Keimei looked around at the crowd in the center plaza of the Starting Town. "Why was I just taken here...?" She asked aloud. She'd only been playing for a couple hours, and had decided to get into the combat system before finding anyone to team up with. She looked around the crowd, noticing a lot of other people were also teleporting there. Suddenly, the sky above her turned blood red. A cloaked figure appeared over the square, and hovered there.

 

"Hello everyone, and welcome to SAO." A voice boomed over the crowd. "You're likely wondering who I am... My true identity will remain secret. However, I will tell you this; I have hacked into SAO. Some of you may have noticed that there isn't a log-out button... That's because I've removed the option to log out. I've trapped you all in the game..." He paused, as the crowd was dead silent. He eventually continued. "Why have I done this? Simple. I've wanted a world of my liking. In this world, I've surpassed even the game's creator, Kayaba Akihiko. Here, I control you all... Unless, of course, you can clear all 100 floors. However, that's impossible..." He cackled. "Also, to warn you... If you die in the world of SAO, the NerveGear will fry your brain in the real world, killing you in both. If anyone attempts to remove your NerveGear, you will also die. Now then, before I leave, I have a gift for you..." Suddenly, a mirror appeared in Keimei's inventory. She used it, out of curiosity. There was a sudden flash of light, and she shut her eyes...

 

When she opened her eyes, she felt different. She looked into the mirror... That's... my real face in the mirror... She looked in horror. Aside from her hair color, which was the same shade of red that she'd made it in-game, she looked exactly like she did in real life.

 

"Now then... With this, I must leave. Good luck in Aincrad... You'll need it." A maniacal laughter echoed along the buildings, as the figure disappeared.

 

After the echoes, there was silence. After what felt like ages, people began rioting. "We're doomed!" "I can't be trapped in the game, I've got a meeting in an hour!" "That had to all be some sick joke!" Keimei looked around in confusion. She didn't know what to do. She looked around frantically.

 

I have to get out... The only way to do that is to fight, and I'll need partners... Man, I really wish my friends had been able to get the game so I wouldn't be alone in this. She dashed through town, weaving her way through the crowd and into the streets. She tried to look around for someone, anyone who was also rushing to go fight.

Elyna gave a straight weird look at Abisk "With that kind of attitude you guys will never escape this game, hee hee" giggled Elyna. Then when Abisk spoke about not trusting her Elyna's face went a bit sad "I didn't think you'd want me to join your guild...after all...no one wants someone that has a orange cursor, right? I've been solo all this time after my guild was wiped out" said Elyna with a saddened face as her eyes were looking at the ground with Ray her green dragon doing the same expression "Well, here take this" said Elyna has she tossed a golden apple to Kei "That's my Fav fruit, Take it as a sign that we will met again for better or for worse" said Elyna as Ray her green dragon soon spread it's wings from behind Elyna holding her back as Ray then flew high into the air "See ya later & you'd better be stronger when we next met as I will be far stronger by then to take you down in our next duel Abisk & yes..even you Keimei!!" yelled Elyna before she flew away into the far distance.

"Next time we meet, trust me it won't be for a duel." Abisk thought, watching Kei catch the apple that was thrown at them.

"Got it." Keimei said in response. Finally, I can try to go get some sleep... She thought to herself. The whole quest had exhausted her, and she was about ready to pass out. "Why don't we all discuss this as we head over to the NPC who gave you the quest...?" She suggested, wanting to hurry things up. Kei caught the apple. "O-okay..." She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to meet this girl again, especially if she was planning to duel her next time. She didn't think she'd be able to take down a Beta Tester... She took the fruit anyway, though.

"Let's." Abisk was still mentally in combat-mode. Having him speak more than a few words other than to explain something. In his head however, he was thinking "I better train Kei. Even if I don't know who she is, she's got a very large dragon and has the know-how on how to make Sword Skills, that spinning Aerial one she had was not in the list of known ones.

