, and I'll need partners... Man, I really wish my friends had been able to get the game so I wouldn't be alone in this. She dashed through town, weaving her way through the crowd and into the streets. She tried to look around for someone, anyone who was also rushing to go fight.

Lock scratched his head, a little confused. What was with all of these players encountering them all of a sudden? "Hey Vash, you understand what's going on?" He asked. He would have asked Abisk, but he was busy talking to the newcomers.

"No, I don't either." Vash was very confused.

 

"She must be. Already has an orange cursor and a ten thousand gil bounty. No clue how someone pulled that off, but they did." Aether pushed off from the tree and stepped forward.
"Aether. Like Absik, I too beta'd this game." The girl listened to Absik. "If you say so." She frowned. "And now I'm leaving. Goodnight."

Aether abruptly turned away and began to leave...but kept an eye on them the entire time.
Orange cursor was...problematic.

"T-ten thousand!?" Abisk thought. "That's absurd..." he muttered, watching Aether walk away. "One less powerful player to deal with now, at least."

 

[i can´t believe the potion worked so well ... Guess is my lucky day] Black thought for a moment, when Aether left. Of course Abisk had reasons to not trust him at all, but as they were together into this... he pulled out two bottles and gave them to Kei and Abisk. "This will work out very well" He said as giving the bottles. 

"Thanks." Abisk stored it in his inventory. "I'm saving it for later, though." He said, grabbing a potion from his item pack, drinking most of it, his HP refilled since he had the moment to take it.

 

"A PK....You could choose to believe I am or not, how ever I was watching you from the moment you entered this forest thinking you'd need help. But I guess you lot were quite strong to destroy so many of those creatures...So in that case, I'm challenging you lot to a none killing battle to see if you are what I'm looking for" said Elyna as she moved into a battle position with her hand just over her sword "My name is Elyna & I'm a former beta tester" said Elyna.

"A Beta Tester..." He thought. "My name, is Abisk, former Beta Tester, now Beater." He introduced himself, preparing his blade. His Sword Skills had all cooled off by now. "Good... If only I wasn't as exhausted..." he thought.

 

"It is kind of suspicious..." Kei whispered back. "Still, I don't know that I'm necessarily suspicious of Aether. After all, she did help us out in that fight. If she was really out to get us, she would have just let the monsters kill us right there." Kei looked at her health after Abisk's warning. It was red... She hadn't been paying attention to it since the whole incident. "I'm prepared, but my health's a little low." She downed a potion, hoping that the orange player would think that she did it just to recover from the fight.

 

"Oh... Well, thank you, Aether." Kei thanked the girl as she was leaving. She doesn't seem as friendly as the others... Still, if she helped us out, she probably had some sort of good intentions.

 

"A duel?" Kei looked at Abisk. "You think we should take it...?" She whispered, a little nervous. Going against a player was bad enough; a beta tester was worse.

 

"Right... Thanks, Black. You really helped." Kei smiled, taking the bottle.

"If I don't, she could attack the rest of you. And if I beat her but don't kill her, I can turn her in and get the 10,000 Gil." Abisk whispered, sliding himself into his sword stance: His right-hand blade drawn against his stomach, the flat-side to his stomach, the point stuck slightly in-front of his left-foot, which he was leading with, he held his left hand slightly out in front of him. "I accept your duel." The duel-timer started... 10...9...8...7...6...

Kei nodded. "Alright..." After having fought alongside Abisk all day, it was strange to just watch him. He couldn't die though, so at least she didn't have to worry about that. She watched the fight. Wait... Beater? What's a Beater, anyways...? She thought to herself, now slightly confused.

Aether turned. Beater?

"Absik, what's with the Beater title? Makes no real sense." She inquired emotionlessly. "It sounds like you're trying to sound badass before you have the right to be called as such."

"Well, at this point, I'm just beating around the bush." only Absik could say that with a completely strait face. If he had a band, a rimshot would have played, but the strategy should have been obvious: Keep people talking to let him recover some energy. He barely had had a moment's rest since it all started. "Besides. Goot Testers like us are practically cheating. Beta cheaters, Beaters." He looked his opponent strait in her eyes. 

