Keimei looked around at the crowd in the center plaza of the Starting Town. "Why was I just taken here...?" She asked aloud. She'd only been playing for a couple hours, and had decided to get into the combat system before finding anyone to team up with. She looked around the crowd, noticing a lot of other people were also teleporting there. Suddenly, the sky above her turned blood red. A cloaked figure appeared over the square, and hovered there.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to SAO." A voice boomed over the crowd. "You're likely wondering who I am... My true identity will remain secret. However, I will tell you this; I have hacked into SAO. Some of you may have noticed that there isn't a log-out button... That's because I've removed the option to log out. I've trapped you all in the game..." He paused, as the crowd was dead silent. He eventually continued. "Why have I done this? Simple. I've wanted a world of my liking. In this world, I've surpassed even the game's creator, Kayaba Akihiko. Here, I control you all... Unless, of course, you can clear all 100 floors. However, that's impossible..." He cackled. "Also, to warn you... If you die in the world of SAO, the NerveGear will fry your brain in the real world, killing you in both. If anyone attempts to remove your NerveGear, you will also die. Now then, before I leave, I have a gift for you..." Suddenly, a mirror appeared in Keimei's inventory. She used it, out of curiosity. There was a sudden flash of light, and she shut her eyes...

When she opened her eyes, she felt different. She looked into the mirror... That's... my real face in the mirror... She looked in horror. Aside from her hair color, which was the same shade of red that she'd made it in-game, she looked exactly like she did in real life.

"Now then... With this, I must leave. Good luck in Aincrad... You'll need it." A maniacal laughter echoed along the buildings, as the figure disappeared.

After the echoes, there was silence. After what felt like ages, people began rioting. "We're doomed!" "I can't be trapped in the game, I've got a meeting in an hour!" "That had to all be some sick joke!" Keimei looked around in confusion. She didn't know what to do. She looked around frantically.

I have to get out... The only way to do that is to fight, and I'll need partners... Man, I really wish my friends had been able to get the game so I wouldn't be alone in this. She dashed through town, weaving her way through the crowd and into the streets. She tried to look around for someone, anyone who was also rushing to go fight.

"It's morning Vash, and you slept in. By now nearly every other player's probably outside gaining experience points. Now come on, we're meeting in Abisk's and Kai's room." Lock said to Vash, and then walked into the room they were gathering in.

"Ok fine." Vash got up out of bed and walked into the room they were gathering in. He sat down. "So waht are we gonna do..." He started to fall asleep again.

Suddenly, Lock's avatar fell unconscious, Abisk ran out of his room at the "thud" he made when he fell. Running over to Lock, he wasn't paralyzed, and his avatar was seemingly devoid of a person working it. "They must be moving people into the hospital already..." Abisk muttered, picking him up and returning him to his room. "Vash, get to my room, once everyone is in there we make our plans for the day. Lock will be fine, they're probably just taking him to the hospital right now, considering everything." He told Vash, closing Lock's door, key in his hand.

"Humph! not gonna bother talking to me? Your just like the rest of those stupid green players" said Elyna before she ran off just outside of town onto a plans field. Elyna looked around as the night came in, it was night time now as Elyna sat on the ground staring at the nights sky "Everyone thinks I'm a bad person just because I have an orange cursor....but I'm not...am I? It wasn't my fault" said Elyna as tears started to run down her cheeks. Elyna's eyes soon went cold as though something inside her started to snap "Those green players only care for themselves Elyna, same with every other player in this game, why would you help them if all they'll do is use you then betray you later so they won't get killed. Trust me & I'll take care of them....let me take over?" said a strange voice in her head "AAAAHHHH!!!!" screamed Elyna in pain as she held her head with both her arms. Elyna then used her Howl skill which drew a lot of wolfs, at least 20 of them. Elyna soon drew her new long sword weapon, her eyes had stopped crying but they had also changed colour to yellow "Time to do some leveling up, hehe" said Elyna with a creepy smile on her face.

~Present Time (Morning)~

Elyna soon woke up from Ray licking her face, Elyna felt very weird & her eyes were back to normal colour, also she couldn't remember what happened last night "W-where am I? I thought I heard something last night Ray....maybe I dreamt the whole thing. Oh well time to get up off this grass & find some delicious golden apples" said Elyna as her dragon Ray coiled up around her body. ELyna then equipped a brown cloak on her & she decided to check her inventory as well as her stats "Okay, I have much higher attack than I did before thanks to this long sword & my weapons are in good order. I got some good accessories to help with my health increase. I do so love having great critical points. Oh my level as gone up too. Okay I really need to eat now, time to eat!" said Elyna as entered the towns market. Elyna was soon eating a bunch of golden delicious apples she had bought as she walked down town.

(Yay for explanations for Xigboss being gone camping)

Kei was still sitting on the bed in her room, waiting for the others. She laid down, being lost in thought after being left alone in the room. I can't believe I'm stuck in this stupid game... What if I die here? What if I can never see my family or friends again...? She'd honestly been hoping that everything that happened was just some bad dream...

"But, what about us? Shouldn't we go unconsious since they're gonna do the same for us now?" Vash asked.

