Entries (Supposed)

Entry
The
Grass-type Pokémon Chespin has a tough shell covering its head and back.
Despite having a curious nature that tends to get it in trouble,
Chespin keeps an optimistic outlook and doesn't worry about small
details.

Entry
Searing
heat of up to 200 degrees blows from the ears of the Fire-type Pokémon
Fennekin. This Pokémon loves to snack on twigs. Fennekin can be
temperamental, but it tries to do its best for its Trainer.

Entry
The
Water-type Pokémon Froakie is both light and strong, making it capable
of jumping incredibly high. The bubbles on its chest and back protect it
from attacks. Froakie may appear absentminded, but in truth it pays
close attention to its surroundings at all times.

Entry
With its
trademark leaf always sticking out of its mouth, Pancham tries to
intimidate its opponents by glaring at them intensely (although this is
rarely successful).

Entry
With a
friendly nature and a beautiful chirp, Fletchling is a popular Pokémon
among many Trainers. But Fletchling is also known to be ferocious in
battle, capable of unleashing relentless attacks!

Entry
Gogoat is
so large that people are able to ride on its back. It's very calm, and
can form a strong bond with its Trainer's feelings when its Trainer
grabs onto its horns.

Entry
Helioptile charges itself by bathing in the light of the sun, providing it with enough energy that it doesn't need to eat!

You guys remember when you all thought Slyveon would be a flying type? Good times.

Heyy I thought it was a new type. Light or Fairy.

You guys remember when you all thought Slyveon would be a flying type? Good times.

I didn't think so...about time there would be a new type, lol.

X & Y Roundtable News

  • Players would be able to choose 7 languages to play (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Korean).
  • New PSS (Player Search System) will allow players to search for others locally or globally (via Wi-Fi) to battle and trade. (Communicates with Spotpass and Streetpass)
  • Mr. Masuda is demonstrating PSS, with 2 new Pokémon never shown before!
  • Skrelp (who I suppose is the Squid) is a Poison/Water type Pokémon and Clauncher (who I suppose is the crab) is a Water type Pokémon. I suppose these are the ones being traded!
  • The games feature multiple camera angles and viewpoints, even split screens.
  • You can promote the people you pass by with PSS into Friends, Acquaintances, and those you Pass by. You can promote them up to Friends, and you can only hold up to 100 friends. Battling with people you Pass by promotes them to Acquaintances. Trading is still the same. Interacting with your Acquaintances more than once leads your relationship up to the request of being a Friend.
  • Other Pokémon will be ridable, including Rhydon.
  • There's a new Fire type Pokémon which resembles a pup
  • Matsuda hinted that interacting with Pokémon in Pokémon-Amie will have an additional benefit in battle!
  • There are 5 against 1 battles. (aww yeah). It's called "Horde Encounters", which is a new battle scenario. May include Pokémon of various species, and not just 5 Dittos or Rotoms.
  • Sky battles confirmed!
  • Horde Encounters is to balance the difficulty, to keep people from capturing powerful Pokémon in the wild and breezing through.
  • Talonflame is a new Fire/Flying who focuses on Speed. (POSSIBLY the evolution of Fletchling but it's not revealed) (Shown above as well)
  • Only some Flying Type Pokémon can enter Sky Battle. Haunter is being used too, this means Pokémon with Levitate can participate as well!

And thats a wrap!

I will update this as time goes by and more information comes out.

How would Horde Encounters work?

And Sky Battles!

How would Horde Encounters work?

And Sky Battles!

Similar to Wild Pokémon battles I suppose. It wouldn't "balance the difficulty" if they had it optional.

Not sure about Sky Battles, I suppose it's the same way it works in the Anime, which is outstanding.

GUYS!

You know

Talonflame could be the 2ND Evo of Fletchling!

Remember that Fletchling used flame charge, or something?

There needs to be some one before Talonflame, and after Fletchling, though.

Support?

NOTE: There will be a recap video tomorrow for the Roundtable!

Notes:

There is a photo for Horde Encounters and Sky battles, but there are difficulties opening the image up...