Lock furrowed his brow and gripped his hammer. He didn't care much for Abisk. He seemed arrogant and bossy. However, he didn't want him to die, especially after all he'd done for them. If this Elyna tried to kill Abisk, he'd make sure she got a hammer straight to the face. "Stay alert." he told Vash. "If she tries anything that endangers Abisk, we let her have it, agreed?"

"Beater...hmph. makes sense. I already hit level ten and have my battle healing at fifty points every ten seconds." She smirked, before going nuetral again. "Two Beaters so far..." she paused. "You got friends. I'll do you a favor." She decidee to leave. "When the time comes, I'll be the focal point of hatred Absik. Keep your friends close."

She disappearedninto the foliage, heading for bed.

Elyna started the duel by jumping into the air towards Abisk spinning in a circle like motion with her sword glowing a pink colour creating a defensive move which could also strike the enemy if they stood still to long. Elyna then spoke out saying "So you are Abisk, I can't believe you...You'll have to show me that your truly him" said Elyna.

With little of a breath, using the upper-cut like Sword Skill, Abisk met Elyna mid-air, her attack stat was high, but her speed and opening move were poor. Knocking the back into the air, Abisk landed on the ground, sliding a bit before having him rush in at her. "I'm going to unveil the one move I didn't let Kayaba, nor anyone see in the Beta." He thought, jumping up, his blade glowed sky-blue as he reached a great height, just a bit above where he had knocked Elyna into the air, he was spinning with his blade rotating with his body: It somewhat resembles a spin-dash done by Sonic the Hedgehog, only with a deadly, razor-sharp iron blade ready to penetrate it's foes. Abisk uncurled as he reached just above Elyna, using the momentum from the spin to add extra power to the hit. Under his Sword-Skills, his first trademark move had it's name written: "Great Areal Cutter"

"Hm." Was all Abisk grunted, making note of her decision. Then.

Elyna was not gonna let this guy get the better of her, so Elyna quickly threw away her brown coat that she was wearing to reveal she had a little dark green dragon which was all coiled up around her body with it's tail wrapped around her right leg. Elyna was a dragon Beast Tamer, then Elyna's green dragon quickly spread it's wings out from behind Elyna's back holding onto Elyna & quickly flying her backwards out of range from Abisk's attack "Most of the beta testers have their own titles & my title is 'The Dragon striker'....You may have a special move, but so do I & I can't believe you don't even recognize me yet. Did you lose your memory or something?" said Elyna questioning him.

(First, but we have a gaggle of high-ranging beta-testers. Being Beta Testers, they probably have certain tricks up their sleeve. As of right now, in-RP, Abisk and a few other Betas know that you can(with practice) create new Sword Skills.)

(Nah it´s ok. I just found it curious if not, Diabel would have survived the boss in first floor anyway just keep the fight)

Anyway it looks like I finally found some players that are strong enough to beat this game. Once again I'm sorry for this, you see I'm not a evil player just cause my cursor is orange, my cursor's orange because---W-wait a sec, never mind that. This here is my tamed beast named Ray & I've been looking for strong players to help me beat this game, are you guys trying to do the same?" said Elyna as she pets her dragon & Ray soon starting to lick Elyna's cheek.

Elyna then used a health potion on herself "Sorry for the sudden challenge you guys, I must have mistaken you for another Abisk person then, as the Abisk I know was in my beta testing guild, but seeming that you don't now me. He looked at their small group. "To be honest, though, I'm not too particularly keen about trusting you, whatever your reason for your cursor being yellow might be. I have my team and myself to think about first." Abisk said, turning away from Elyna. "And I'm sorry, but I rarely worked in Guilds, I preferred to solo at the time." He said, looking to Kei. "We should go and complete the Quest then try and rest at an Inn so that we can start moving to the next town over." Abisk told her, looking over the group. "Everyone, we're moving out." he announced to the little guild of four members. "And if you would like to join us, Black, you proved a good member of the team as well." He offered.