What if it happens again? by the other hand... being alone it´s not too nice... maybe if I join them I can become better then we can end this game and get out of here. ] Black thought as he scratched his chin. "Alright, I´ll join." He said while pulling out the item of the inventory. "Here. This is the item of the NPC´s mission [ Nepent´s root]. I got it from the river. Hehe " he said while giving it to Abisk.

"Hm. Thanks." Abisk took the root, then started to lead everyone out of the forest.

Half-expecting the NPC's quest icon to disappear, Abisk was surprised to notice that the NPC had the icon above his head. "Black, you took the quest also." He removed some of the item from his inventory, the necessary amount of two, and threw it over to him. "Get yourself the item as well, since you took the quest also."

"Yeah, I'd rather not have to sleep on the floor again, not to mention endure his snoring. Fortunently, I fell asleep before it started, but I don't want to risk trying again." Lock said, and then turned to Vash, "No offence, by the way."

"I don't really mind either way." Kei shrugged. "I mean, it wouldn't hurt to save a little money still."

"Yeah, I'd rather not have to sleep on the floor again, not to mention endure his snoring. Fortunently, I fell asleep before it started, but I don't want to risk trying again." Lock said, and then turned to Vash, "No offence, by the way."

"I'm not leaving you in a room alone. That Yellow Player might still be going after us, and none of you alone stand a chance against her, I wasn't too sure I could beat her, myself." He responded.

"Alright, fine by me." Kei nodded. I'm not sure why she's targeting me too, though... What'd I do to her, anyways? She thought to herself, clearly a little confused.

[Finaly, I can rest in peace and pretend I'm back in the real world, at least for a few hours.] he thought, and turned towards the others, "Good night, see you all in the morning." And with that he went into the room he was sleeping in earlyer, took off his armor, and fell asleep on the bed.

Robin woke up early in the morning and headed off for the next town, he defeated all the base enemies on the way, grinding his way to the next town. He walked into the town surprised by the lack of people. "wow guess I'm actually in front of most" Robin used his gil to upgrade his weapons and then headed past the town and began grinding again. He was surprised, there were only about 20 people past the second town "I guess most of them are beta's" Robin was happy with himself that he'd kept up. "It's gonna be a long day! I've gotta keep up with these guys" His speed stat was very high but most of his other stats were sub par. He was still able to dodge most attacks but it still took him too long to defeat enemies because of his low attack stat, he decided to focus on getting his attack up before anything else. "looks like I'm gonna be solo for a while" Robin sighed.

 

Elyna took some time to sleep before she soon come to a town she was looking for, Elyna then walked into a room in an inn to meet with an orange player named Alex, as Elyna entered the inn room she saw Alex already waiting for her & they both sat down at a table, Ray the dragon was still coiled up around Elyna's body "Did complete your quest?" said Alex "Yeah, yeah, here's the Nepent´s root x16 & 2 types of iron that you wanted, now give me what I wanted" said Elyna "Hehe, great job, here's your long sword weapon & a health boost Accessory. Did you find Abisk or Keimei yet?" said the red player.

 

"I thought I found Abisk...but turns out I found someone with the same name, however I did find Keimei...but she's being protected by this other Abisk dude. So I couldn't get the chance to talk with her" said Elyna as she got up off her chair "I'll get the chance some day...but for now I should try to find other players that will trust me" said Elyna "Remember the reward you'll get for doing your part, we orange players need to stick together" said Alex, Elyna's eyes lowered with a sad look on her face "Yeah, yeah, I know already Alex. I won't forget" said Elyna as she left the inn "I just wish I could find someone that could see me as a friend. It wasn't my fault my guild was wiped out....was it?" whispered Elyna to herself. ELyna was walking for some time until she soon saw some player in the distance (Robin) "Hey you!! Stop right there!" yelled Elyna as she ran up to him, Elyna took a moment to catch her breath "You look strong enough, What's your name?" said Elyna as she regained her breath.

Many players just aren't built for combat, some just weren't born for it all..." He said, looking around. "For the first time in a few weeks I'm actually sleepy. Heh... I guess this hole ordeal has exhausted me..."