X/Y Questions and Answer:

  • Is there multiple save files?
  • No.
  • Can Pokémon be imported from previous games?
  • Yes.
  • Why was Fairy types created?
  • To imbalance the power of all Dragon Types.
  • Are you going to reveal the new Pokémon?
  • No not yet. (Theres a hint of it not being finalized)
  • Why is the region based off of France?
  • We want to focus on beauty.
  • Would you put Red and Blue on the Virtual Console?
  • No.
  • Who is Clauncher and Skrelp?
  • The two Pokémon previously show before (The squid/seahorse and the crustacean)
  • Will EVs and IVs be more visable?
  • Yes they will be.
  • What about the movement?
  • There is 8 directional movement. It's stilla  grid because it's easier for players to understand. It's also better for encountering wild Pokémon. Rollar skates and other things can move the character off the grid though.
  • What about the music?
  • Music will be less digitized in the games as of now, it will contain a different feeling. (I KNEW POKÉMON WERE GOING ORCHESTRA ONCE I HEARD IT FROM THE TRAILER)
  • What about the Metwo formes?
  • No comment. (they literally said this I'm not joking)
  • Can you tell us more about the rival?
  • There will be a rival, but the focus will be on connecting with others now instead of just the rival.
  • Do you have information you'd like to share about the villainous(s) teams?
  • Is the PSS & 3DS Friend list fully integrated?
  • Yes they are.
  • Are there various transportation methods?
  • Yes they are, but some are localized to part of the region (and gyms as well).
  • Will online battling be different?
  • Online battling will be the same as ever before, BUT you can pick which music you want to play during the battle.
  • What do you mean some are localized to part of the region?
  • Some Pokémon will help riding in specific areas. Like Rhyhorn in rocky areas.

I suppose it ended! If it continues I'll add more. 30 minutes has passed so I suppose thats the end of it.

Revealed that Talonflame is in fact the Evo of Fletchling.

EVs and IVs will be more visible? Oh boy it better be literally visable and I'll be a happy customer!

Pokemon can be transferred. Well Darkrai and friends, it's that time of year again.

More info from Serebii, but not posting because you guys can type that.

Well looks like another ugly Pokemon to add to my list; a mutated Sunflora. (Furabebe) Sana and friends, meh a obese, a ginger, and a Mei wannabe. Bug gym leader confirmed: Viola. Where mah Dark gym leader?

Edited by OmegaForte

SPECTUALATIONS!

Viola will have a

Vilvillon

Spewpa

Well...we don't have anymore pokemon yet, if this follows Black and White 1...how Gym Leaders have only the gen's pokemon...

Furabebe (JAP)

Fairy Type

It beats Tynamo at being the lightest and smallest pokemon alive.

It's actually NOT part of the flower, but it's like a hermit crab in the sense.

(Imagining this pokemon without the flower makes it CUTE!)

Simbaflare

Okay. Not really.

Shishiko (JAP)

Fire/Normal Type

I'd post the Others, but...I'll let someone else do them.

So...Spewpa is the middle form of the Vilvillon line.

WE GOT OUR GEN 6 BUTTERFREE GAIZ!

  • 1st scan: Shishiko is the Lion Cub Pokemon and is Fire/Normal. It learns a new attack called War Cry
which lowers the target's Attack. This Pokemon has a temper, is quick
to fight, and lives in packs. When they become stronger, they leave
their packs to go live alone. The red bang on its head emits heat. This
Pokemon was first shown last night at the X/Y roundtable.
  • 2nd scan: Furabebe, the Lone Flower Pokemon, is a Fairy-type.
It can learn Fairy Wind. When this Pokemon is born, it looks for a
flower and stays with it for its entire life. There may be Furabebe that
are holding on to different flowers in the games.
  • 3rd scan: Vivillon has two pre-evolutions named Kofukimushi and Kofuurai (one of these is Spewpa). Both are Bug-type.
  • 4th scan: Pansy (left) will appear in the TV show on July 18th with a Gogoat and Helioptile. She's a photographer from Lumiose City. Viola (right) is the Gym Leader of Hakudan City. She specializes in the Bug-type. She carries a video camera around.
  • 5th/6th scan: Asame Town is the starting town. The characters shown are from left to right Toroba, Tieruno, and Sana
(Sana resembles one of the characters from an earlier trailer who's
following you in the forest). All three are from Asame Town, begin their
Pokemon journeys with you, and you befriend them at the beginning of
the story. You also befriend the opposite-gender character, who is
either Callum if you play as a girl or Serena if you play as a boy (in Japanese, at least). He or she lives next door to you.