Elyna gave a straight weird look at Abisk "With that kind of attitude you guys will never escape this game, hee hee" giggled Elyna. Then when Abisk spoke about not trusting her Elyna's face went a bit sad "I didn't think you'd want me to join your guild...after all...no one wants someone that has a orange cursor, right? I've been solo all this time after my guild was wiped out" said Elyna with a saddened face as her eyes were looking at the ground with Ray her green dragon doing the same expression "Well, here take this" said Elyna has she tossed a golden apple to Kei "That's my Fav fruit, Take it as a sign that we will met again for better or for worse" said Elyna as Ray her green dragon soon spread it's wings from behind Elyna holding her back as Ray then flew high into the air "See ya later & you'd better be stronger when we next met as I will be far stronger by then to take you down in our next duel Abisk & yes..even you Keimei!!" yelled Elyna before she flew away into the far distance.

(I think it is way way too early for guilds to be wiped out and even for beta testers to have a dragon large enough to carry someone. Its kinda getting too OP and ridiculous.)

 

Aether awoke the next morning and got out of bed. The black nightgown fell to her knees. Unequiping the dress, then equiping her current armor (a DLC armor that was weaker then Absik's) she headed out.

Looking around, she set off for the next town, aiming for a field near the boss's room that was excellent for farming before one would go fight a boss.

Especially Ilfang the Kobold Lord.

The duel stopped, Abisk had the "Winner" Marking floating above his head, he sighed in relief. "I'm sorry I'm not the same guy." Abisk apologized. "But no, we're not looking per-se to make a huge raiding Guild. We all just want to survive till game-clear and make it to the hundredth floor: Be it us or someone else who brings it." He looked at their small group. "To be honest, though, I'm not too particularly keen about trusting you, whatever your reason for your cursor being yellow might be. "Got it." Keimei said in response. Finally, I can try to go get some sleep... She thought to herself. The whole quest had exhausted her, and she was about ready to pass out. "Why don't we all discuss this as we head over to the NPC who gave you the quest...?" She suggested, wanting to hurry things up.

I've been solo all this time after my guild was wiped out" said Elyna with a saddened face as her eyes were looking at the ground with Ray her green dragon doing the same expression "Well, here take this" said Elyna has she tossed a golden apple to Kei "That's my Fav fruit, Take it as a sign that we will met again for better or for worse" said Elyna as Ray her green dragon soon spread it's wings from behind Elyna holding her back as Ray then flew high into the air "See ya later & you'd better be stronger when we next met as I will be far stronger by then to take you down in our next duel Abisk & yes..even you Keimei!!" yelled Elyna before she flew away into the far distance.

Kei caught the apple. "O-okay..." She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to meet this girl again, especially if she was planning to duel her next time. She didn't think she'd be able to take down a Beta Tester... She took the fruit anyway, though.

The duel stopped, Abisk had the "Winner" Marking floating above his head, he sighed in relief. "I'm sorry I'm not the same guy." Abisk apologized. "But no, we're not looking per-se to make a huge raiding Guild. We all just want to survive till game-clear and make it to the hundredth floor: Be it us or someone else who brings it." He looked at their small group. "To be honest, though, I'm not too particularly keen about trusting you, whatever your reason for your cursor being yellow might be. I have my team and myself to think about first." Abisk said, turning away from Elyna. "And I'm sorry, but I rarely worked in Guilds, I preferred to solo at the time." He said, looking to Kei. "We should go and complete the Quest then try and rest at an Inn so that we can start moving to the next town over." Abisk told her, looking over the group. "Everyone, we're moving out." he announced to the little guild of four members. "And if you would like to join us, Black, you proved a good member of the team as well." He offered.

 

[Mmm... joining them?... they actually started a blast of monster... What if it happens again? by the other hand... being alone it´s not too nice... maybe if I join them I can become better then we can end this game and get out of here. ] Black thought as he scratched his chin. "Alright, I´ll join." He said while pulling out the item of the inventory. "Here. This is the item of the NPC´s mission [ Nepent´s root]. I got it from the river. Hehe " he said while giving it to Abisk.