Ryonne took another bite of his breakfast. It wasn't quite as good as real-world stuff, but he was adjusting to the facts of the game. Ryonne nodded to himself. It helped to review a day's plan with others before carrying it out. Just in case you missed anything important. He took another bite, chewed and swallowed, then looked back to Sikiro. "Then we take the map data back here to town, and enlist some help to kill the boss." Ryonne reassured himself. He gobbled down the rest of his rice and eggs, before standing. He placed several gil on the table, and grabbed his blade in its sheath next to him. He wandered over to the door, then waited for Sikiro.

"But, what about us? Shouldn't we go unconsious since they're gonna do the same for us now?" Vash asked.

"We're not in the same areas, likely, and the ambulances will be swamped, we're not all going to D.C. at the same time..." Abisk replied, returning to his room. "Kei, they're starting to transport people to the hospital, we may D.C. at any moment if we go out, so I think we should probably stay within the town for the next few days, or until all of us in the group get D.C'd and come back online, it would be dangerous to move right now." He told Kei.

Kei sat up. "Right, got it." She stretched and stood. "Are the others all D.C.'d?" She asked, hoping that they'd manage to be able to get some sort of plans made.

"Black and Vash are in the hall, Lock D.C.'d,that leaves you and me." Abisk checked his status. "Log-in history... I've already been moved." Abisk said, looking through his menu. "This guy added a few features... A marriage option seems to be the most notible thing in the Privacy Settings... Hmm." Abisk overlooked the menu. "A few other small things but other than that there isn't much change to SAO's menu's..."

Kei scrolled through her menu, too. "Looks like I've been moved, too." She said, flipping through the other settings. "A marriage option? Seems like a strange thing to add to the game... I've never heard of any other MMOs with that feature."

(Ok, heads up on my end: I've got work, then after work I go out to do training for my new job, so please...do me a favor and not do anything important without me Dx it should only last the week and I can post at nights np.)

Aether had done a few quests already. All the simple ones for some EXP, she sighed softly. She was leveling well, but she still needed a good sword. The Black Iron Straight Sword was nice, and the Tempered Anneal and her Anneal Swords were good, but she really needed to get her ass up farther. Nearer to level fifty five would be better; she really could use an Elucidator.

"The boss. I should find the boss." She said.

She quickly set off.

(Being anywhere near 55 right now would be near-impossible...)

"I've been in a few with Marriage option, mostly because marriage was able to give major status boosts and certain quests and options would only appear for married groups." Abisk was disinterested in the option, the option was decent and all, but it barely mattered in a game like this.

(what level ARE you? i swear not 2 posts ago you were level 10 hoping to be level 30 or something? it's only been a night and it's the next morning so you can't have leveled very far :P )

Robin continued to level outside the second town, he was keeping up with the beta's!!! not the crazy in front beta's but he was definitely in the middle of the front pack. It both excited and scared him! People had started going to the dungeon just beyond the third town and soon Robin would be ready to go as well. Robin pushed through the area and could see the third town in the distance. "perhaps I'll stay there? I've heard that people have started to go to sleep and move to hospitals, I guess I'll have to stay in a town until that's all over." Robin thought to himself as he plowed through another enemy, "this really is beautiful." Robin looked around at the extended fields and the green grass, " Now I'm talking to myself" Robin sighed and moved toward the town to find a place to get comfortable.

(She's level 11 by now. Remember she is using all the easy quests supplemented by farming so she is level at a decent pace. >.> why donpeople think all the worst things when its Aether's plans/hopes she is going through, because she absolutely hates being so powerless in the beginning of games :/ )

(Isn't the level cap for the first floor level 11? I remember hearing that in one of the Sword Art Offline OVAs.)

"Oh... Well, I guess it's kind of interesting if it has stat boosts and quests... Otherwise, sounds really pointless." Kei sighed. "Hey, if we've got time, want to go look around the stores with me? I'm... kinda hungry." Kei looked a little embarrassed to be thinking of food at a time like this.

"I doubt that the guy behind it all put it in to give boosts, its probably for couples who really like each-other..." He muttered, looking at his level. "Seven... Nice... Good for just a day in..." He thought, his stomach growled loudly after Kei mentioned food. "Y-yeah... Food sounds good..." Abisk replied. "I know a place in this town, good food for the lowest floor. Nothing special, just small sandwiches, but not bad still." He looked around on the map. "But shopping isn't much-good here, save for some small armor shops and a few clothing stores..."

"Oh, alright." Keimei sighed. "I was hoping to get some ingredients and boost my cooking level... Oh well, any kind of food sounds good right now. So, if we're waiting for Vash, Lock, and Black to get ready... Think we have the time to go now?" She asked.

"I-I didn't know you had the Cooking skill... If you want to gather food there is market, it dosen't have loads of stuff, but what it dose have is decent..." Abisk felt a little stupid, even though he didn't know it at first.

Keimei nodded. "Alright." She left the inn, and made her way through town with Abisk. "Let's hope that the others don't get worried when they find out we're not at the inn..." She muttered, eventually finding a market. She looked around at the food there. "There are a few things here I can use..." She began muttering things to herself, buying a couple ingredients.

"Good to hear, we're also going to need to buy the things neccisary, like knives and cutting boards, stuff like that." Abisk told Kei, keeping up with her.

"The blacksmith shop had knives, but i don't know about any of the other stuff. We'll have to check out a houseware store for that stuff." Abisk replied. "I think there is one in this town, if I recall..."
